I agree but the audience in mydramalist are western and I am not sure that for instance people from korea relate to dramas. I heard that they get less popular there and they fo for western stuff. As for people who see it as a taboo I mean there are all kind of dramas, I think idol dramas are more for them. But with 30 + actors it is really ridiculous the way they shaw relationship sometimes

Wow thank you you really made me want to watch it . I like when second leads are not jus y seconds leads and when the female lead has a purpose on her life. And I love slow burn romance it is way more credible when they fall in love.And I love Buffy as well :)

Okay thank you for your answer I don't cluster anyone it is a fact yang yang has a lot of fan girls and most reviews are biased. While scrolling I saw at least 5 messages saying "please rate it 10+" and I don't trust the reviews of people that come her for the popular leads so I really want an honest and unbiased opinion which is hard to find when leads are so popopular. So you can be a fan of the actors and still criticize their work and this is great but unfortunately it is not the case for evryone.

Hello, so I am asking to non fans of the actors, how is this drama? Because I can't trust fans rating and on this page there are a lot of fans encouraging others to rate it 10. So as they are not objective, for a non biased people how is this drama? As the hype for it is okay not to be okay was mostly due to the actors popularity more than the quality so now I am cautious with those hypes.

There are some really good k dramas I prefer makjangs because I love dramas. I watch mainly asian dramas because I lile romance but as I am getting older I really get tired of the way they approach romance. They show you a romanxe supposed to be passionate but the actors always seem so stiff. Especially in the kiss scenes . I mean you spend 10 espisodes waiting for the characters to be together and when it is time for them to kiss there is no passion. Also I am tired of the chasteness. I mean I have never seen a character having a normal sexual life. Female are always represented like 30 years old blushing virgins and even guys. I mean I don't want to watch something about sexuality but it would be good if they could stop to act like the 50's hollywood studios censured by the Hays code. And I think that Korean people can't identify to those characters anymore because it doesn't represent them. As for other cliches that are so tiring: for instance the childhood romance which they can't seem to give up. They like it so much. I tried watching It s ok not to be ok as people were totally eulogizing it and what a disappointment. I thought it had a clever writing but not in reality it just present itself as clever it is pretentious but an empty show with the same old trope ... they knew each other as children they couldn't forget each other... yes they know how to shoot the plan are beautiful, the costumes and the actress as well. Buta good visual is not everything and it is not enough. Lately Korean show really take themselves too seriously dealing with subjects that are not up their reach and of which they don't have a good mastery. I don't watch a lot of J dramas because they are to short but I think J dramas are way less codified and more creative so it is a secret garden I still have to explore.

So I wish K dramas would be less prude and if western culture helps it I really don't think it is a bad think because they know how to make great romance. But only that is lacking.
