Anyone watched like the latest episode already? Ep 8? I have a big question… help…
Who is the girl that he was trying to meet at the hotel but failed? Wot were they trying to do? It looks like Pei Zhen knows exactly wot it is about…. I watched the unsubbed version…. 😥
They said the antidote is a flower that grows in Shubei, but doesn't grow anymore. So how was Physician Qin able…
LOL. Hi-5… see… it’s a tad ridiculous. I was like… how stupid is this considering they’ve highlighted this like a zillion times in the drama. 🤦🏻♀️ not like it was anything major, but I couldn’t stop myself from rolling my eyes coz it was so damn obvious.

Haha. Not that. This one is tiny. Like her letter to him was written in Qian language and all of a sudden he can read it when they’ve been emphasising he is illiterate throughout the whole drama.
Have to admit that the main female character should have been a pretty complicated one… and it should have been…
I wasn’t exactly annoyed. But some scenes and some moments it does become a bit weird. Like…… off-beat? And I suddenly get confused to wot on Earth she’s trying to do, basically like wot the other MDL folks above commented.

They never mentioned.. could be viewed as one minor loophole amongst other minor ones… I personally viewed it as they still had some in ShuoBei but defo not enough for everyone because it had stopped growing. I myself also noticed an obvious minor loophole in the last episode.
still reeling from how good that twist waswhen wen ying showed up i wasn't surprised because man was already acting…
Lol. I rolled my eyes for like 1 millisecond though coz I thought that was sucha typical C-drama cliche/trope. But yea, the twist was good. Actually I think someone in MDL guessed correctly prior to the last 2 episodes released.
Is there character growth for the FL? I am enjoying the light heartedness of the drama, but I am feeling this…
Have to admit that the main female character should have been a pretty complicated one… and it should have been more multi-dimensional… given her upbringing and background.
but the actress that portrayed her (btw, I’m neutral towards the actress)… I think the way she did it made it a bit weird. Think it ‘s passable… but it left some of the viewers kinda cringey and odd moments here and there. Even I don’t really get why the role was portrayed with a lot of childishness… think she was trying to reflect that bit coz the character is always sick……? I don’t know… the whole combination was odd. At times I was left perplexed. I think it’s also because she over-compensated for her actual age gap with the lead I think, so I don’t know if it was a subconscious thing or if the director made her do it… or it was the script.. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Ep 1: superb weird amongst a zillion things going on, defo leaves you feeling a lil’ ?!?!? Ep 2: ah… ok, so this is wot it’s about, defo kinda surprising considering I has no idea wot to expect after Ep 1… hurmmm but it looks like they’ve disclosed everything….. 🤔🤔🤔
So the Qi’s life being threatened when their stone is removed is not true???? They just become human like Qian.
They don’t always die… remember the scene after the whole cave thingy where they got kidnapped? So for the average Qi person they become handicapped/bed-ridden for life (btw it also depends on how much of the stone was harvested)…. But he’s the purest blood of XueQi…hence why he won’t die. Just he loses all the ‘perks’…. And becomes an average person.
So one thing which was vague and they didn’t give enough details is whether the stone regenerates over time…. I mean, to be fair there were still loopholes but given this wasn’t from a novel, I’m already superb impressed with the logic and continuity… it at least progressed smoothly and sensibly.. and surprisingly everything wrapped up relatively nicely.
Totally wishing hard that the CP isn’t… he’s been sucha good elder brother and fair character. I actually…
Ah, that’s probably why I’ve never watched it. Terrible CGI is totally a dealbreaker. I’m fine with no CGI… but terrible is a different thing. Maybe that’s why the name of the series sounds awfully familiar. I’ve probably watched it for like 15 mins,
Btw, I looked at your list, since you recommended something….. I also wanted to say, take a look at Miss S. 😉
I watched the unsubbed version…. 😥
Oh… only 13 episodes. Interesting…. Damns the first 4 episodes were so good.
I myself also noticed an obvious minor loophole in the last episode.
