That's fair enough. But as a bisexual guy myself I personally don't see a problem here. I personally don't like labels either. I fall for who I fall, I am not particularly fond of calling myself bisexual either. Gender of the person I'm attracted to is inconsequential for me. But I understand what you mean.
I guess MekBoss is just a traditional secret love story, which we've had plenty. Meanwhile we still don't know…
The story's not what my problem with MekBoss is, but rather the actors don't match each other at all. And the guy who plays Mek is really awkward to look at due to his terrible dubbing (like I mentioned, his lips never match the lines, so it comes off unnatural and lacking in any feeling). It'd been so much better if they had casted someone who actually speaks the language in that role. Another problem with Mek is that he looks pained almost always during his scenes, he has this frown on his face and he looks like he'll cry any moment. It's just not cute anymore, in fact it never was.
This series was going so well, and then Bohn had to go and say: "I don't like men. I only like Duen." Seriously??…
BL is a separate genre for me where there's no labeling based on gender. There's rarely any BL where characters go "I'm gay" or "I'm bisexual", they just fall for people of the same gender. This also explains why in BL shows, almost everyone's gay too. So I actually think of this as a progression compared to being labelled gay/straight/bi. Because it gives you an impression of "You fall for who you fall", no one's restricted to any gender based on labels.
Just watched episode 6 and am a bit disappointed about the back and forth in the story. It is annoying, that in…
Fong and Bohn are both described as devious and unamiable by others. So what you saw of Fong in episode 6 is how he is actually. He has fallen for Duen, it's the only reason why he treats him gently and more kindly.
As for Duen being unwilling. It's actually reasonable. His father doesn't seem like someone who'd support them + there's the societal stigma too (for e.g in episode 1 or 2, how the girl treated them rudely because Bohn kissed Duen on the cheek). So even though he likes Bohn, he's hesitant to jump into this relationship.
I think people are gravitating toward RamKing because, unlike many couple we're seeing nowadays, there isn't a…
The Ram-King couple is actually quite different in the source material iirc than the series. Ram is like a head taller than King and King's a tad more childish. But yes, I actually really like the portrayal in the show a bit more. Not to mention Ram's only silent when he's with King, it's kinda like how people get shy when in front of people they like. I like that idea lol
2gether and this are definitely the best Thai BL of the year. I'd like this one a tad more if they decreased the Mek-Boss scene and inserted more Fong-Thara scenes though. I'm sorry, but I'm not feeling Mek-Boss at all, especially with how awkward Mek's actor looks with the dub voiceover when his lips don't even match what he's saying. And I smell a lot of potential in Fong-Thara relationship too.
I love this drama. But is it me or the face of the lead actress is blurred to make it seem flawless? It is kind…
Kdramas in generally use filters. Same with Chinese, Taiwanese and even Thai drama from what I've seen. You're only finding it prominent here because of her age.
Really good production and premise so far. Interesting isn't enough to sum it up. It's brutal af from the get go. So it's not for people with the faintest heart. Definitely one of the better dramas of the year.
I guess I am strange cause these 2 are my favourite episodes of the Whole serie xD
I used to like them too. But they did not need 2 whole episodes just to show them be lovey and dovey and making out because there are 3 couples in this (4 if you include Japan and Tanthai). The timing could've been used better to develop the other couples. The show has always been balanced badly throughout, there has been too much Fighter x Tutor and too less of the other couples. The only episodes which focused on SaifahZon were episode 1 and 2. After that they've been getting barebone scenes that lasts like 10mins every episode. Now from the teaser, even episode 11 seems to be centred around Fighter x Tutor. It's ridiculous. They've totally forgotten that both SaifahZon and DewBlue also have their own books.
U just said whats in my mind lol. It is basically fan service
I mean I have nothing against fanservice if it's done in limitation but seriously 1 and half hour of fanservice is tooo foking long and a huge waste of time. It's almost making me dislike the couple.
