first act of the film was serious and reflective.
second act was action packed and entertaining.
third act was like those Japanese gozilla monster films.
overall i was laughing and i guess it did it's job to make my day better.

yeah i noticed that this production she was holding back on those themes (but it's still early to say) and concentrating on the production values.

Often very hard to find other gay guys here and our voices are often drowned by some erratic fangirls who are not ready to listen to our POV. They would just like to gang up with other users here and bully the hell out of every 'negative' comments that they see without even wanting to accept our opinions (see the latest GMMTV show i don't want to name).

I know BL genre caters to them but they do have queer themes, which are made at our expense! I had seen some BTS clips of MAME making this series and she seemed to be a very hardworking producer who wants to have the best shots for her shows. She really wanted to capture a sunset shot for her series but often didn't get it but for this series, she did it. In case she is reading this, it was a beautiful sunset shot MAME!
I know I know, her stories were problematic but lets hope she changes for the better for these upcoming adaptations. We only want to see progress and not be caught in the 'sins' of our pasts.

I can't believe this is Pak's first drama series! Ever? Wow!
For a debut role, he really shines in this show! Impressive find MAME! His eye acting brings so much conviction and emotions to his character Namnuea, who is caught in between the struggles of balancing work and love with another client, who is confusing the hell out of him. Sunny complements him so well and their chemistry shines. Very handsome couple indeed! Both of them carried this show so perfectly!

I love the GL couple too! Yiwa and Marine. Such a beautiful couple too!
As a GAY GUY myself, I can definitely relate to the struggles of being in the closet to your loved ones. How many times have I met and dated guys who have to maintain a straight profile to their loved ones, while I have to juggle with my emotions and practicality of pursuing that relationship. I'm surprised that MAME included these themes here! And tho it may not presents the whole gay community but you cannot just deny that this is not relatable part of the queer community but it is a fact of life for many closeted cases. They actually made me care so much for them!

Enjoying the adult working themes in this series too. Such a cure from past BL office romance series like 'Step By Step' and 'A Boss and A Babe'. MAME really casted well for this series and all of them have such natural acting skills so all I can do is just relax and let them bring the story to us.The actors must have done a lot of workshops!

I hope more gets reveal soon on the whole plot of this show but right now I'm just enjoying and emotionally connecting to the different stories from these characters.

Yes so true! Thats why I wanted to read the novel to get the whole story. Such a pity really because they really excluded a lot of storylines which a lot of people are craving for to see onscreen. Just wish the direction of this series could be a little bit better.

So true! I don't understand the hate that Ben got here ,this is after-all his first show and he delivered as far as I'm concerned, because I had read the novels.
Pat is exactly like that (and even worst in the novels).
So unfair to judge him because he was doing exactly what the character is.
They didn't even cover much of the romance of Jeng and Pat. There were so many romantic stories in the novels and they left it out. Focus on too much on that Forge campaign and the ex BF which was a small portion of the whole story. I wanted more of them after they got together. I wanna see them juggle between work and romance. The challenges they faced from family and the romantic getaways and trips. I wanna see the proposal and the wedding too.
I felt robbed too when they don't resolved the Jaab and Jane story. Really hope they have a special EP to address that!

Technically this is his 3rd main show as a main lead and he started in this industry 5 years ago in 2018. There’s so many people here with the same sentiment as me. I love his previous shows but this one is definitely a drop in terms of acting.

I was about to give this show a chance and wait out the weird acting in the earlier episodes to see what story the director was gonna to tell us about the hidden agenda. But now, I am gonna drop this show now.

And I appreciate the earlier comments from other rational unbiased experienced BL viewers who have been watching BL for years and basically sharing their brave honest opinions here, despite risking being attacked by these childish fangirls.

This is not their first lead show and there's no excuse for this kind of acting from Dunk. He is not a newbie anymore as he started in this industry FIVE years ago! The disparity is glaring. Look they look so cute together but I felt so stressed whenever Dunk's scenes comes on. It's a struggle bus to see him trying to emote and deliver his lines!

You can literally feel him trying to think, memorize the lines in his head, jerk weirdly his head to stress a point or giving strange winks. And that hair covering his left eye where we can't even see his full expression? Poor kid! Especially when the script is really badly written with not much of a plot to focus on, you will see the obvious. Dunk probably needs more acting classes and it's good that he is still young! I believe giving him a few projects as a side character will help him develop more acting skills and confidence.

Hopefully GMMTV will not forget their experienced actors too. This supporting cast is fantastic! Their natural delivery and performance with Joong, may just saved the weak recycled plot week after week! Louis just lights up the screen and his fantastic acting is so wasted here! GMMTV, its time to shake things up. We only want the best for these young artists! We want to see them shine too!

Adorable and hilarious.
The two leads have such amazing chemistry and ease with each other.
They were comfortable in expressing same sex affection here.
You can tell they did a lot of homework and workshops together.

The story is interesting because of the supernatural element but it's not that scary.
More like the ghosts were just teasing Bu Xia.
Jiang Chi is cool and confident. Affectionate and proactive when he wants to express his feelings.
My heart just melts as he kisses Bu Xia.

The acting is just right for the tone of this show.

HIStorically, I usually have huge reservation when it comes to Taiwanese BL because sometimes the delivery of the lines seemed forced and over exaggerated. Most of them were like shouting over each other.

But lucky for this series , the actors were able to balance it according to the plot. Subtle and tender when it needs to be, campy and fun when the scene requires it to be.

Just what I needed right now to relax at the end of the day.
But once a week now is too long a wait too!

I love this cast.
Everyone just disappeared into their characters.
And this week was a cute ep.
I needed this week's EP to wash away the stains of recent bad BL dramas.

Pear is a Queen.
Aye is the Ultimate Moment, the Queen of all BL Queens.
Krist and Fluke Gawin are so fantastic in their lead roles.
They are so comfortable in showing same sex affection.
This is what experienced acting is all about.
Their eye acting.

Just as I said last week, this is like the Lee Ang's Wedding Banquet but MAME added in with another GL couple.
And here we go with the struggles of arranged marriages, approved cheating/dating on both sides (made explicitly this week with the GL couple) and lies!

Lies and more lies! How tiring but a true concept of life.
How often do we lie to our family, our lovers and ourselves?
Why is that much difficult to live an honest life true to ourselves without letting our loved ones down?
Are we doing it for them or for us?
Or for strangers who don't even give a F about us in the first place?

MAME I do hope you explore more of these themes.
Many families still have issues with their lgbtq kids coming out and having their expectations dashed. I hope we get more of this from the families but since this series is short, I have lower expectations.
But I do want to be surprised!

And will I trust another guy who lied to me initially just to get to know me?
Namnuea I hope you get an honest answer from Lom next week.

Season 2 is really pointless.
I don't understand the high rating here.

We get the same coy erratic behavior from Minato towards Shin.
At this point it screams a toxic relationship.
Red flags!!!!

I have dated Japanese guys before and this is definitely not the way you treat someone you love.
Please don't tell me that this drama is a reflection of the typical Japanese culture or Asian culture don't express love etc.
Not really.
Not all Japanese guys are like this.
There are passionate Japanese guys too who are living their lives to the best of their truths.

I'm Asian and I have dated Japanese guys too.
So this is my POV sharing my lived experienced as a Queer Asian who had lived in Japan before.
Real Japanese gays do say 'I love you' to each other and will express their feelings.
Real Asian gays do tell each other their feelings and will definitely hug and hold hands even in private settings like home.

Of course my relationship did not work out due to long distance issues (we really tried but it was too much stress for us) but I remember whenever we are together, we would always make it an effort to make each other feel good via words or physical touch.

Back to this drama.
It feels like its regressing backwards. I don't understand the issues here!
If Minato doesn't feel comfortable for dating a young adult like Shin, then he should tell Shin. Don't lead him on with this passive aggressive behavior.
It just screams manipulation.

There is no Chemistry in this season.
If the actors have problems with showing intimacy for a gay relationship, then probably don't participate in this drama!
Something must have happened during the production of
this season 2.
The distain in their eyes when they look at each other at some scenes just tells me that the actors don't really enjoy it anymore.

So.. what is the purpose of Season 2?
Only watch this if you want to waste your time.
