listen i hate love triangles/quads im a super monogamous person, but i can’t lie the whole cast got chemistry bcs why did that 5 seconds of cc with dr jiang kinda eat in the ep 10 preview

my favourite scene is still ep 8 when cc saves wsw from being stabbed and he’s treating his bruise and scolding him for putting himself in danger and wsw has the cutest sweetest smile on his face when cc hugs him and then cc tells him he doesn’t have to do all this shit bcs he likes him no matter what and then wsw is like what if he lies and deceives him and cc is like id like you even more and then swivel thing he does with wsw legs AGGHHHHHH i need that scene projected on my forehead 24/7 it gives me butterflies just thinking about it, has me grinning like a fool in the middle of my work day

from what i remember da is like first and bao is like treasure/precious/baby. dabao is also the name of the lotion brand wsw is likes and gifted to cc in an earlier ep. so the name + the tagline of the brand being something like “see each other everyday” (i don’t remember exactly) and cc wanting to see wsw every day is why he calls him that. erbao is like second treasure/baby/precious.

you know what, cc’s ex aside and the symbolism of the snake representing him and their love, if i had to kill my cat to save someone’s life i’d hesitate too like that’s my baby 😭

i think (emphasis on think bcs i’m not sure i understand the snake plot lmaoo) bcs guo was doing his usual antagonizing chi cheng thing and was trying to take the snakes, hence the fight he started with chi cheng, wsw used the distraction of that fight to step in and save the snakes. he likes chi cheng for real, so he gets to look like the hero in chi cheng’s eyes. plus, i think he also gets to take back any snakes that were replaced (plot from last week where he was replacing chi cheng’s snakes with dupes so he could slowly get chi cheng’s snakes back) to earn his money back or something

i guess we’ll know for sure in the next couple of eps bcs that’s where the kisses and more should be happening
