And I noticed more and more that CSS is a really naturally intelligent and open-minded girl, when she was on the train and she had a discussion with her mother about A-Yao and her family - at the beginning of ep 18. The confidence and wisdom in her answer was amazing when compared with her young age.

Yep. For whatever reason, in whenever era, I think comparing a kid's personality with another kid is a bad example of parenting. It will obviously have a negative effect on a child's psychology. And I'm grateful because a CSS is told as a girl with a strong mindset and personality.

I think there's more of a tragic side to this episode (12th ep). The interaction between FL and ML felt closer, especially from LBY's side, his attitude and body language felt more intense to thrust himself into CSS.

The third uncle is really kind of fluky kismet. When the group was in a life-and-death situation, the third uncle around safely and still had time to faint several times otw🤦‍♀️😅🤣.

I really can't wait for the next episode, how they will handle Hua County's dire situation, after the Fan Chang rebellion.

I actually feel it doesn't seem right to call it unnatural. I think that the strange, stiff and cold expression that LBY always shows tends to resemble a person who has experienced the effects of a great trauma. I know maybe at that time the concepts of PTSD and Bipolar had not been created, but seeing several scenes about his childhood displaying bad memories, I guessed about that possibility.
