I must say Pak's acting is really impressive for a newbie. He probably did a lot of acting training because there's no way you're telling me that this is his first main series? It's giving me so much emotional depth for a gay guy being caught in another messy situation like an arranged marriage of another guy like Lom. I just watched the BTS for this episode on their Youtube channel and Pak thought he did a bad job with the emotional scenes but MAME and the other lady director were so patient and kind to guide him set his emotions right for the scene. I must say, it's nice to see these ladies helping to develop the next generation of BL actors with such compassion and kindness. Best BL Newcomer of the year for him!
The trip to Chiang Mai is a nice change of scenery for Nuea. I'm glad he had some quality time with his mother. Of course he is going home so he wouldn't need to bring such stuff? I mean it's just a regional vacay anyway. Why are we even nick-picking this? This is not a documentary right?
I'm glad Nuea's got such a supportive caring mom. And I'm glad his mates were there to cheer him up during his stay in Chiang Mai.
I don't get the hate some of you have even for the sponsors? It's quite normal for any dramas to have sponsor ads in the show. It's won't be a Thai BL if we don't have our sponsors. Most GMMTV BLs also have sponsors in their shows but I don't see some of the GMMTV fangirls complaining about it? Why the double standards? They have Texas Chicken there too? Some even had live stream advertising promo with KFC? So why specifically only hate the sponsor for this show then?
This episode reminded me of my multiple trips to Chiang Mai too. Such a beautiful place and of course there are McDonald's restaurants there. In fact, I did went to the Chiang Mai Night Bazarre's outlet a few times too since they are open till late I think they are open for like 24 hours like most Asian McD's. I was there for McD's breakfast and they do have Thai menu specifically for McD's like chicken congee. Gotta love Asian McD. They always have special delicious menu. So, it's a very nice and encouraging to see big corporation like McDonald's supporting this BL. One can only hope more of these BL shows gets made which means more visibility for queer issues.
As for our lesbians, I do hope Yiwa and Marine sort out their situation too. Especially now we know this is all Yiwa's idea. Marine deserves to be treated the right way too and not be caught in this kind of lie. I get Nuea's POV as a gay guy myself, I did date a guy who had to suddenly tell me that he has to get married one day. Nobody likes to be sidelined like that. Nuea didn't even deserved to be caught up in this situation. Also, I hope Lom really sort his silly arrangement with Yiwa because if I were Nuea, I would never want to be caught in this mess. Fun fact: The music's kinda similar to 'Step By Step'. They used Adelyn Paik's "Can you Hear My Heart" in one of the scene in 'Step By Step' too.
As a Queer guy watching this, I have no problem visiting this story week after week, this is a nice distraction for me at night to unwind and watch. I appreciate the effort they put in to produce this Queer drama, as someone from the film industry myself, I already know it's already very difficult to find funding etc to put in a production together.

As for the story this week, I supposed the school scenes kinda reminded me of my school days and with social media now, I can't imagine the stress that closeted kids have to go through in school. Especially with peer pressure around.
I'm kinda scared this story here is a bit like my own story back in school days! I did encountered an evil girl too back in school, who had done several despicable things to me and another boycrush. She basically inserted herself into OUR narrative and ends up ruining my friendship with that guy. But that's another story, another time. Yes there are evil people everywhere, including evil girls! Hence, seeing this trope appear in many BL series, I always get a bit reflective especially when it comes to my own lived experiences.
If you are impatient you can skip this and wait for them to finish the whole series online. But as a queer guy, I am gonna support this independent release week after week.
Ja and First have such a beautiful chemistry and this is the most endearing characters for them! Their acting is just so natural and yet subtle. I just hope this will not be the last project for them because they do really have a winning formula in their ship. The plot is nothing much at this point so I’m just relaxing and indulging myself on the romantic vibes of this couple. So romantic and brought back some memories of young queer love in Ep7. Bubble bath moment was so adorable! Ashi telling Pun's family is such a beautiful scene. Let's hope more families are as accepting as this lovely family.
Ok so I just finished this show unfortunately which means I will be missing the two leads here. They have so much chemistry! The way they looked at each other in the eyes, the tears they shed and shared with each other? The confessions, tight hugs and kisses? C'mon! And they did not overact like most BL actors are prone to do. Nuanced and very natural acting in their performance!
In the stillness of love, when they are sharing quiet moments together, it's just so romantic and realistic. Since there are so many different genres of BL shows and if you want to experience romance and unconditional young love, this is for you.
Those who don't get the hype, should just put down their phones for once and just focus on the performances of these actors. I get the hype and so did many other longtime BL watchers. Hoping to see more projects from these two Korean actors. This is gonna be one of those class Korean BLs that I would revisit again, much like 'Semantic Error'. I suspect there might be a movie version in the future? Lettuce Pray!
Before watching this, I was thinking this is gonna be like the GMMTV 'He's Coming To Me' vibes throughout the film. Indeed it is! With some of the similar plots like helping to solve the mystery of the death. The CGI was kinda cartoony and the homophobic and gay stereotypes were everywhere with the Jolin Tsai songs used in comedic moments. I actually guessed who was the mole of the show earlier because of Wu's misogynistic comments to another co-worker. If you are looking for pure BL elements here, you can forget about it. It's more like a classic and literally buddy cop film. Except this time, the buddy is the ghost. It was really eye opening and interesting to see how a ghost wedding is like tho. And this was surprisingly touching film similar to the feels I got after watching 'He's Coming To Me' during the reincarnation crossover scenes. I really felt so touched in that moment. Maybe there was some kind of feelings develop between them but not the romantic sense. More of a brotherly type of love since Wu is now including Mao's family in his life because he helped to solve the mystery.
Hey I expect the CGI effects to be like this as this show is a bit Lakorn-ish in style and I want it that way. I need my Lakorn fix and this show simply delivers! The acting from this cast is also another level. From the Grandma giving me so much emotional feels, Maya and Rose from the club forming a Scooby Doo gang-like with Charn to investigate for Tinn. Fantastic! Yas Queens! This show certainly knows it's audience and rewards us generously! Film and Jam are just so sweet and tender together. I love this pairing so much and I hope they keep giving us more projects together. Their friendship with each other off-screen is just so beautiful. On screen, they have the perfect chemistry that many shows don't even have. I want more episodes! Can we have more?
I'm halfway tru this show but I don't wanna finish it so soon! Happy with the story and the acting here is really good. Seriously one of the better Korean BL of the year! The songs are beautiful too! This series touched my heart with the first love betrayal plot and I hope Ba Ram opens his heart to Han Tae soon.
Wow Wow WOW! Impressive hot first EP! Everything that's missing in the Thai BL space right now. Sensuality! And a couple of Sex here, there and almost there! Neo and Mark as Boston and Nick respectively, naughty naughty! Neo is such a underrated actor and I'm so glad to see him showcase more of his acting skills. Why is Drake a guest actor here? I wanted more of his scenes. What happened to him? And I guess Boston and Top once hooked up while they were talking at the washing basin? Add in some jealousy? I'm here for the MESS!!! Force Book are cute. At least their acting improved. I saw their romantic chemistry in their eyes. Unlike the other 'newbies' in their cohort, they have improved a lot from their last series to now! Both looked so comfortable in these characters. This is progression and now I can enjoy their characters. Mew is really making Top earn his love so hard. Cute!!! And then we have First and Khao, two BL powerhouses here to show why they are one of the bests in GMMTV. Their scenes are just so captivating! Such a delight! Love my OG BL Queen P'Jennie's cameo, missing her scenes in BL series. She will forever be the Moment in any show! Keep it up! I hope this series will become better and better!
One of the most reflective, heartfelt and romantic Thai BL of the year. This series caught my heart unexpectedly right from Ep1 and I am so happy to see Krist and Gawin here performing to their fullest potential.
I saw two human beings committing to love despite knowing come what may. The confessions of love between them in this episode is one of the most tender and intimate expressions of love between two guys. They do kiss so romantically and all, but the most intimate was when they held their hands and simply just shared their most innermost truths with each other.
At the end of the day, sitting with a loved one quietly and watching the sunset, is one of the most genuine and beautiful scene I had ever seen in a BL series. So relatable to me as I still do that with my partner too at the beach where we get to enjoy each other company without saying much and just spending time together!
I'm so happy for Pear. She found her own happiness and I wish her a beautiful marriage with James. Aye is such a fantastic actress and Pear is forever my BL Queen! She is forever iconic in everything that she did in this show! Her maturity and kindness just simply elevates this show to another level!
Thank you GMMTV for putting these experienced actors in this production! The acting here from the cast is such a gift for a long time BL watcher like me, where I was so disillusioned with the quality of recent new Thai BL dramas airing the same weekend. This will be the blueprint of how a BL should be. With acting skills the main priority! The current class of GMMTV 'newbies' should really take a few acting lessons from the cast here.
Nothing is hiding their eyes, nothing is hidden on their faces and they let their acting shine on screen. Krist and Gawin’s eyes emotes so much feelings from their characters! Honey, you barely have enough time to process these plots in one episode, so better please make up your mind and get this show it's identity back! So many subplots, lets just get back to the story! What kind of story are you trying to tell us? Long lost love found? We need something more substantial next week besides the eye candies here. A weak ep 4 episode this week, quite a contrast to the past 3 eps. Re-adjusted my rating now. 7/10

As an actual gay Asian myself watching this, I have no problem watching these flawed characters, because why would I want to watch a sanitized show where every character is 'perfect, clean and PC'?
Contrary to some BL fangirls' negative opinions, the script is very well-written and explored! I'm waiting for more details to be revealed! For goodness sake, this is a DRAMA series. Of course there will be drama here! Thats why they want you to come back week after week to watch this series!
Manipulation, arranged marriages, lying and hiding secrets from traditional Asian families, hiding secrets from secret lovers, drunk sex and etc. Please, I don't need shows to be 'preachy' by adding sex protection themes like condom use or prep into the plots because that is already understood by the gay community. For this series, I just need to see how they will navigate this dilemma.
Because I have seen these stories from either friends of mine or personal experience. I even dated guys who had to settle down in the future because of their conservative family. They only revealed to me many months later when they said they had to get married for family reasons. That's why this series relate to me so much . MAME really did her research and for that I must commend her. In fact, this is the most realistic portrayal of these people because I have seen and experienced even worst than these stories too. I felt my queer voice heard no one can say otherwise unless they themselves walked in our shoes and is not afraid to address these.
Real life is even more bizarre and toxic than this. MAME including these here is very much appreciated. I don’t care what the typical BL fangirls are saying but as an actual lgbtq person here, I can certainly relate to these.
Nuea is such a pure guy. Lom doesn't deserves to be with Nuea because he really has to settle whatever issues he has with his family because what he is doing to Nuea is pure selfishness. That is really not love, but lust. I wished Nuea is a bit more assertive but he too is flawed and struggling with his own emotions.
Pak Naphat is such a good actor. This is his first role? Wow! Impressive debut for a newbie with such a natural acting skill! He’s definitely better than some other BL newbies from huge corporations, and thou they even have 3 or 4th main roles series but they still struggles to act at all.
As for the GL couple, I am giving them the grace to show us more. I love my lesbian sisters and Marine and Yiwa must be going through a lot of stress too. Especially for Marine, having her love be married to another guy and she can't do anything. That GL kiss was a bit meh thou. Director could have let them practice more. Unless Marine was thinking about other things in her head when she kissed Yiwa?
As for product placement, it wouldn't be a BL if we don't see an ad here and there. I mean give them a break for including these sponsors! I'm glad we have corporations backing these BL shows! Also, McDonald's like such a common date place too for everyone. I don't even see the fuss about nick-picking this.
If you don’t like this show just watch one of your starter or basic BL shows then. There’s plenty of eye candies for you to fawn over.
I must say after watching 5 episodes, this show is like the UK reality series "I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse" but this time they have actors being put into this zombie situation and they have to improvise as they go along. I can see them trying to break out in laughter during some of the challenges but I think it's a silly fun 'SNL' type of show too. I mean what will you do in this situation? Will you really sacrifice your life to save another stranger?
Trailer is giving all the feels that I needed from the recent stench of recent Thai BLs. How nice to see another batch of experienced BL actors giving us everything we need at this time! 'Be My Favorite' was another stunning GMMTV BL series saving me so I can't wait really! Looks amazing! Another adorable Ep6! So much kisses and affection. I love the intensity and the emotions they shared in this episode too. Their acting is so natural and intimate. Can tell they are very comfortable to show affection to each other onscreen and even off-screen where their fan service is off the charts here! Lets hope next week Bu Xia will make clear his true feelings with Jiang Chi. I'm very sure Jiang Chi will accept him when he confesses to him about his ghost ability. Only complaint is that it's too short an episode!

Because I have seen these stories from either friends of mine or personal experience. I even dated guys who had to settle down in the future because of their conservative family. They only revealed to me many months later when they said they had to get married for family reasons. That's why this series relate to me so much . MAME really did her research and for that I must commend her. In fact, this is the most realistic portrayal of these people because I have seen and experienced even worst than these stories too. I felt my queer voice heard no one can say otherwise unless they themselves walked in our shoes and is not afraid to address these.
Real life is even more bizarre and toxic than this. MAME including these here is very much appreciated. I don’t care what the typical BL fangirls are saying but as an actual lgbtq person here, I can certainly relate to these.
Nuea is such a pure guy. Lom doesn't deserves to be with Nuea because he really has to settle whatever issues he has with his family because what he is doing to Nuea is pure selfishness. That is really not love, but lust. I wished Nuea is a bit more assertive but he too is flawed and struggling with his own emotions.
Pak Naphat is such a good actor. This is his first role? Wow! Impressive debut for a newbie with such a natural acting skill! He’s definitely better than some other BL newbies from huge corporations, and thou they even have 3 or 4th main roles series but they still struggles to act at all.
As for the GL couple, I am giving them the grace to show us more. I love my lesbian sisters and Marine and Yiwa must be going through a lot of stress too. Especially for Marine, having her love be married to another guy and she can't do anything. That GL kiss was a bit meh thou. Director could have let them practice more. Unless Marine was thinking about other things in her head when she kissed Yiwa?
As for product placement, it wouldn't be a BL if we don't see an ad here and there. I mean give them a break for including these sponsors! I'm glad we have corporations backing these BL shows! Also, McDonald's like such a common date place too for everyone. I don't even see the fuss about nick-picking this.
If you don’t like this show just watch one of your starter or basic BL shows then. There’s plenty of eye candies for you to fawn over.
'Be My Favorite' was another stunning GMMTV BL series saving me so I can't wait really! Looks amazing! Looking forward to seeing new Perth and Chimon content! so glad GMMTV did not forget their experienced actors too!
