Man-Trisanu Soranun is here? OKAY I'm in! He's such a dreamboat! And I love Dark Humor!
This series is insane! Thought provoking and certainly not for the faint hearted BL/Kdrama regulars. Please stick to the basic rom-coms that you are used to. After-all this is a Thai Netflix production and I expect edginess and gritty dark humor. I haven’t watch the OG movie but maybe will try to check it out after finishing this.
Davika is everything. Beautiful and yet unafraid to show the ugly side of her character Toom. Such a Queen! She is hypnotic and at times very sympathetic. You just just want to go on her journey to see how far she will go to fight for money in a very stressful dire time of our lives. I was surprised to see a Pandemic drama here but hey it was a crazy dark time to even reflect on it now. The craziness in this series is just perfect way to express those emotions. The absurdity works to digest all the confusions we felt during that time and even come out of post-pandemic recovery.
Same with ManTrisanu's sexy scenes. I wanted more scenes! He really goes all the way and I like that for actors that takes the opportunity and run! I hope to see more projects from him but this was a perfect series to show another side of his acting skills. Please cast him in more projects Thai casting directors!
Foei was a bit annoying and I wish they could have his scenes cut because it was a little bit of a drag to see his scenes. Luckily, we have a whole cast of kooky characters to keep us entertained and challenge our sanity. Cinematography is stunning!
What happened to my Khondiao? Why are you suddenly so unsure about Yi? Yi's so smitten with you and you don't even want to initiate 'finger pointing' with him when he wanted some intimacy? Excuse me, this is not Minato Shouji Coin Laundry Season 2 okay? Cold shoulder treatments and now amnesia? ARE U KIDDING ME? What exactly had Yi done wrong to Diao? He doesn't deserved to be given the cold shoulder from Diao. He's such a hardworking boyfriend trying his best to work hard to provide more for Diao and he is waiting for a proper time to get married and now he' s in a crash because Diao wants to be alone to see the cows in Switzerland all of a sudden? They need to communicate more! What is happening to my beloved characters? I expected more maturity and development in their love. I want to see domestic life and not Diao having a crying fit fall at Suvarnabhumi Airport! WHAT A MESS! By the way, Daddy Makorn yes sir why am I looking more at you too Zaddy? Stop teasing me with your Tai Chi Kung Fu Martial arts moves you sexy Daddy! 😭
Oh wow! I really really like the 2nd couple Sun Woo and Yoo Kyeom! They have some serious chemistry going on and their eye acting is so good! I got goosebumps when they kissed while at the restaurant. There's so much sweetness and tenderness! I'll probably watch this for the 2nd couple from now on.
Not gonna even compare this to the Thai version because they are totally different in vibes and style. Out of the four actors, I think the Ji Oh character needs to be further developed. I hope next week Lee Ye Hwan will show us more range than this 4 episodes or else I'm just gonna watch the 2nd couple because they do have a better screen presence than the two main leads.
I watched this first episode because I needed something new to cleanse my BL palate with a slate of unknown BL newcomers. This was tolerable compared to the recent BL duds. We have another BL set in a supermarket just like 'Love In Translation' currently playing at the same time. Luckily the plot is not hidden and the characters' agendas were easy to follow. The sex scenes of Janus and his bf was kinda comical and hilariously campy. It feels like a sitcom-ish vibe with the dialogue and I was surprised by the decent acting from Cheque and Tontae who played brothers. I feel this could be a shorter episode as some scenes lingered on too long. I see that the Doctor Sky is trying to reconciled with Venus and may have broken his heart before. I like this pairing and would like to see more their story. Gonna give this another chance next week.
I’m really shocked about Hidden Agenda honestly. Be My Favourite was an absolute gem - the writing was *impeccable*.…
I was expecting more because I'm a JD fan but since there's nothing much to see now I'm just watching for their romantic scenes. This series is best way for me to drift into sleep.
This series definitely needs to be admitted to the ICU of the best hospital in the world because it is seriously…
I said the same things before and was unfairly attacked and cyber bullied by fangirls like Nara and a MrsEclipse acct here with their nasty long lengthy nonsensical essays. Coz God forbid we have a different opinion here even tho we are also JD fans? Lucky I was able to block them but they do make this forum a little more childish, toxic and difficult for anyone of us to express our opinions. They have truly made this place a little bit restrictive and wary for anyone to express their views freely.
I like JD but I really hope they get better projects. Dunk needs to go for more supporting roles to train his acting skills too. I believe he can be a better actor with more side projects. Supporting cast were fantastic in their roles!
I love the message of this series. In the end, finding love and protecting love at every cost. I love their chemistry so much! Film and Jam brings this to another level. They know their characters well and went all the way, Their acting is just so natural and not awkward like many BL actors are. They are confident in their skin to fully bring their characters to screen. I want more projects with them. They have a winning formula! Please collab more in the future! The BL world needs more passionate and committed actors like Film and Jam. It is an art to watch these two act together! I love our supportive strong powerful girls Rose and Maya! They are the moment! My Queens! Nawin such a riot character! You are hilarious! Hope you find a partner soon too! I love Tinn's Grandmother. So accepting and so sweet! Touching scene of her with Charn and Tin. Thaenthai and Thee, I'm happy for them to be together. Everything ends well. This series really sparks so much joy for me. Deserves higher ratings!!! One of the best BLs of the year too!
This is one of the best BLs of 2023! So Sweet, heartfelt and adorable! The leads have such a beautiful chemistry. Their kisses are so affectionate and full of love!
They made me care so much about their relationship and it's very touching at times. In fact, I'm re-watching this again because I can't let go of these characters! Fantastic writing, acting, direction, cinematography and music! I love the music so much!
The theme song and the ending credits song captured this love story so perfectly. Especially it is sung by a male singer who can emote the emotions of these two guys!
Always find it weird to have a female singer singing a love theme for a BL series as it cuts me out of the story immediately. Bravo to the music department! Can we have a Season 2? I want to see these two actors again in another project!!! Deserves higher ratings!!!!
According to the Space held by the director and producer today, the shaky camera shots in this ep are ad-libs,…
And now we know! quite brave for them to include this in a professional tv series but oh boy I was watching this last night with a glass of red and was kinda almost drifting into dreamland haha. I love their chemistry so much it’s so adorable! feels like first love kinda vibes! 😍🍷
I thought it was interesting that they went on a date in Chinatown, because I had no idea until now that there…
if you wiki it, you can learn more about the history of trade between China and Japan. it’s real fascinating fact to read! I think that’s Yokohama and have lots of interesting street food there I was there too for a cruise holiday and I enjoyed discovering another part of Japan.
Apart from some shaky camera shots making me a little dizzy earlier at the street food scenes, I kinda like their date scenes. Its nice to see them trying to understand each other more. If only people would open up and communicate more their feelings to their partners. Who knew buying bedsheets can be so romantic and sexy?
This episode sweetened all the bitterness I felt after watching the latest episode of Minato Shouji Coin Laundry Season 2. I like the tension between these two leads and I hope this gets better and better! Such a cute couple!!!
Happy for Yiwa and Marine getting married in London! Happy for Lom’s mother accepting his relationship with Nuea! So I guess the wedding plan was an escape plan for Yiwa. If people don’t accept the way they are, I guess making a big lie about the whole losing a runaway bride and nursing a broken heart works.
Some people really don’t deserve or don’t need to know the whole truth and that’s okay. Something that is realistic in real life too. So many people live a life of lies too. And that's okay if you do it to protect your loved ones from further stress. Overall I love the two main leads! They have such a wonderful sweet chemistry and I hope to see them in more projects in the future! MAME really found two good leads especially in Pak! He is really one of the best newcomer of the year!
When out of story ideas, throw in some amnesia! Seriously, what is the purpose of Season 2? Instead of rewarding viewers, it seems to be trolling faithful viewers week after week. Perhaps they should consider letting an AI write it's script? Instead of using this season to explore a proper age gap queer love story, we are stuck with an older guy who seems to be suffering from some form of arrested development, and a younger guy who is more mature and sensible but yet struggling to get the kind of affection he craves from his older bf. Older guys are supposed to be more generous and giving in affection. Just like the amnesia plot, the writers had forgotten about their faithful viewers. My heart is kinda broken by this season. Seriously what is this?!!!
They will release a version of the ending song by a male singer (who sung the opening song), labelled as "hidden…
Oh nice! Thank you very much for this information! I will look forward to listening to that song too! Great to know this!!!! This version is also locked in my Apple Music too so I will wait patiently for its release soon! :)
First of all why so short? This is not Korean BL right? I'll just take this as another version of HIStory Trapped mixed with a bit of KinnPorsche vibes. Discounting the silly stockholm-ish situation they met, I guess they developed 'real' feelings for each other. Ok whatever floats your boat lady writer I guess? To each his (or her) own I guess.
The acting is still a bit awkward still and I still haven't find any chemistry between this two main leads, whereas the second CP I felt something real and sweet. I'm more interested in that story. I rewatched Ep 1 again when Chen Yi went to pick up Eddie from jail. Yes it's there, the chemistry is still there. I'm more drawn to that story! There’s chemistry here!
As for the ending OST song and nothing against female singers as I do love my divas very much, but I felt like I'm being taken out of this gangster reality with the female singer. I know she has been singing for a couple of Taiwanese BLs and we all need our allies, but please do hear my view as I'm watching this as a gay guy. Yes, she may have a nice voice but in this context, I felt a male singer would be more suitable for a gangster theme series like this. For example, like Eason Lee's song in another Taiwan BL 'Stay By My Side', where he has a more male emotional depth to convey the male characters. Besides, there’s only male characters here in this story and the female singer just took me out of this story straight away and left me feeling quite disconnected and empty afterwards. They have to remember the viewers are still feeling the male affection vibes of these characters too.
Still, I'm watching this for the eye candies and hopefully more story development next week for ZeRui and ZongYi.
So I was right when Kevin finally man up and divorced his toxic wife and went back to re-pursue Archie. So glad for this couple. But I wished they would had been more clear about this as a 'Preview', when they first drop this series on Youtube because I felt really confused by the end. It felt disjointed and hastily edited together. Since this is now considered a 'Preview' by the production house, then I hope they will remake Damien and Hayden's story because they have the most chemistry among the 3 couples. I love the contrast of the alpha tattoo hunk and a typical twink guy. This is really refreshing take on gay couples and I love to see more of this depiction in the media. I want to see these two characters fully developed and I love the grandma character too. I find her very endearing and hope they will expand more on that.
I really have no interest in Archie and Kevin's story because this kind of story have been done so many times, often at the expense of the female characters too. It take two to clap and I don't think in 2023, a man can be forced to get married to another woman because of a one night stand mistake. We are all adults here after-all. In this case, it seems like the woman had violated Kevin as he was drunk. Enough of this trope already! Can we just focus on one proper queer story?
As for the straight couple, I have no idea why they were there. Equally confused and I have no interest in their story at all. Their story felt like it's written by an AI.
Camera work and cinematography are really good so please use the same team again! Looking forward to their new remake then with expanded screen time episodes and OST songs!
This episode is sweetness overload I love that Daddy Mueang is taking care of his little son Punn and making sure to bring along Doctor Nam too for some nice sizzling hot winter vacay. Such a Daddy! Love his NC scenes with Doctor. Bosston, I need more BL projects from you! So hot! JaFirst are just so beautiful together and I do appreciate the condom PSA. Now this show makes me wanna go back to Japan again in winter to visit their onsens.
May be she knew Yang very well and knew he want to do his businesses and may be she knew he is into guys but hope…
yes judging from the looks they exchanged at the supermarket. Lets hope she is not the fiancee or else this will be another Wedding Plan+Jun & Jun situation. or maybe she's the ex-girlfriend? LOL
He's such a dreamboat! And I love Dark Humor!
