I'm so happy that the rumours were true! After Zhenni left her company, I was afraid that perhaps she couldn't be able to take a main role but thankfully I was worried for nothing. Sun Zhenni and Yu Cheng En sounds like a good pair ♥️♥️

Oh, I didn't want to discourage someone from watching the drama when I wrote this comment 😅😅 the drama is very realistic, it shows the age differences in rural areas and how difficult it is to leave behind the old stereotypical ways of living and to embrace the new. It also highlights how important it is for women to be strong and stand firm to their ground and have high standards and for men how important it is to have faith in their beloved ones and to their own capabilities. But yeah, after all it can make your blood boil, so perhaps it isn't to your tastes.

I would like to share some of my thoughts after watching the first four episodes.The central issue revolves around the bride price. The female lead has made it clear that she doesn't want one. She would rather combine her savings with her boyfriend's so they can build their life together. Her family, however, insists that the groom's family should at least provide a house and a car.On one hand, I understand Xiao Fang's perspective. However, this entire situation has also revealed the kind of family she would be marrying into. The male lead's family may not be wealthy, but they certainly have enough money to help their son start a family. The problem is that they simply don't want to contribute. On top of that, the father says things like, "Put her in her place" and "Make her obey you," which clearly shows the kind of family dynamic they expect.They also try to take advantage of the fact that Xiao Fang is already in her third trimester of pregnancy, assuming that she has no choice but to marry Xiao Wei if she doesn't want her child to be labeled a "bastard" in their small village.The final straw is the male lead himself. He never protects her from the rumors surrounding her, nor does he stand up for her in front of his parents. I understand that he's under immense pressure, but so is the female lead. His silence and indecisiveness make him a coward.At this point, I honestly hope the female lead breaks up with him. His family is trying to exploit her situation, her family's savings and her pregnancy, while he can't even stand up for the woman he supposedly loves.

My ears will seriously start bleeding from the things the lead's families are saying, especially Qi Xiao Wei's .

I'm still watching the last episodes, but I think that the story is just dragging now. The drama was very good actually from episode 26, but they left too many episodes imo for the last arc, so things got draggy and repeated. I'm literally abusing the fast forward button and still feel like things stay the same. It's honestly such a shame because I really liked it.
