Because the implication is that the dream arc isn’t random/some coincidence when they were looking for the white dragon and the viewers wouldn’t have been confused….. with that whole face thing? So for example did you notice the 2 demons helpers, the female and the male…. Do you know who I’m talking about? The one that appeared in the episode…. Yesterday again…

Basically wot I’m trying to say is, the author wrote everything all inter-connected…. And I think people who recognised the 2 helpers, that’s how they discovered it themselves. So those two are the ones that appeared in Episode 1 at the start and they were also the same people in Ming Ye’s dream.

Yes, and he should have Leo Luo’s face which is why it was hidden behind a mask the entire time. Because having TTJ battle with a TTJ who is Ming Ye with the same face is….. confusing for viewers…..? Actually I don’t know if this is meant to be a spoiler… I actually think for someone who is watching from episode 1… maybe? I don’t know. I don’t really know if the intention of the screenwriter was he/she wanted us to discover it on our own or…… they will explicitly reveal it later….? Btw, if you are confused about this, because I was… coz I also only realised it today when someone else in MDL replied my thread, actually you should take note that in the dream, there is a bigger meaning to it, the demon Lord in the mask is actually TTJ. And people in MDL has coined the term Demon Lord 1.0 for the guy in the mask….

basically the demon Lord in the mask in the dream should have Leo Luo’s face and Ming Ye should have a different face, the same goes for the 3 of them.

Ah yes, he really did know about it before. That’s why I was a bit surprised when he acted so shock when they were in mid-air!

But some of my Caucasian friends and colleagues also told me it is more of an Asian thing for some reason… we’ve analysed it before and think it’s related to education and family/cultural upbringing.

I think our generation is already luckier because of the awareness of gender bias, disparity etc… it will take a lot of time to change social norm.

But like why would I want to stay with that person forever if it’s always about getting even with you, punishing you etc. That is legit madness.

Exactly. But I know in psychology there is this a real thing that stems from women’s innate motherly love that out of reflex responses and maternal hormones they just want to “save” people… like kids, helpless people, the sick etc etc.

I don’t think YXW loves him per her own standards and I think TTJ loves her per HIS standards but that is by no means an average being’s standards….. regardless of modern times or xianxia world. 🤣

Yeap, I totally didn’t like the novel… at all. Also found the whole bit with him and YBC superb turn-off, she’s like her half-sister. They grew up tog, related by blood. Like how sick is that…. Ewww!

I don’t really get why some people who watch the series feel she’s harsh though (regardless of the novel)….. she has been chasing him around the whole time, putting in so much time, effort and energy… also not to mention like she genuinely cared for and had compassion for him from the moment she opened her eyes as YXW…. But then wot has the ML done for her…. Nothing much no? I mean even the fox also asked him, like wot did you do for her? Did you give her loadsa stuff? He was kinda pitiful AFTER she died, but I think YQY, her brother, made a very good point…. “She didn’t want what you gave, and what she did want, you were never willing to fulfill. She just wanted to leave you, and for that, she sacrificed so much, do you really not understand?”

I mean the only thing I can think of is he brought her family to Jing, but even with that it wasn’t coz of her, it’s coz he needed to get YQY to work for him without any worries. The Empress thing…..? But that’s even more messed up, he didn’t even want an Empress to begin with. He didn’t need to sacrifice/compromise anything to give her that…

I actually think it’s because a lot of people admire and find Mr. Leo Luo superb dashing and charming…… 🤣🤣🤣 coz if you step back and objectively look at their relationship solely based on the drama, I seriously don’t understand why she’s harsh though… which part……? I actually think she’s too kind and gentle…… imagine if it wasn’t Leo Luo… I mean… 😒 like if this was some Tom, Dick or Harry in a modern day relationship…. Wouldn’t most girls just tell him to piss off…..?
