The whole cast did well but two performances stood out, I have a new respect for Nam Joo-hyuk and Kim Hye-ja who both surprised me. Of course I already love Han Ji-min, it wouldn't have worked without her. The narrative was a little obtuse, I won't say why, not to say it wasn't enjoyable throughout, let's just say it broke a golden rule.
I have watched two episodes and it is different and so enjoyable. ML is superb, will carry on with it.
I thought it was called "Into the White Night" but it's listed as White Night... adapted from a Japanese book (before the Japanese version, which I've yet to see). I was so impressed with it. I can't remember which service it was on, maybe it was on TV... it's on kissasian.sh if you know how to avoid the ad traps - open in a private browsing window and close after watching - it probably runs some drone JavaScript in the background which shouldn't harm your computer.
EDIT: don't read *any* MDL reviews or comments, they're wrong and will totally spoil it. I just looked it up, so disappointing to read - watch it first!

Thanks, I'm tempted. Actually I haven't seen any of Go Soo's dramas, but two of his movies - one of which is still one of my favourite movies of all time
Looks interesting but I'm not sure if I should watch... being on Netflix with 12 episodes means only one thing - it's probably going to go on and on for at least 2 years. I just scrolled up and true to form, there's a sequel. I'm not going to start, I'll curb my disappointment right now. If Korea starts making American style shows, I'll just stop.
I'm happy for them both! Sinse GHJ is Catholic, I hope they were married in a Catholic church. (It's a Catholic…
It doesn't really matter. Who cares as long as they're both good people and happy? I hope they have a great day, live well and enjoy each other's company to the fullest, in every way.
Why do people hate in-hye's character? You don't know how it feels when everyone wants you to enjoy your life…
I don't think most viewers disliked her, I thought she was great. I wouldn't focus on a few spiteful posts, they're from the small minority that shouts loudest.
Well Now I'm thinking what was so special about the ending? Like the director was talking about , like It's something…
I was fooled, I commend the drama... I try to be clever and guess what will happen... I was convinced Hwa-young was still alive... the writer knew we'd all make that guess, plastic surgery et al, so then convinced us she wasn't. I liked it a lot. I was also very suspicious of In-kyung's boyfriend all the way through, I was wrong there too!
This! The only thing that threw me off in the finale and maybe the whole series
Hwa-young wasn't in it for the money... we can just assume Do-il hid the money, but it wasn't spelled out. I was more thrown off by the physics - manhole covers are pretty heavy! Also the subtitling of the judge's sentence for In-joo sounded like 18 months custodial followed by 2 years probation - so she was ordered to first serve a custodial sentence of 18 months which confused me when she walked out of prison. That's not the phrasing judges use in my jurisdiction. It's either custodial or it's a probationary sentence, or both.
I love the casting of Lee Da-hee here, must be some irony involved, wasn't she the host of one of those buff dating shows on Netflix? Adds even more joy to this show. Everything from ENA is pure gold at the moment, they've tapped into what we're all missing at the moment.
I'm not watching it. If it's terrible, they'll never make season 2, and I don't watch seasons even if it's good. The biggest disappointment in life is watching a season 2 of something. By season 3 you already know it's gone off so you're not expecting much, you just feel guilty every week for wasting your time.
Is this another Netflix thing that runs over seasons? I normally avoid any drama starring a mononym actor... if it's also going to be dragged out I'm definitely dropping it.
