Lol they definitely are crazy! I think I am realizing my definition of average is different from some. The article…
It's the trend to be blamed. The Kdrama lead trends keep changing. When the drama with Jun Ji Hyun aired, the typical female lead were the innocent, pure type so she stood out, however nowadays the female lead are more on the side of crazy-ish, outspoken, borderline b****. I mean just take a look at the FL in IOTNO & HDL, they're both very similar characters. So IMO most of these aren't unique either, I mean don't get me wrong I love these women (esp Jun Ji Hyun in You Who Came from the Stars and subsequent reiteration of her i.e Lee Sung Kyung in Cheese in the Trap and Jaekyung in the Secret Life of My Secretary) but personally I wouldn't put them in a list about unique female leads. More accurately I'd rate as "Strong, independent female leads" rather than "Unique, different female leads" in other words they have the BDE for a lack of a better term LOL
Personally for me the "different"/"unique" female leads are the ones that diverges from all of these trends and retains her own personality without falling victim to being a pile of tropes. For e.g Chun Woo Hee in Be Melodramatic, she's not the "innocent" female lead nor can she be typed as a "badass" or "smart" or "intelligent" or "strong" type, she falls in a grey area; another example would be Im Soo Hyang's character from Search WWW, she's a smart woman but she's neither strong nor can be called a "badass" unlike other women in this list and is prone to immature decisions.
My list of 5 Asian horror to avoid because they're just a waste of time:
1. Gonjiam Haunted Hospital - Cookie cutter, very typical movie and scares are non-existent. Go watch Grave Encounters instead, because it's the original and million times better.
2. Acacia - Little known Korean horror for a very good reason i.e it's mediocre. The editing ruins the movie. It keeps building up but then the editing ruins it.
3. The Unbelievable - AVOID THIS garbage at all cost. Why? Because it's one hell of a cruel movie as it ACTUALLY kills animals (FOR REAL) for the scare factor.
4. The Haunted House Project - A low quality Blair Witch wannabe with zero substance. There's nothing to it.
5. Shiirome - To think the makers of the brilliant Noroi created this trash just confounds me. How can someone go from making such a good film to such a bad one.
Try Satan's Slaves (2017), it gave me the scares I've been looking for for a while
Seen all of these and couldn't find any of them scary. I'd agree with Astolfo, horror stopped being scary like almost 2 decades ago imo lol They're entertaining movie, captivating but just not "scary".
Elvin Han and Sun Yi are just... Oh shit, I loved them so much in that drama. Elvis Han's character's dedication to her character was so good. I loved it.
A couple I want to see again is Kim Seon Ho x Ko Won Hee couple (from Strongest Deliveryman), those two carried that show so hard for me.
Lee Junho x Nam Goongmin? Park Haesoo x Jung Kyung Ho?
Their bromance were amazing.
PS: I prefer Lee Sung Kyung wiht NJH's long lost twin Ahn Hyo Seop more lol
Such a good movie. Very nonchalant, very melo. There's nothing extravagant about this, yet it's so captivating. Loved the interaction between the characters.
The top airing shows is based on the ranking and, as you can see, it's only ranked in the 13000s so far. The ranking…
One of the reason why that happens is because PH shows aren't as common here. There's not a lot of PH drama pages as compared to SK or Japan in here so it's easier to climb the ranks for it. Thai is similar.
sooo... right when they're about to enter uni you decide to drop it? LOL ok.. GJ getting to this point thoEdit:…
I think it'd have been great if the show was progressive. Like instead of the school period being a flashback, it could've been where the drama began instead. And it'd lead up to a time skip and progress into the present storyline naturally where they'd finally resolve the misunderstanding. That way we wouldn't be knowing about the misunderstanding that led to their parting and it'd keep it fresh.
Personally for me knowing the fact that they parted spoilt the past storyline for me because it makes me go "just skip to the future and resolve all the misunderstanding already!". This would need more episodes obviously, but I think it could've been a great drama if it progressed that way.
Of course this is only what I think and I'm coming from a perspective of someone who hasn't read the book. Others might disagree.

The ending though, it pissed me off so much >.<
I know Kai Ko got into some very bad drug scandal, but I hope he can bounce back.
