PLOT: Bohn, a popular (and feared) senior in Engineering, takes advantage of Duen (a kind, polite, and inept first-year medical student) during an incident, just for fun. He asks Duen to bring him a flower every morning. As they meet, Bohn falls in love with Duen and does everything he can to win him over.
Rom 2: King (Engineering) and Ram (Duen's friend, very introverted, crazy about plants) => By far the cutest romance!!
Rom 3: Boss (in complete denial, wants to be straight, tries to flirt with every girl) and Mek (his inseparable friend, secretly in love with Boss)

+++ Some strong and attractive characters (on-screen) : Cooper, Talay, and Perth, mainly. I can't wait to see them in other series.

### The narration is slow at times, and the OSTs are too intrusive. The story is empty, poorly-written.
### Duen's attitude (I want to? I don't want to? I don't know anymore...) is annoying, even frustrating. I understand he has insecurities, but this is too much!

### The female characters (Ting Ting, King's sister, the "BL groupies") are quite ridiculous. Why are there so few well-developed female characters in BL?

Rom2 : King (ingénerie) et Ram (ami de Duen, très introverti, fou de plantes) => De loin la romance la + mignonne !!

A kawaii series, but with an annoying "ideal Japanese" FL.

PLOT: FL arrives in a new department (Sales) and encounters hostility, even malice, from her colleagues. However, ML (the head of IT, on whom she's had a crush for two years) discreetly helps her. One evening, she finds herself locked out (keys inaccessible) and he takes her in (he share an appartment with the head of Sales). ML (very introverted, almost autistic) and FL grow closer, confess their mutual love, and face their problems together. HE.

+++ Fujii Ryusei (but with a щ(ಠ益ಠщ) щ(ಠ益ಠщ) hairstyle) as ML
+++ A fairly realistic story that addresses workplace harassment, forced alcohol at numerous team dinners, etc.
+++ For once, quite a lot of kisses and skinship.

### Konno Ayaka is undoubtedly a good actress, but she always plays the same role (the Japanese ideal woman): submissive, hardworking, forgiving, clingy... stupid!!
### The OSTs are too Japanese for me.

=> A series to pass the time, not memorable either. The producers should give the actors the opportunity to have more substantial roles!

Cpdt, le ML (chef du service informatique, sur lequel elle a 1 crush depuis 2 ans), lui vient en aide discrètement. Un soir, elle se retrouve à la porte (clefs inaccessibles) et il l'héberge chez lui (colocataire, chef du service Ventes). Le ML (très introverti limite autiste) et la FL vont se rapprocher, s'avouer leur amour mutuel et affronter ensemble les pbs. HE.

+++ Fujii Ryusei (mais avec 1 coiffure щ(ಠ益ಠщ) щ(ಠ益ಠщ) en ML
+++ Story à peu près réaliste, qui aborde le harcèlement au travail, l'alcool forcé ds les nbreux diners d'équipe, etc.

### Slow direction, with ridiculous twists, a wacky, even absurd tone. This wants to be a comedy, but it failed.
### Empty and poorly written story.
### Unbearable series even in FF.

=> Please, stop wasting the actors'talent and resources on scripts like these!!

A very Japanese romantic series (with a frustrating FL, in my opinion)

PLOT: FL & ML were close in high school (ML was bullied, overweight, and unrecognizable back then), but she rejected him, and he left. 12+ years later the FL meets up with the ML . He's now the CEO of the company where she works. The ML proposes the FL to be his fake girlfriend: so she could take revenge on her cheating boyfriend, and he wants to get rid of a potential fiancée. But they both have toxic mothers. The ML's mother will do everything she can to separate them.

+++ Suzuki Jin is handsome and talented.
+++ The story is fairly realistic. Dynamic direction.
+++ The OST is well-suited.

### The FL character is UNBEARABLE. Japanese writers love this type of woman: submissive, silent, hardworking, who forgives everyone everything, lets herself be embraced even by those she hates... (ಠ益ಠщ) In short, a jellyfish (without a skeleton, nerves, or brain)!
What level of misogyny do you need to reach, to have, in the same series, two toxic mothers, one "jellyfish" FL, one jealous best friend who steals the boyfriend, and, to top it all off, a stalker and psycho fiancée??

### I know it's cultural, but the "we forgive everything, even years of suffering, abandonment, and manipulation" because we're family... NO!

=> Some might find it cute and romantic, but I came away from this series angry and frustrated.

A disappointing final installment of the "Love Syndrome" series with a different cast

PLOT: Itt and Day have been a couple for three years. But Day has a car accident and doesn't recognize Itt, having lost his memory of those three years and reverting to his violent self. With infinite patience, Itt takes care of him while he waits for his memory to return (a few love rivals and a villain lurking in the shadows).

+++ I really like Lee Long Shi. I'm OK with Franck, but here, Franck has a terrible hairstyle. Furthermore, the chemistry is far from obvious: Franck gives dead-fish kisses, and the couple doesn't seem comfortable in intimate scenes.
+++ Overall, the cast is good, even if some could improve their acting skills.
+++ Good OSTs, but sometimes the volume is excessive (a common flaw in "lakorns"?)

### The storytelling is a bit slow, with unnecessary scenes and characters. The series would have been better with only 8 episodes. The numerous flashbacks (some very repetitive) also weigh down the narrative.
### Very bad fight scenes: all we see is the choreography :)
### The amnesia storyline is too long and poorly developed.
### Itt's trauma related to driving is inconsistent, and above all, incomprehensible: he hasn't personally experienced a traumatic accident (☆_@)
### The director wanted to maintain the [I'll rape/mistreat and abuse you, but you'll still fall in love with me] premise of the novel and the film, but it's a twisted/perverse idea, and here, it's clumsily executed.

In short, my friend FF helped me finish it!

=> For me, a rather disappointing series (watched once, certainly not twice!)

Suite et fin de la série "Love Syndrome" avec un cast différent.

### La narration est un peu lente, avec des scènes et des personnages inutiles. La série aurait été mieux avec 8 épisodes. Les nbreux flashbacks (certains très répétitifs) alourdissent aussi la narration.
### Très mauvaises scènes de fight : on ne voit que la chorégraphie :)
### L'arc narratif de l'amnésie est trop long et mal exploité.
### Le trauma de Itt par rapport à la conduite de voiture, est inconstant, et surtt, incompréhensible : il n'a pas subi lui-mm d'accident traumatisant (☆_@)
### Le réalisateur a voulu garder l'optique [je te viole / maltraite et abuse de toi, mais tu vas tomber amoureux de moi qd même] du roman et du film, mais c'est tordu / pervers comme idée, et ici, exécuté de façon maladroite.

Vampire Plot with Boun & Prem, with blood but without chemistry

PLOT: The MC, Punn, an antique restorer, awakens a vampire, Ramil, sealed away for 100 years in a painting, with a single drop of his blood. But Ramil, awakened, has lost his powers. He is the last of the Original vampires. He has three vampire brothers: Methas, a wealthy hotel CEO; Mek, now a doctor; and Ciar, the "master" of a cult. For the past 10 years (since a tragedy at the orphanage where Punn lived), the Hunters have killed all the Original vampires and are trying to kill those who remain.

+++ Superb cast: Boun, Prem, Mark, and a bunch of great actors
+++ Dynamic direction, with no dull moments, high-quality effects, and a good balance of emotions (mystery, suspense, humor, and a touch of romance).
+++ Coherent story, no plot holes
+++ Good OSTs (why are the OSTs in Thai BLs so much better than in Lakorns??)

### Prem is clearly not comfortable with kissing or intimate scenes. And it shows! Romance isn't this series' strong point.

Drawn to each other like magnets, they start dating and discover that they both frequently have dreams (nightmares?) about Intouch and Korn [excerpts from their past lives]. Dean wants to know more and investigates.

+++ Reincarnation storyline is fairly coherent
+++ Good cast, with a bunch of talented actors : Ohm & Fluke / Kao & Earth / Boun & Prem, and the support cast is good too.
+++ Pleasant OSTs, not too intrusive

### The narration is a bit slow, with an almost 50/50 alternation between past and present in each episode.

### Pharm spends all his time crying, even in irrational circumstances (reuniting with In's niece, for example). Fluke is very good at crying, but the amount is excessive! In was much stronger mentally than Pharm, plus, the latter has an unbearable prudishness and sometimes completely unreasonable behavior... It's frustrating when the MC becomes annoying!!

=> BL recommended by everyone. So I had high expectations and I was a little bit disappointed.

PLOT: Intouch et Korn s'aiment, mais l'homosexualité est mal vue en 1980-90, et qd leurs pères veulent les séparer, Korn se suicide et Intouch le suit.
30 ans + tard, Pharm, étudiant et aimant la pâtisserie, croise le chemin de Dean, étudiant star et Président du club de natation. Attirés l'un par l'autre comme des aimants, ils sortent ensemble et découvrent que chacun d'eux fait fréquemment des rêves (cauchemars ?) avec Intouch et Korn [extraits de leurs vies antérieures]. Dean veut en savoir plus et enquête.

+++ Story réincarnation à peu près cohérente
+++ Bon cast, avec a bunch of talented actors
+++ OSTs agréables, pas trop intrusifs

### Narration un peu lente, avec une alternance (presque moitié-moitié) du passé et du présent dans chq épisode.
### Pharm passe tt son temps à pleurer, y compris ds des circonstances irrationnelles (retrouvailles avec la nièce de In, par ex.). Fluke est très bon en pleurs, mais la dose est excessive ! In était bcp plus fort mentalement que Pharm, de plus, celui-ci a une pruderie insupportable et des comportements parfois complètement déraisonnables ... C'est frustrant qd le MC devient agaçant !!

=> BL recommandée par tous. J'avais donc des attentes et j'ai été un peu déçue.

+++ The actors are young but talented, especially Yu Sin and Park Dong Ju (who has a very natural acting style). I'm looking forward to seeing more of their series.
+++ Perfectly executed (on a small budget). Intelligent story, complete despite the series' short length.

+++ Les acteurs sont jeunes mais talentueux, particulièrement Yu Sin et Park Dong Ju (qui a 1 jeu très naturel). J'attends de voir la suite de leurs séries.
+++Réalis° parfaitement maitrisée (avec un petit budget). Story intelligente, complète malgré la durée minimale de la série.

Almost a documentary about Bangkok youth

PLOT: The daily lives, friendships, hobbies, and romances of (ordinary) Bangkok high school students, following the journey of Fou4mod (a high school student, musician, who has a crush on Chian, a high school student who loves nail art, and Bua, a TikToker).

+++ The actors are very young, but talented.

*** The unique aspect of this series is its very contemporary style. The pace is intense, the settings are mainly the streets of Bangkok and the Siam Square, and we spend a lot of time on the subway, the BTS, and in tuk-tuks. The passersby are "normal," looking more at their smartphones than at their neighbors, etc. The houses are incredibly cluttered, even messy, like real homes!

*** The story focuses on youth, teenagers, first loves, intensive smartphone use (shopping, social media, videos & posts, playlists, ChatGPT, etc.), the importance of appearance, youth's trial and error, and sometimes, experiences more or less difficult to navigate.

+++ The OSTs are fantastic.

=> An unusual, refreshing, and relevant series.

+++ Les acteurs sont très jeunes, mais talentueux.

*** La particularité de cette série, c'est la réalisation très actuelle. Le rythme est intense, les décors sont surtt les rues de Bangkok et le quartier de Siam Square, on passe du temps dans le métro, dans le BTS, les tuk-tuk. Les passants sont "normaux", regardant plus leur smartphone que leur voisin. Etc. Les maisons sont hyper-encombrée voire bordéliques, comme des logements où on vit vraiment !

*** La story est axée sur la jeunesse, les ados, les 1ers amours, l'usage intensif du smartphone (achats, réseaux sociaux, vidéos & posts, playlists, ChatGPT, etc.), l'importance du look, les tâtonnements, les expériences plus ou moins difficiles à vivre.

PLOT: Tian Xiang saves a little girl on his way to a job interview. The manager, Lin Xiao Nan, fires him for being late. However, Xiao Nan contacts Tian Xiang after learning he saved her sister. She demands Tian Xiang's presence. The two men grow closer (despite Tian Xiang's ex and his schemes), win matches, and become a family.

+++ The visuals are beautiful and the format is very short.

### Everything rings false: mediocre acting, but above all, a poorly written story, full of clichés, irrational character behavior, and overly obvious plot twists...
### Is it because of the format? Weird editing with abrupt cuts, no flow or transitions.
### Obviously a very limited budget: few sets, few costumes, few outdoor scenes, etc.
### Excessive product placement.

Cpdt, XiaoNan recontacte Tian Xiang en apprenant qu'il a sauvé sa sœur. Celle-ci exige la présence de Tian Xiang à ses côtés. Les 2 hommes vont se rapprocher (malgré l'ex de Tian Xiang et ses ruses), gagner des matchs et devenir une famille.

+++ Les images sont belles et le format très court.

### Tout sonne faux : acting moyen, mais surtout story mal écrite, bourrée de clichés, comportements des personnages irrationnel, twists trop évidents ...
### A cause du format ? Edition weird avec coupures impromptues, pas d'enchainement ni de transition
### Budget visiblement très limité : peu de décors, peu de costumes, peu d'extérieurs, etc.
### Placements de produits abusifs.

Ils nouent des liens, s'apprécient de + en +, et finissent par se mettre en couple pour de bon. Rest à se faire accepté par les amis, les love rivals et la famille ...

Highly rated BL, but the ending is a bit disappointing.

PLOT: Jom, an architect, renovates an old house and stumbles upon strange things. At this time, his lover, returns after two years to announce his marriage (his girlfriend is pregnant). Drunk and desperate, Jom has a car accident and falls into the river. He finds himself in 1920, taken in by Ming, a servant in an aristocratic family. Yai, the son of this family, takes him under his wing as a butler (and as his lover). But being LGBT+ and/or a servant in that era is tough!

+++ Bright and Nonkul are fantastic ლ(´◉❥◉｀ლ): sensitive, subtle, with superb chemistry.
+++ The era is well described, the mentalities, the very harsh living conditions (especially for servants and women).
+++ Flawless execution: not just the sets and costumes—props, jewelry, etc.—but the cinematography with its filter, pacing, alternation of emotions, and suspense maintained until the very end. Kudos!

Mame's BL => Good starting plot, but loses its way

PLOT: Namnuea is a wedding planner. He meets Sailom and his fiancée Yiwa as clients. However, the two fiancés don't seem very interested in the wedding, and Sailom takes every opportunity to see and flirt with Namnuea. The truth about this marriage (a cover for Yiwa, a lesbian with a girlfriend since 13 years, and Sailom, who's gay) gradually becomes clearer. How will the two girls and the two men (all lovers) manage the situation?

+++ Some of the psychological analyses of the characters seem relevant, but their behavior is deeply irritating.
+++ The actors give their all to bring this story to life, but it just doesn't hold up :(

### The tone, the caricatured characters... Yiwa, super selfish, takes every advantage of the situation without thinking about the harm she does to others. Nothing seems right !

Cute and fantasy series starring Keen and Sea

PLOT: Two childhood friends and neighbors, J and Jinn, have always bickered and hated each other, despite being inseparable. They attend a fashion school (sewing and design) and have the same group of friends. After an accident, J begins having visions/premonitory dreams, including one in which he sees Jinn's death. He then becomes aware of his feelings for Jinn and will do everything he can to change what he sees in his dreams.

+++ Keen and Sea, novice actors, have a bright future ahead of them.
+++ A charming second romance, and I really love the chemistry between Java and Surf.
+++ A coherent story and dynamic direction.

### The school section is completely unbelievable: a majority of boys in this type of program, sketches on models that don't progress from the beginning to the end of the series, etc.
### The fantasy section could have been better developed.

=> A nice series for discovering Keen & Sea, cute, but not memorable either.

PLOT: 2 amis d'enfance / voisins, J et Jinn, se chamaillent et se détestent depuis tjs., bien qu'ils soient inséparables. Ils sont ds 1 école de mode (couture, design) et ont le mm gpe d'amis. Après 1 accident, J commence à avoir des visions / rêves prémonitoires, notamment ds lesquels il voit la mort de Jinn. Il prend alors conscience de ses sentiments pr Jinn, et va tt faire pr changer ce qu'il voit ds ses rêves.

+++ Keen et Sea, acteurs novices, ont un bel avenir devant eux.
+++ Romance 2aire attachante et j'aime bcp l'alchimie entre Java et Surf.
+++ Story cohérente et réalis° dynamique.

### La partie Ecole n'est pas du tout crédible : une majorité de garçons ds ce type d'études, des ébauches sur des mannequins qui ne progressent pas du début à a fin de la série, etc.
### La partie Fantaisy aurait pu être mieux exploitée.

=> Série sympa pr la découverte de Keen & Sea, cute, mais pas mémorable non plus.

Disappointing Season 2

PLOT: Our two heroes, supposed to be a couple, are now on two different film sets (with potential love rivals). Furthermore, Akafuji is too in love to even touch Hajime, who ends up having doubts.

### What was funny in Season 1 becomes annoying and tiresome: unspoken words, irrational behavior, overacting, crude plot twists, over-the-top internal monologues, etc.

=> Season 1 had potential, but Season 2 failed to deliver. What a waste!

PLOT: Nos 2 héros, censés être en couple, sont maintenant ds 2 tournages différents (avec des love rivals potentiels). De plus, Akafuji est trop amoureux pr oser même toucher Hajime , qui finit par douter.

### Ce qui était comique ds la S1, devient agaçant et pénible : non-dits, comportements irrationnels, acting surjoué, twists grossiers, dialogues intérieurs over-the-top, etc.

=> La S1 avait du potentiel, la S2 ne l'a pas réussi. Dommage !
