Lol, I know of good CGI…. Similar standards and high attention to detail on the colour gradient…. Ah… also the production sets. 1. Love between Fairy and Devil - doesn’t have that much hand-to-hand combat… 🤔, but the CGI was really like wow. 2. Listening Snow Tower- this had like a jaw dropping set and like some legit actions scenes…. But it suffers from an average plot/screenwriting… well at least I remembered it became weird… 3. Snow Sword Stride - I actually think this was one of the best… balanced in all the requirements…. And I actually thought it was much better than this series whilst being quite similar to it. So this is one of my all time favourite Mainland TV series aside from JoL and some others. CGI was solid, but wasn’t as dreamy as this one, more realistic. Really solid martial arts as well. 4. Duoluo Continent - This is actually also very similar to this series. About a bunch of youths, different levels/phases of martial arts, lotsa good fighting but the differences are….. The CGI of this one is closely related to animals because their cultivation is tied to nature, there is no political theme, production budget isn’t as high….

It’s basically a backup plan. I.e when the new emperor rules and if he turns out to be a horrible emperor, a neutral 3rd party would be able to revolt and replace the emperor. The 2nd decree was meant to be for the Astronomical Dept. Or that State Preceptor dude…. It unexpectedly fell into Xiao Se hands because of the eunuch.
It could also be another backup viewed differently, I.e if Xiao Se doesn’t use the decree he has at hand at all, the State Preceptor will be able to nominate the new Emperor with the 2nd one. Hence, an indication that Xiao Se decided to become the emperor…. Thus answering the late Emperor’s question before his passing.

Oh gosh, I felt the exact same way with My Mister. I just really couldn’t get into it. Are you only into K-dramas? How about C-dramas? If you are alright, I recommend Meet Yourself. Less artsy/abstract and less metaphorical…. But the themes are similar; thought provoking, self-reflection and super realistic.

Yea, I noticed it in SSS already and I thought it was a bit much… but right now his entire frame is so small….. I mean for a girl that’s already borderline, I can kinda understand with the whole wanting to wear dresses, the whole women’s fashion thing. Body hugging, silhouette etc…
But com’on.. a guy can’t look good in a suit with sucha small frame. Wot on Earth is the motivation behind??? So damn weird…. Yea, defo not healthy, emaciated for sure.
And he was never big or even broad or anything to begin with…. JoL was prob the best.
I have to say Liu YiFei was absolutely mesmerising and gorgeous in this movie.
I have no idea if it’s coz of her make-up or….. something else…. Because I don’t find her that drop-dead gorgeous outside of this movie, I mean she’s pretty but that’s it. But she was really stunning in this movie, so I’m sure it’s partially hair and make-up. Think it’s the way they drew her eyes…..?

Bai Jing Ting is superb befitting as the male lead character… he totally looks like someone who designs game for a living and has an eidetic memory….
