Lol I just had to read this review when I saw that rating. I've been sitting on the fence where this drama is concerned. I put it on hold at episode 7. But I kept on trying to convince myself to give it another go because of all the rave about it but still, I still get that feeling that it might not be all that great, I don't know why.
But still I don't think I will write it off completely based on the 7 episodes I have watched, I will put it on hold and hopefully one day when I am willing to waste 63 hours of my life and not regret it, I will give it a go.
I almost dropped Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, can't remember on which episode but somewhere below the 10 but above the 5, what kept me going was the rave about it, and it's been a year since I watched it first time and I still can't get over it, my drama watch list is still low but I really do think it will remain my favourite with the increase of the watchlist.

Yeah the female lead also, I am not feeling. There's just something annoying or putting off about her but still 7 episodes is still little to completely write her off.

Definitely is a good drama. I'm glad you were able to get into it second time around.

As much as I hated the villains, I appreciated the fact that they were smart strategists also.
Yeah the MLs people were just awesome and loyal, nothing breaks my heart like betrayals.

He needs his own drama as Fei Liu once again lol. I don't know how many times I rewinded his fighting scenes.
As an actor he has other stuff though, I haven't seen any of his other stuff though.

Yeah Fei Liu was just too adorable, couldn't help but love him...and those fighting skills. He even shocked Xia Jiang lol.

I definitely understand why the beginning had you engaged more than the end, the not knowing, the lure of wanting to know.
Toward the end you already knew who the winning team will be, it was definite, so it no longer had that angsty biting your finger nails feel, that keeps you glued, wanting to see the next episode. Understand even the ffw because in a sense you already know how this is going to go. But getting to that point of that win, that journey, those strategies was just beautiful and watching the conclusions and end of all the bad people I enjoyed. Like it was a beautiful ending. Hence even still enjoying and appreciating the last couple of episodes. Those episodes made the ending complete and full. Like even with the loss of a life, you are still satisfied.

Finaly decided to give this one a try. And I was not disappointed. It really is a good movie.
I loved how the female lead was able to have a presence/feel of hardness but at the same time vulnerability. Someone with her situation you'd understand why she'd have both and I feel like she gave off that feel well.
The storyline is nothing out of the ordinary but it was still sweet and simple.
Male lead "Kento", first time watching him. There's something or some expression that he kept on doing with his lips/around the the lip area that really rubbed me off the wrong way at times, like it really irritated me, don't know why but it did. Made him look weird, made him look like an idiot at times...like eish...almost put me off his character.
Felt like male lead's acting was average. Loved the female leads acting.
But otherwise, it was a good movie, I enjoyed it.

Hmmm...I don't know...something mann, I'm not sure. But it just lacked something. I feel like I was able to at least try and connect with the storyline and characters because I watched and loved the anime. I feel like the movie is a skeleton, and having seen the anime and watching the movie with the anime in mind gave the movie flesh.

Really couldn't connect with their emotions. Couldn't connect with Kou's loss and his anguish over that loss. Wasn't completely moved by Futaba's fight to see her friend (Kou) free from his grieve. It all just seemed or felt forced and shallow and empty.

I do wish though the anime had the same ending as the movie. (I know it's not about the anime...but I just had to)
Funny enough though even if in the anime they didn't end up together but you saw and felt their chemistry, the movie for me is the opposite of that, really honestly didn't feel their chemistry.

This is such a nice simple movie. No unnecessary drama, straight to the point. Sweet, simple connection and love between the couple.
I must say though as sad as the ending was, it was really a beautiful ending, a satisfying ending, they ended the movie well.

Longest two hours of my life. Why? I really don't know because I still enjoyed the movie. But it just felt looong for me.
I enjoyed the movie. It's a chilled movie. No unnecessary drama, no immature FL, no arrogant stuck up ML. I liked it.
I'm just not sure about the ending though. I don't know why but I'm not 100% ok with our ML declaring his love to the FL at the end like that. A whole two years. Nice, sort out your career/baseball, push until you succeed, do you boo. But a whole two years. Then you confess, then I throw myself in your arms...like "oh finally". Nah fam, miss me. I found that a bit selfish and self-centered on the ML side.
Isn't relationship about doing life together? Life and dreams is not going to stop just because you start a relationship. If you're can't do both then I'm not sure.

Lol. I just find it hard to drop movies, otherwise I would've dropped this one. And I came to this one because of Tsuchiya Tao. Even though her character and all the rest lacked everything--story, development, substance, etc, still suffered through this movie because of her.

I also don't like love triangles. I've been doubting this one because of that. But Youtube MVs keep on drawing me to it. But I can't get myself to watch it because it's a love triangle.
How is it? Is it worth breaking ones rule of "love triangle movies are a no go"?

Can't wait for all of Yang Mi's upcoming dramas.
Wonder who the male lead will be for this one...love the male leads in her other upcoming dramas.

Really beautiful drama. Makes you see the value of life. Makes you really want to live a purposeful life. Makes you wonder how you would've treated someone like Aya at school, how would you have looked at her or felt about her or treated her on the bus.
Makes you really see and understand that people with such disabilities are still fully human and are still fully alive on the inside. Loved the family.
Appreciated and admired Asou--(wonder if he was a fictional character or if the really was an Asou in Aya's life).

Lol...I honestly think it's a good quote. My interpretation of it is "a woman who strives to achieve the impossible even when she fails she will be an inspiration still. Basically challenging others to try the impossible also, challenging others to be fearless and courageous and just go for it".

I would add Hua Bu Qi from "I will never let you go" she is my current favourite.
She doesn't have fighting strength but she's got a whole lot more strength than just physical. I liked her wittiness, intelligence, smart business woman, loyalty, plus more.

Despite a disappointing ending, with all the killings and a nonsensical, confusing final scene, I still think this was a good drama, and I honestly still enjoyed it.

Dong Fang Shi honestly there were moments I liked him, I was touched by him or felt bad for him but that still doesn't take away the fact that I see him as a murderous, selfish, self-centered psychotic obsessed human being.
I don't call or see his feelings toward Hua Bu Qi as love, at all. Despite his protection over her, though he probably was genuine in that but for me it was like he is protecting his possession.
How can you kidnap someone you love? Keep them in ropes and chains? Force them to marry you when they don't want to? Hurt and reap her heart out through deceiving her. Stand next to her while you are wearing a smile but she is crying, trying to cheer her up with things that mean nothing to her at that moment.
That's not love, that's self love. That's some twisted self-centered kind of love. He didn't care about her heart, he didn't care about her feelings. He only cared about his own feelings.
If he truly cared about her feelings, even with the marriage deal that was made,  he would've let he go and allowed her to be happy with someone else than her be miserable and unhappy with him. But all that mattered was his own happiness and not hers...uhggg. He is no different from Mo Ruo Fei's father who raped Hua Bu Qi's mother just because he was "IN LOVE" with her. He (DFS) also tried to force himself into HBQ's heart despite being rejected and told no and knowing very well that she has someone else in her heart.
I don't hate Dong Fang Shi's character but at the same time I do.

I personally think Dong Fang Shi and his grandfather and Chen Yu's father are the cause of all these deaths not Chen Yu and Hua Bu Qi.

Chen Yu despite some stupid and bad decisions he made and him being potrayed as weak toward the end, I still found him to be a noble character. He cares for human life, he gets concerned for people even in the midst of disappointment. He truly loved her (HBQ), he would allow her to make decisions and step back and protect from a distance, giving her the freedom to live out her choice/s, while still protecting her.
I really loved their love for each other.

Hua Bu Qi, what an amazing character.

I have no idea what is happening in this movie...ok a bit of an exaggerate...but seriously though the storyline/plot is just weak, if there is any.
The movie for me just lacks substance, in all aspects.
There is no character development, I couldn't connect with the characters at all. Couldn't connect with their emotions.
Weak storyline or none existent.
I'm a sucker for romance but I love my romance progressive. Which makes them have root, substance and a foundation.
These two, I have no idea where this live for you die for you love came from...The whole time they expressed their undying love for each other in some kind of way, I was like "where? When? How?"
It's a Meh movie, empty. Half way through, I kept on looking at how many minutes left for it to finish.
Had high expectations of this one, really disappointed.

Sounds like it was a messy (a lot of deaths) ending, from what I've read, and a convenient ending for the main leads. Do they at least explain (through CY explaining to HBQ) how he managed to survive and DFS's grandfather didn't?
