Title Welcome to Samdal-ri Spoiler
Currently rewatching cause I needed something calm and fun. It's strange how this show can make me feel warm and fuzzy and then at the next moment bring my blood to a boil. That assistant Bang Eun Whatever can just rot in hell for all I care. She's one of the worst people I've ever seen in a drama, and it's hard to see Sam Dal just take it all, she should've stood up for herself, at least after clarifying what happened. She could've sued for defamation, plagiarism, even assault, but she did NOTHING and it really makes me so mad, because what it implies is that it's okay to get treated that way, to consequently just run away. It is NOT okay, and same goes for Yong Pil's father btw. I do feel sorry for him, I really do, but he's not the only one hurting and in mourning, and it just infuriates me how he will disregard anyone else's pain to justify his rage, even going so far as to taking his son's happiness away. Episode 7 broke my heart, my heart was literally ACHING for Yong Pil , so as his father, how could he just sit there while his son crumbles next to him, knowing very well that he himself was the cause?! 18 years sure is a long time to make someone's life miserable....

what does ep17 add to the overall story? is it like an epilogue? spin off?
It's sort of both. It does mention/feature the main characters, but it's primarily a spin off about a side character (handsome police officer) and his first love. I don't really get why they made it. It's cute, but I'd watch until ep 16, then take a break to get the 'drama is over' feeling and then watch ep 17 as a bonus when you miss the drama :)

I was sooo excited about this, and waited until it almost finished airing to start it. First episode was rocky but really engaging and I was expecting a new masterpiece in the making, something different from what we usually get in dramaland. But 4 episodes in and I'm dropping because it's like... really nonsensical. I don't really care for any of the characters, or better said, their struggles up there, because there are too many people involved from the start and the focus is all off. The past of ML and his fiance was more interesting than the entire rest of the drama. There are weird sequences that are of no relevance to the show (like a full minute or so of the twins dreaming about what to do if they win the lottery, which, newsflash, the ticket isn't even theirs). ML is acting like a complete tool 99% of the time, and it makes literally no sense he would risk his life several times in just the first couple of episodes for an IVF experiment that has maybe a 1% chance of working out, PLUS going on a suicide mission for a woman he has known all of a week or so. He has no experience as an astronaut, quite possibly would endanger the mission first when forcing a FIRE ALARM on a space station while everyone's working their butts off to repair the solar penals, and then going out on a SPACE WALK without having ANY idea or plan or even common sense. I have no desire at all to continue watching this, also with all the cheating and betrayal that's about to happen. Disappointment of the year for sure.

before business proposal, while u were sleeping was on 10th spot
It's one of my favorites, it's got suspense, romance, comedy, beautiful cinematography, great music and most importantly: well written and fantastic acting. Some really deep topics as well. Hope you enjoy the rest of the ride!

I was in the mood for something light and funny that I could watch while sewing. Good stuff I watch with my entire focus on the show, but this is just right for background noise, especially as a rewatch. Unfortunately my stance remains that it's just really not that great. From the get go, both leads are getting on my nerves, FL for being extremely gullible and ML for being a bully. The whole premise just doesn't make sense, I get that it's comedy and a drama, but please keep a dose of realism. 1. It was insanely dumb of her to sign a contract under blackmail that would have her pay 100 times the fee as penalty. He threatened her, but what he did was plain stalking. Showing up at her house unannounced, despite her repeatedly telling him she didn't want to do the contract relationship, calling her at 4 AM in the morning, forcing her to meet him whenever he pleased... She didn't have to give in to his ridiculous demands had she reasoned with that in mind. Also, she could have just told him she had a boyfriend who wouldn't be amused about her fake-dating another guy, that would've been enough to get her out of it. Everything here is so forced. How would he/they not recognize her, even if she has a different hairstyle and less makeup, she is OBVIOUSLY the same person. Whenever she tries to not get discovered, her weird antics draw even more attention. It's like she has no common sense, all the 'problems' around the ordeal are made by her stupid choices. And again, yes I do understand it's comedy, but it starts getting bland after using the same trope and joke over an dover again. I love the cast, but the script is sorta meh. 6.5 from me.

Every adult in this show besides the dads are fucking crazy!! Whether its the old ajummas that cant stop gossiping…
Agree 100 percent. I was so mad the entire time and I don't think they resolved the issue of gaslighting and abandonment and 'living for the parents/family' well. It made me change my rating for the drama while I enjoyed the first half of the show.

WTH, who changed the synopsis and why?!! It's like the biggest spoiler ever, it's basically retelling the biggest 'plot twist' in the series and summarizes the second half of the story lol I dunnot how to report this, but someone please change it back to a more generic summary that actually leaves some kind of suspense for the viewer.

Ah yeah sure, sorry about that. Everyone who watched the trailer would've known about the time skip, so I don't actually think it is a spoiler? But I've added the spoiler tag.

Title Healer
I agree about the OST, it didn't really do it for me (but I know a lot of people love it.) I first watched Healer…
It's true that she had that picture, but as you said, it's impossible to tell much from it, perhaps you could narrow it down to a guy between 20 and 50, but that's about it. But she told Bong Su that she had had a crush on the guy even before she got that picture, just from the mere rumor of how amazing he was. And think about it, the way he approached her from the beginning was quite creepy and unsettling, he cornered her in the bathroom, took a nail clipping and had her in a strong hold, breathing down her neck. As viewers the way it was filmed, because we knew it was Ji Chang Wook, who's super handsome and we know Healer is a decent guy, we would think 'oh my, what a scene'. But if I imagine myself to be in her shoes, it's actually frightening as hell. Any way, regardless of whether she knew his age or whatever, I still think it's ridiculous to get them into some kind of relationship where she hasn't seen him or talked to him properly.

if not for last episode i would rate it a perfect 10.
I actually wonder if it was supposed to be 16 episodes only, and 17 was an extra. That's how I've decided to view it and recommend everyone to expect the ending at 16.

I actually don't think he meant it in a romantic way. At least I hope, I wasn't too sure, but later on he said he liked 'noona', so is sister-in-law, as well. So I think when he said there's a girl at the door whom he likes, he didn't mean it in a romantic way. It would be really weird, considering she was 5 years old when he last saw her.

I enjoyed this series, I was search for the romcom, but can't say this drama was romantic in the first place.…
For realistic and passionate romance, you should watch 'Lovestruck in the City'. Chang Wook is an architect who loves to surf, and seriously so hot in that one. First episode starts a bit weird, but it's one of my favorite slice-of-life dramas. I watch it once a year in summer.

Title Healer Spoiler

ending was really rushed, they didn't even address the secretary or Mun Sik, or any of the other bad guys that were working with the Old Man (like inside the police and people in much higher places) and with all the connections Old Man was supposedly having, he could've probably weaseled his way out of this one. Besides, it wasn't properly explained why Healer let himself be manipulated with that ridiculous 'confession' video, when he could've just taken back his word (he never confessed while being interrogated) and said he was threatened (something which Yeong Sin and MunHo could've attested to), and he should've secretly filmed the screen where they showed them held captive, or recorded the phone call or something. I suppose it was still a risk, because they could've fabricated evidence or killed him while in custody like they did with his father and master, but it just wasn't really explained very well. Also, it's not like the video just disappeared, they said Bong Su was an assassin, but his face in the video confession was obviously a different one. There were just too many lose ends, I also would've liked to see better endings for the side characters. Sol, yeah, final episode was somewhat disappointing....

Title Healer
I rewatched healer after a good ten years or so, and I have to say I'm quite conflicted. Back then I gave it a rating of 9, and while I won't change my rating now, my views have changed somewhat. Of course the acting, OST and general setup are still fantastic. The idea of 'Healer' as a man for hire, working with a genius hacker, doing all sorts of shady jobs is great, it just didn't live up to what it could've been because it focused too much on pointless romance. And I say that as someone who needs a sprinkle of romance in all my dramas, or at least good chemistry. I mean, let's think about it, FL has a huge crush on a gun for hire, a dangerous man she has only heard RUMORS of. But she doesn't even know his face, his age, his ethics, she hasn't talked to him, he could've been an old af creep, for heaven's sake. Their 'relationship' progresses into some sort of dating fantasy where they go on fake dates, even kiss, and yet YET she has never seen him or had an actual conversation with him. So I think they should've made FL fall in love with ML's Bong Su persona, instead of having her madly infatuated with Healer, defying all reason. Oh well, maybe I'm just too old for this now, I suppose when I watched it in my teens, it made me swoon. As an adult, I'm like: wtf? I also did not like that the ending felt extremely rushed (more under a spoiler). Ah, and the 'Eternal Love' song, was often extremely out of place for some action scenes, it made me think of Elton John smashing some Disney Songs lol As I said, I won't change the rating, but for todays standards it'd probably be more of an 8 or so. Still worth watching if you enjoy action mixed with romance, though.

I am halfway through the drama (trying to complete it for the third time) and all I can say is that I have a love-hate relationship with it. I love the actors, I love realistic stories, I love the mood and the cinematography. But at the same time, it feels like pulling teeth. It's just.... so frustrating. I think this would've made an exceptional 2 hour movie, or perhaps a short drama like 'Nevertheless'. But 8 episodes in (full hour episodes, so 16 if you count half), and basically NOTHING happened. I could understand Jeong In's reluctance in the beginning, you don't just end such a long relationship on a whim or fleeting feeling. However, between episode 5 and 8, it was just painful to watch, the constant back and forth, maybe/maybe not, never actually spelling anything out, and in my opinion this is where the deception happened (because before that it was nothing, just a thought, the realization that maybe you are wavering and feelings have changed...). The moment she made up her mind to end it with her bf should've been the end of that, but she selfishly led the two guys on, and dragged it out. She never even told her bf a reason when she tried to end it, or no real reason anyway. 'I fell out of love', it's as simple as that, it's a legitimate reason that nobody should be able to defy. And then suddenly Ji Ho talks about 'loving her', like actually 'sarang', not just I like you, or I have feelings for you, but 'SARANGHAE'. Excuse me, you haven't even gone out on a date, or kissed, you haven't even talked more than a couple of times, you basically know NOTHING about each other. I just find it baffling and unbelievable and I just hope the second half will be better than the first. I am all for slow-burn, but this is like... nonsensical.

Thanks for recommending to check YT, I'll keep my fingers crossed it's still on there. It's too bad netflix keeps dropping really good dramas...
