I didn't hate the FL, but I am not at episode 10, and she's acting so incredibly and utterly stupid that I cannot overlook it anymore. It has nothing to do with her going for the ML, but she constantly puts herself in danger against all common sense when there is literally no reason to. She could have just called the police or at least superman when she got the text, but no, she runs straight into the murderer's arms.

This is the exact point I am at right now, and I am dropping. Nobody should be allowed to be this stupid (and have a leading role in a drama)

Like seriously, she gets a text from a missing woman she met ONCE, asking for help and not to tell anyone and comes running over without notifying ANYONE? Not the police not her 'SUPERMAN'? That woman has been missing for WEEKS, presumed dead, literally ALL the witnesses died, and FL knows she's the last one the killer just hasn't gotten around to yet. OBVIOUSLY the killer/kidnapper would have the woman's phone and her contact details, so WHY IN THE WORLD could she be so in-f*ck-credibly stupid to not think it would be a trap? This kind of writing is so sloppy, I mean, with many things, really, why would she take a bus in the middle of the night to the mountains if she owns a car, why would she parade around the neighorhood alone at night when there's a murderer after her, why would the police not get witness protection for the witnesses after they just keep dropping like flies?! There is so much more that doesn't make sense, ugh, honestly, I might just drop it, I don't think I can live with that kind of stupidity.

First two eps were a bit meh, but it picked up after that. Enjoyed the ride so far, although in the middle part it got a bit repetitive. But now. NOW. I'm at episode 10 and typical stupid AF female lead moves make me want to drop this drama so bad. WHY do the writers always have to paint them so stupid, urghhh. Makes me so mad, seriously!

I watched all episodes so far in 2 days. It was about to become one of my favorite dramas this year. And then they go all nuts on us... President Bok Gyu Hyun flipping his sh*t because he found out who Ji Uk really is made me so mad. Like, writing hate comments was bad enough, but he seemed to have sincerely repented and become a much better person. And then he dares to threaten Ji Uk to ruin his family and pay him back for 'all the anguish and pain he and his mother had to go through.' Excuse me, you piece of sh*t, how is ANY of that Ji Uk's fault? How about you grow the f* up and stand up to your father instead of taking it out on someone who grew up unloved and as if he didn't exist in the first place when he did NOTHING wrong?!! Unfortunately I think he'll have a happy ending with Ja Yeon, but I wish she'd end up with her childhood love instead. He's so petty, he doesn't deserve her.

I agree, those scenes were very awkward. At first I thought, because he was 'wrongly-accused', and she saw the original killer (even though not his face), he wanted to talk to her, because he kept saying 'wait, wait' when he was dragged away. But he did attack her quite brutally and overall it was just super messy. The lack of motive for the killer was also a big plot hole, there was no mention of rape. And why the killer came back for the mom just for revenge was also really stupid. She clearly didn't remember him, but he risked being caught just to kill her out of spite? Well, I mean he was a psycho, but still... Would've made more sense if they had perhaps linked him to more cases in the past that made him a serial killer or something. For these reasons I usually don't enjoy mystery webtoons turned drama, unfortunately they are often lacking in that regard, compared to OG dramas or based on novels....

Agreed 100%. The mom shouldn't have joined her. I saw some comments about a S2, maybe that's why they left the romance open...

It seems you might have missed the point in this drama where the young pregnant high school girl (forgot her name), was dragged to the hospital by her mother to have an abortion. While we didn't see it happen, she later came by the police station to ask for sanitary pads, which implies that she's back on her period and had in fact an abortion. Hence why Jin Hee asks her 'Are you all right (with this)?'. So at least in this drama, they did show both options. Also, I wouldn't say it's portrayed as normal, considering how much criticism and hardships both mother and daughter had to deal with. However, I do find it strange that she didn't tell the father about the pregnancy after he moved away. Plus, abortion in South Korea is still a big taboo, of course times are changing, but back when Eun Mi was pregnant with Jin Hee, it was likely not really an option, considering it would have cost a lot of money. She probably received child support from the government, but I don't think they would have paid for an abortion.

I wished we had seen more of Jae Won and Jin Hee as a couple or well, starting to date. For how it was so obvious how much they both liked each other, they separated too easily when Jin Hee started off on her journey (which totally came out of the blue btw). Also, Jae Won was a in a big slump before, he said he put up that poster on the wall and wrote down things whenever he wanted to leave. But then why didn't he? At least for part of the journey, I think it would have been fun/made sense for him to accompany Jin Hee, for his own troubles didn't really seem to be resolved. So romance-wise, the show wasn't really satisfying. I also couldn't whole-heartedly root for the mom and dad, because we didn't get enough of their back story in High school and now it just seemed so awkward with Jin Hee in the picture.

This drama is a sweet and short slice of life, sprinkled with a bit of romance, mystery and plenty of comedy. I loved all the characters, especially the FL's besties. I have to say, while I loved the mom in the beginning, her antics in the middle part became somewhat annoying. It's not even her choices or justifications, but how childishly and selfishly she acted at times. The final episode was a bit of a letdown, I really wanted more closure to Jin Hee and Jae Won's story. More under a spoiler. All in all, a decent watch 8/10

I'm curious, have you seen Doctor Romantic? While it's mostly focused on emergency medicine and surgeries, it's been always my fav medical drama and I've been wondering how well researched it is. I'm not a medical professional, but to me the cases always looked extremely convincing.

I am actually afraid Kang Hun might be the one to end up with her. I mean, I love him, he's really sweet, but he has more chemistry with SFL, and I don't want ML to end up alone...

Ok, but so was the 'healer' gene also found in Kang Hun, or was that actually Yeon Woo? It's confusing.

Episodes 3 and 4 were a bit better, but still all over the place. The science aspect is really ridiculous, I guess you just really have to think of it as pure comedy. I think i'll put it on hold until it finished airing, though, I have a feeling I'm rooting for the wrong guy....

I'm torn with this. The premise is sort of ridiculous and FL's overacting is hard to watch. Some parts were funny, though, and I love Choi Siwon. I just feel like too much happened in the first two episodes, especially the suicidal patient and that rooftop scene were too dramatic for the beginning of a comedy show. I'm not really invested. Guess i'll see how it goes this weekend and then decide.

I watched up until episode 6 and I enjoyed it mostly. Now I sorta feel like I cannot be bothered to finish, which I guess means I didn't love it after all? It's a cute and short romcom, just nothing really special. And I have to say, Jun Ho is like the most delusional and infuriating 'we're supposed to pity him' SML ever. I cannot believe he has the gall to come back all smiley and expect to get back together with her (wait, even be like 'but we never broke up?!'). Dude, no matter what your circumstances were, you treating her like this was just trashy. You tell her the truth and give her the choice to either wait, or break up, you don't ghost somebody you supposedly love, knowing how much you're actually going to scar them. That means your pride is worth more than the other person. Reminded me of 'Another Miss Oh' in that regard, although there I could understand the reasoning a little bit better. Anyway, guess I'll finish at some point when I need something light.

I really loved actor Ji Seung Hyun in WWW, he had such a difficult role there, also as a "cheating" husband but for a good reason. Is FL's husband here a complete jerk, or is there a possibility of the two patching things up/a misunderstanding somewhere? I don't mind spoilers.

I understand a bit better what you mean now, too many things happening at once. Hm, I do agree that the focus isn't enough on ML, especially in ep 4, and the SML/FL scenes were a bit confusing. I still enjoy the show, though, and just hope they find a balance between all the characters and stories. :)
