okay the spoiling:
so both girls 1. the childhood friend of peter ho's character - who mutually like each other and she is more reserved and
2. the princess of the country- spoiled rotten , always wants to get her way, but has fallen in love with peter ho's character
decide to switch faces by some magical "make up" - ancient plastic surgery i guess.

The princess wants to feel the real "love" that peter ho has girl one.
Girl one wants to use the princess influence to save her family because someone in the govt is framing her family and telling the king lies.

a bunch of political stuff happens and the switch is found out..
65 eps later
the bad guy is put away..

the ending is bittersweet-
peters character ends with with his true love- girl one
the princess ends up with girl one's brother -- somehow fall in love with each other
peters's sister ends up some other guy from another family (stuff to drag out the 66 eps)
and peters brother ends up with some girl (more 66 eps drag out)

but all the boys leave at the end to go off to war..
and thats how they end the 66 eps..

i dont know how to not only spoil part of the post. so i am going to post another one after this that spoils the plot etc. I thought this show did not need 66 episodes. I really like peter ho.. but what was he thinking agreeing to this series. There was quite a bit of who is who but i give girls credit because they each had to act 2 different personalities throughout the series.
I would only watch it if you are really bored..

very lighthearted, which it as an entertainment piece. would be nice to have a season 3, but i hear that might not happen.

finished this.. i think its an okay show to watch if there is nothing to watch. Its meant for a younger generation viewer because things got repeative fast. It got kinda annoying watching the pupils change whenever the male character starts to change to the other personality.

i really like HXM.. but i cannot continue this.. been skipping fast fwd things and currently in eps 15. Its like romeo and juliet in chinese. The actor and actress and gorgeous, the acting is subpar,.. the cgi is way too much..
but the story line doesnt save all that. I dont know how they made 50 something eps of this but so far i think i can tell it in 16.
I'll probably skip around some more and end up at 50 in a few hours.

amazing, cgi for what cgi should b used for. grear atcing by all the leads.

slow moving at first , but then so good. the ending was very different from what i had thought would happen. the male actors acting skill was really good. overall i would watch it again

this story is more abt the school aspects. it is rather slow but picks up in the middle. i like how the main characters are more real. usually with these school dramas, the guys are genius that dont study and the girls are just not smart, but in this case they really both need to study.
there has been a lot thoughts abt the ending. this is my take of it.

it was an open ending, but you knew where it was going to go. as in real life, closure doesnt happen that quickly. i have a feeling they atleast know where each others position is at. she alraedy told him she liked him, but i think he isnt able to say anything bc he doesnt know what will happen and whether he can give her a future. It sounded like he was going to give his mom one of his kidneys, so that might be the reason why. But hes open for the possibility esp after all the old text messages. so thats why i think there is a future. just my take on things.

2nd lead is better looking than 1st and treats the main character better.. and the 2nd lead doesnt get a happy ending either.. very annoying
