So Gu Chu Sheng did everything including marrying into Duke Ning's household to have power to re-open the case. FL couldn't give him that.

Ep.8: Lu Qiba seems to be quite the character. ML being embarrassed in front of all his sister in laws was funny😂 I like that FL has poor handwriting, Cdrama would have us believe everyone can write beautifully with a brush. The "bell ornament" scene was a nice touch, not too obvious but still a telling moment.

The FL's maid is not really a character in a drama. She is usually a literary device to say or do what the FL can't or won't. That's what I meant. While the ML's helpers are usually sweet or normal characters to offset the ML who may be too ferocious or bloodthirsty. So in a sense, they are rarely independent or real characters in and of themselves.

I don't think she's arrogant. Rather she says the things that she knows her mistress can't say.

Ep.7: I couldn't stop grinning when seeing FL go to the Duke of Ning's mansion and causing chaos. GCS deserved worse for what he did.
