I'm starting it, and from the comments, it seems that they haven't broken up yet. So, are they going to break up for like three or four episodes and then get back together in the last 10 minutes before the ending? 😭

This is a comment that I saw some days ago and I really liked their take on the ML's character : Saw some very early comments about why Fu Mingyu talked arrogantly to Ruan Sixian while they were mid air. It is self explanatory. Nevertheless let me do this. The conversation that Fu overheard before boarding- "Ruan Sixian-What are you chatting about? Cabin crew- They're discussing how to outsmart Fu Ming Yu. Ruan Sixian- Outsmart him? For what? Cabin crew- Haven't you heard? That fair-skinned flight attendant of ours. She's about to get engaged to the son of Zhengxi Steel's chairman. Unbelievable, right? I heard they first met on a flight.Yeah, they fell in love at first sight. That's how they ended up together. Ruan, didn't you have a lot to say to Mr. Fu? He just happened to choose our flight.It's fate. You've got to seize the opportunity." He was already annoyed that they were gossiping and thinking about ways to get his attention. It doesn't help much if she then tries to hand over the 'pink envelope' to him when there were several eyes looking at them. Not to mention even the child thought so and said " sister you have dropped the love letter!"
Indeed Fu Mingyu was ethically right in not accepting or reading the letter (seal wasn't broken) as it wasn't an official meeting and who knows it could easily become a source of gossip or even a scandal if it gets to media. He is right in being cautious about it.
The scene at the yacht. Now that's not a party ordinary flight attendants could attend. Hence it added to his assumption that she was really a gold digger. It didn't stop at that! She still tried to give the pink envelope 🤦♀️. Then the consequence. Would he have fired her if she hadn't resigned? What do you think?Now this is set for character building. For Ruan Sixian, as a woman with self respect, she feels humiliated and resigns, she doesn't take it as a hindrance to her ambition to become a pilot but as a challenge and she achieves with her grit and determination. For Fu Mingyu, to see the same girl return stronger and better was a tight slap. He recognises his blind biases and assumptions, faces his flaws, humbles himself and apologises in the later episodes. He was probably arrogant to her in that scenario but despite an aristocratic upbringing and being in an elite position it has not been shown anywhere in the show that he was flamboyant, inconsiderate, disrespectful or full of attitude. In the later episodes it is clear that he cares much about the company and his employees and has a wider vision.
Why he can't recognise her after 3years? Strange as it may sound, it isn't totally abnormal for a busy CEO to not remember an employee whom he had come across on that one occasion at close quarters? Tbh all flight attendants wear the same uniform and accessories. Isn’t it difficult to identify them especially if you are busy with your own things. But I don’t know if it is the direction or Wei Zheming's acting, there are some scenes which do give him that feeling that he had seen her somewhere but he just couldn't piece them together. What are the chances of a flight attendant returning to the same airline as a pilot? 🙂
