Yes, there is a beautiful romance. It’s like having a front row seat to watching the leads fall in love!
Lol. com’on… think about it…. That’s actually so rare for Mainland dramas. They had like 10 episodes of together time as a couple…. That’s actually a lot by any standards. I’ve almost never came across any C-dramas that don’t do some weird thing whereby they only get together in the last 1-2 episodes and then the series just ends.😒😒😒 The progress of their relationship was very realistic considering they started off as strangers.
Let me share Candle In The Tomb [Chinese Drama & Movie] list based on my search :Volume 1 (2016) CANDLE IN THE…
You need to post this somewhere…… very visible, this is so helpful. Thanks!
I’ve actually wrote to MDL about like linking everything up, I really don’t understand why they do it for Daomu Biji but not Candle in the Tomb…. Basically the admin just rejected my request.
Omg humor really topnotch. Some of my faves, when CSS ask LBY next day if there was an owl, she heard YS master…
That was super hilarious, I love it. I actually think that a lot of Asian couples in that generation felt exactly like how he felt. In a way it was super realistic.
I don't believe there were any plans on Season 2. This is it.
Can you PLEASEEEEEE provide some spoilers from the novel? I just checked, it has like almost 2000 chapters… 😔😒 Like what happened to Chen ZhiBao and Xu WeiXiong? Apparently he rebelled and ended up losing the use of his legs BUT he still manages like something in BeiLiang? But the English translation got messed up so I don’t really understand wot he ended up doing.
Also wot happened to his eldest sister? I found some spoilers online so I managed to get the ending for most of the characters. Like I read that apparently Xu Feng Nian didn’t end up staying as the King of BeiLiang? He gave that up in the end? Why? 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️
Think you should add Kris Wu to this list; he got convicted and sentenced.
Totally… and 13 yrs… wow… I was really impressed…. That it was fair albeit heavy-handed… but at least it was a “real” sentence… unlike the ones above… so I just realised Korean law sides with celebrities… 😒😒and chaebols as well I spse…
I watched this ages ago but only realised that there is 2 additional epilogue episodes released… like both were…
Haha. I know right… I liked it though because of the whole poison-medicine thingy. I thought it was kinda cool. But all the court politics arcs made me 🙄…. This is based on a novel, it was a HE in the novel… just I don’t know why the series did an odd double interpretation ending.

Lol. My favourite character is Guan Ge…. 🤣 because the main leads only have one theme…. Never ending misunderstanding and distrust…. Kinda ridiculous actually because it occurs from the start until the end… but ZZH only has a few notable/worthy works… 😔
Rewatching this after some time is such a treat…. I have to reiterate that the comedic script and performances of this drama was top-notch. It’s so natural, realistic and super damn hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣 It really offered up a good balance to the whole pacing of the drama because they did slot in a lot of realllllyyyy slow shots. Why can’t all C-dramas have this quality of humour….. I hate watching comedies coz most of the time I just stare at the screen and go…. “Wot on Earth are they doing………. 😒😒😒”
For once I actually love all the palace politics, it was quite refreshing and unique…. I don’t think every single woman in this world goes crazy with jealousy.
Sighs, how many yrs will I have to wait before I forget the details of this drama enough to rewatch again… ☹️
