The galaxy contains the myriads of stars that create the brights of milky way. We look at the stars from afar as something that we know is shiny and beautiful, but from our position, it is still unknown. We do not know what a star is really like or how we would feel seeing it from up close, -and yet- we still have the ability to find it beautiful. Just like how NiaoNiao was to LingLing. Even though they don't yet know each other intensely, or even though there are many opinions around them that belittle and demean the girl, -but in Ling Ling's eyes- NiaoNiao always just looks outstanding gleaming and extraordinary impressive. Both exert a gravitational effect to one another, making them orbit each other. Looking at a sky full of stars also brings us hope. It makes us realize just how gigantic our universe is, and how small we are in comparison. The realization of how small we are in this galaxy, leads us to think that there must be someone else out there who is great for us. However -in another side- all glittering things which the galaxy has showed to us in the vastness of the dark sky, it's as well automatically bring us curious, coz we cannot see specifically what is out there. All we can truly see is what we perceive, and that's something glorius sparkling and blazing awesome. It's like when we started a new relationship, we are full of hope. And at the same time this new love is something we are curious about. Many questions will arise (especially for a girl like NiaoNiao, who grew up without knowledge about love, sympathy or empathy) what could happen? Is this partner going to become the love of my life? will this be the person create a life with? we are curious, and we want to know the inside and outs of everything even though we can't possibly know what will happen until it does happen. Love is unpredictable, and we can only hope that one day, it will be something beauteous in our life. In fact, glitter bright things scattered in the galaxy, which we see, are not a solid thing whatsoever. They are made up of various gases that, when put together, emit so much energy that they can shine extremely brilliant and be seen hundreds of light-years away from the Earth. This is similar to love: Whenever we see couples that are made up of two people who fit so well together, then they will emit so much energy. When they unite, they brilliant up the entire room, and we can all feel it when in the same room. As if both can outsplendid the rest of us. I think I also experienced this feeling when I watched NiaoNiao and LingLing couple together. They have done many things together with great success, for example; Uncle Dong's gun smuggling case and money laundering at the Ge family's fabric factory, The incident at the Lantern Festival -where NiaoNiao saved LBY from the trick of Princess Yuchang, then LBY rescued NiaoNiao from a restaurant that was burnt-, The shu map case at General Wang's residence, The Collapsed Bridge Incident, Insurrection in Hua county, The Yanhui tower rescue, The palace incident when NiaoNiao got bullied from the princesses and nearly fell onto the scattered pottery shards , etc. Even the most interesting thing was when on the first day of their proclamation of love, LBY silenced the words of rebuttal that would come out of 'Madam-Fierce' Xiao Yuanyi. And they finally made the princesses and princes flabbergasted, even making Princess Yuchang -who was yearning to own LBY by all means and tricks- fainted without any effort. When two person being a strong couple, they will shine together with, coz both are aligned and work in unison. It is this movement of energy that makes both a strong and empowered couple that shines bright, just like the stars in galaxy. As we see just how bright the galaxy star shine, that's how a couple do in relationships should be. At the moment that fallin in love, everything is seems brighter and resplendent like the galaxy in the dark sky. The colors shine more, and we see our partner as being the brightest person in the universe. They become the center of our universe too, and the spark we need on the darkest days. The best love can offer is to be loyal to the one we're with. Even though we are thousands of miles apart, our loved ones will still be the brightest stars in the entire galaxy. Galaxy is endless. Just as this universe has no 'beginning' and 'end'. So is true love, with endless sincerity. When stars explode, they will glow in maximum brilliant luminous, spreading the parts across the galaxy, forming the cores of new stars. Never apologize for burning too brightly or collapsing into the love. That is how galaxies are made. I hope that the love story between Cheng Shaosang and Ling BuYi will be endless, beautiful forever. I re-watched the 19th episode. I was amazed by the visual at the scene when LingLing invited NiaoNiao to meet…
Chinese Moon gates 月亮门 (yuèliàngmén), they represent the symbol of wealth. There are some other interpretations, such as symbol of family unity or symbol of birth and renewal or rejuvenation.
In the Chinese philosophy feng shui, aimed at harmonizing environments, moon gate is thought to offer an auspicious welcome or fortune to those who pass through. Moon gate is also represents the full moon, or happiness. Chich Lin (Yueh Lao), the Chinese God of Love and Marriage, is traditionally associated with the moon.
Niao Niao walks pass through the Moon Gate. After seeking around, looking left and right, the figure her come across as only Ling Ling; which looks at her by the warm and lovely gaze as usual, then come over her.
This scene to me is an interpretation where Niao Niao, who is always considered an 'jinxed girl', who was abandoned by her parents and neglected since birth (That's what her relatives kept to 'doctrine' to her from after birth), as if got reborn by all of good luck -that she will bring into the general Ling's life.
It's also gave sense that between Niao Niao and Ling Ling there is a red thread that is tied by Yue Lao for both, where each of them is destiny of happiness for the other.
For centuries, the ginkgo tree has served as a symbol of hope and peace in its native land of China, and also means endurance, vitality, strength and longevity. Eastern cultures have always embraced the concept of duality. The ginkgo trees are often used to expressed as 'yin' and 'yang', duality recognizes the male and female aspects of all living creatures. Duality also teaches that both 'light' and 'darkness' are of equal important.
The whole picture's description reflects the spirit of all the good wishes from NiaoNiao & LingLing. Where both represent the elements of Yin and Yang, the essence of it is the two opposing but complementary elements of existence. The nature of the interconnected and opposing forces in this world and how they build each other up. The interaction of the two can give birth to new ideas. Yin and Yang change each other like currents in the ocean. They always seek balance even though they are at odds, but they are not always at odds with each other. Not only do they replace each other, they become one with each other through the constant flow of the universe.
The leaf of the Ginkgo tree is a symbol of courage, persistence, and strength. This is the right symbol to describe the character and personality of the couple Niao Niao and Ling Ling. Both are individuals who are not afraid of anything, persistent and strong. Growing up without love, bearing all the pain and disappointment, made them stronger than most people at their age.
"Leaves Fall Returning to the Roots". Leaves wither and fall on the ground by the tree roots. This metaphor implies that all creatures have an old home to return to even after a long sojourn in distant parts. Just like General Ling saying farewell to Niao Niao, then Niao Niao telling him to be careful and promising to play the flute for him after coming home with victory (safety). This was as if as a sign that wherever Ling Ling was going, in the end Niao Niao was the place he would return to go home.
I re-watched the 19th episode. I was amazed by the visual at the scene when LingLing invited NiaoNiao to meet him alone. Starting from the Graceful 'Moon Gate', then the effect of the sun shining warm brightly between the rows of large the ginkgo trees, bringing out the golden glow of yellow color from the scattered ginkgo leaves. The falling of ginkgo leaves drifting down in slow motion. How beautiful and dramatic. I was blow away not only by the beauty of the setting of the place, but also by the symbols that belonged to them.
New bts of Wu Lei and Lusi, and scene where he saved her from bullies!! I'm shocked how especially he picked up…
The behind-the-scenes when LingLing hit the head of the fence pillar, which held NiaoNiao's hanfu away, really made me chuckle helplessly. Even the fence also was competing for NiaoNiao with General Ling 🤣🤣🤣❤

Even though LingLing has always supported and helped NiaoNiao from behind the scenes, this 'feeling' and 'caring' of LingLing was very difficult for a 15 years old girl to understand. Where her also doesn't really understand what sympathy and empathy are, moreover to understand the feeling of love ~ cuz all her life, in her growing period no one cares and teaches her about it. She always feel there are more people who hate her than love her. Especially when the figure of 'mother' suddenly appears in her life, and it makes her feel even more unwanted. In contrast to A-Yao's approach, which was more open, simple and straightforward ~ this was easier to accept and understand by NiaoNiao's emotional and mental development at that time. How the way A-Yao treats NiaoNiao with sweetness, sincere, and admiring gaze, openly in front of everyone at least gives a NiaoNiao an initial to learn to understand forms of affection from the opposite sex with confidence and security feeling. A-Yao's attitude always made NiaoNiao feel wanted and worthy. the two of them could also share the burden together without much debate. And that was more important to than prestige or luxury. As NiaoNiao said to her parents when they asked her about her relationship with general Ling, "What's a joke? You guys always criticize me for my unruly behaviour. Where did you get the confidence that i made Ling Buyi fell for me? Even if Ling Buyi did fall for me, I only know that A-Yao was the only person who proposed to me." After all, NiaoNiao's reasoning was very make sense. Where her lives in an era that a man who truly has feelings for a girl should he come to propose to the parents in the family.
