No worries. Oh I didn’t actually think she’s hurtful, in fact I was quite impressed she kept her promise and actually told him why she did wot she did and who she was…. So I was surprised in the novel she didn’t and then she just died like that.

I do agree with one of the other members who posted that basically she doesn’t love him yet/it’s non-romantic, so she’s just a lot more logical and straightforward. I do agree with the novel’s words though, if I was a girl, I would have thought that everything is kinda ridiculous by the end of it.

Poor QingYu… and the actor, as much as he was a relative “newbie” actor… was so solid. I was actually so sad watching was his scenes, as opposed to Leo Luo’s scenes.

The whole ill-fated destiny/relationship was a “hurt” even from the get go, she knew all along, he didn’t…. Which is the really unfortunate thing…. And in that sense, unfair. It wasn’t so simple as a person “changing”… so she knew all along that he has something literally embedded in him that makes him the epitome of evil. I actually think it’s because of her Taoism belief, her gentle/kind nature that already made her accept the entire relationship very optimistically.

I did a bit of searching on this Sun Zhen Ni person because I find her looks quite unique for a Mainland celebrity, I think she’s super attractive. 😍 She started off as a singing idol, like some reality idol group thingy…. But she knows she wants to act so she actually got accepted to all 3 top acting schools in Mainalnd, like from all the write-ups, she’s got quite the talent for acting… AND… she’s apparently 1/4 German…
