9.2 really??? do people have such a low standard??? theres better time travel kdramas out there and yall choose…
there are so many great time travel rom/coms produced by other countries, but i think korea did great regarding this one. also, i think it's because there are so many layers of this drama and it' gets somewhat complicated unless you follow through, but they made it so light throughout the whole series. it was never got too dark and that's really hard to maintain. often, rom/coms that are mixed with other genres gets serious in the end and is no longer a comedy, but lovely runner did such an amazing job withholding all three genres till the very end.
i understand that there are better ones, but we also have to think about the run time. so much of it was cut in the final. Taesung's back story was cut which is disappointing and the lack of motivation from the killer was also disappointing. however because of the different personalities of the characters and the acting, it was so addicting. the story line is so nicely paced. not to quick, not to fast. the plot i would say is not perfect, but it's enough for us to get hooked and hype it.
there are so many holes regarding the character's motivation especially the killer. however, it is so nicely paced and the characters are refreshing which makes it addicting to watch. also- i've never had a drama which made me laugh out loud, but this one did. the emotions that this drama put me in as a viewer is highly impressive. i fully recommend the drama if you're looking for a break from the stark dramas that have been releasing these days.
as someone who has a bachelor in film.. the cinematography is SO GOOD esp the lighting.. I'm so impressed - hope that they actually keep it up and not go downhill
fascinating on how the first season Minato looked "normal" and Shin looks too calm and cold but in this season Shin is the one who looks "normal" and Minato looks super nervous and jumpy
funfact: on a live, he stated that his name was Kristoffer in Danish, also said that his Danish surname is Brandt in a fanmeeting. (I'm assuming that Kristoffer Brandt is his full Danish name)
