Title Weak Hero Class 2 Spoiler
can someone tell me how Baek Jin die?
they didn't show or say how he died. But in the webtoon, after the fight between Eunjang and the union, he was hit by a truck just like Si Eun was hit in the drama and Si Eun saw that. So if there's s3 maybe we could have a plot twist with him being alive.

Considering the amount of acts/content in the webtoon it would have been nicer if they took their time instead…
in Reddit we are still discussing if Kang Woo Young is really the representation of Jimmy Bae in webtoon haha.

I want s3 to happen just to wrap it all up with the s1 casts.

Since they didn't follow the webtoon and the fact that they didn't show how Na Baek Jin died in the drama, I think maybe they'll make a twist that he's alive and will join Baku's team together with Ahn Suho to beat Choi's gang, who ofcourse has Seong Je as his right-hand man (though Seong Je refused his offer, I think he will accept it eventually) making Seong Je another antagonist. Seong Je has the potential to be one of the antagonists if s3 were to happen, considering how he double-crossed Si Eun at the last minute. And the fact that they toned down the character of Na Baek Jin in the drama compared to the webtoon, that he is ruthless. They even made him and Baku childhood friends, another thing that didn't happen in the webtoon.

These comments really upset me but I really wanna talk about Baek jin and Baku cuz gooddddddd 🥀
what's your take on Baek Jin and Baku?
Saw some comments on thread that they were disappointed at Ryeoun casted as Baku, coz he looked old and they didn't like his appearance. They didn't know Ryeoun gained 10kg for the role of Big Ben, so it's a common sense that it will affect his appearance.

So Readers, how do you rank Soo ho vs Baek Jin vs Baku?Who's strongest and Weakest out of all 3?
for me (strongest to least)
1. Na Baek Jin
2. Park Hu Min (Baku)
3. Ahn Suho
Both live-action adaptation and webtoon.
in the webtoon Seong Je is rank 5 followed by our white mamba Si Eun in top 6, Suho excluded as it was a different ranking.

I think the replacement you're referring to is Seong Je(played by Lee Jun Young) and not Seo Jun Tae as he is…
no, he was hit by the truck, but not too hard.
But his nervous system was affected so his body is taking the chance to get fully rested as he is having trouble sleeping for a long time. It's in episode 7.

Pasting this again coz why not?😅

The director said they toned down all the violence and gloominess in s2 to appeal to the global audience (s1 was not a Netflix original, they even deleted some scenes when they streamed it). They should at least follow the manhwa in the fight between Si Eun and Hyo man, like where's the bag and the slap? haha.

And Si Eun is the ever-resourceful fighter who is a badass in webtoon, being in the top 6, that's our white mamba-yes, they should include that part.

No Rowan Im, Teddy Jin or Gerard Jin, no Kingsley or even the delusional Jimmy Bae.

And Na Baek Jin was more drawn to Si Eun than Baku. (Baek Jin was not a childhood friend of Baku).
Even the math contest of Baek Jin and Si Eun, they should at least retain that one. That shows the battle between those two is both brawls and brains. And even when he was dying, Baek Jin wondered and even imagined what his life would be if he met Si Eun a bit earlier.

While s1 gave us good storytelling, s2 seemed rushed, leaving some pivotal moments for Si Eun's character journey. Those characters in the webtoon that they excluded in the adaptation are all important.

But still we cannot expect that all adaptations will be portrayed 100% accurately from their source material. But as a manhwa reader, I can understand the disappointment of my fellow webtoon readers.

With that being said, this season is still a good watch, though it would be better, probably best best if they stayed faithful to the webtoon.

Title Weak Hero Class 2 Spoiler
I believe there will be a S3 as I get what will be the next plot. when Baek Jin replacement Seo Jun Tae asked…
I think the replacement you're referring to is Seong Je(played by Lee Jun Young) and not Seo Jun Tae as he is together with Team Baku-Si Eun.

In the webtoon it was an accident. He was hit by a truck, just like how Si Eun was hit in the drama. But his right-hand man doubts it. Since the drama didn't follow the webtoon and didn't even show how Baek Jin died, maybe there's another twist to it. Maybe he's alive, and they will all team up together with Suho (now that he's back) to fight Choi and maybe Seong Je will be one of the antagonists, as you see how he double-crossed Si Eun at the last minute. We don't know. But I am also hoping for season 3 just to wrap it all up with the season 1 cast.

Tbh i didn't enjoy it as much as season 1. This season felt like any other high school delinquent anime , more…
and here's the thing, they said that this season has fewer fights to show more on the psychological aspect. Guess that didn't end well.

"Toned down for global audience" ?? huh !Where other korean global sensation like Allofusaredead and squidgame…
As for the math contest, Na Baek Jin asked a hard question and Si Eun was able to solve it.

For the toned down, it was said that they wanted to focus on I don't know emotional something or what, so they had fewer fights/brutality.

And yes, Si Eun was made weak here, where in the webtoon he had many awesome fights that made him in the top 6, just one rank below Seong Je.

They even gave Baku an arc or a story, something even Suho didn't have in the first season.

And, yes, the aliases are all cool. They didn't use that, maybe because their focus was not on the fights but the emotional aspect.

the reviews are so misleading thts why i always go to the comments to decide whether something is good or not
though s2 can be a stand-alone drama. S1 is definitely a must-watch. Or, if you already watched the first season, then you should give s2 a try.
The reason this season is lower in ratings is that many manhwa/webtoon readers are disappointed at the adaptation. Season 1 is not a Netflix Original and many are praising it as it stays true to the source material. The director said that for this season, in order to appeal to the global audience, they toned down the gloominess and violence.

This season is junk compared to season 1. I would have beat the shit out of the effeminate looking Baek Ja In…
Well s1 is not Netflix Originals so if you are quiet upset with this season's storytelling that's understandable. The director said they toned down the gloominess and violence to appeal to the global fans, but I guess we get how violent they can be on the first season so we already expected a more intense fight and that didn't go well.

Park Jihoon, Choi Hyunwook & the director basically confirming that Suho-Sieun are in love- I'M NOT CRYING YOU…
I think they're teasing the fans. Hyunwook jokingly calls it a high school romance and Si Eun says Suho is like Si Eun's first love and the director also joins in on the fun😆

In the season 1 ending, we saw a hand filled with tattoos that was informed Si Eun beat the candidate of the association,…
that's Na Baek Jin. In season 2 they removed all his tattoos.
s1 is not Netflix Originals.

I've been waiting a long time and to be honest, this is not what I wanted! In fact, the second season just repeats…
in the netflix live the director said they toned down the gloominess and violence to appeal to the global audience.

S1 was not a Netflix Originals so that explains the mediocre storytelling of s2.
