This is very slow paced but the end of ep16 was so sad - I could feel Lu Chen’s pain and I admit my eyes were sweating a little. This is not for eveyone for sure but I am in need of this type of love story right now.
If you want an open ending - fine, but this is not an open ending! That was ridiculously stupid! This 38 episode drama deserves more than “It’s been a long time” in the last 2 minutes. In that last 2 minutes we see Sheng Huai Nan for the first time in over 5 years and he says “It’s been a long time”??? Give me a break! I enjoyed it for the most part but I’m taking away points for that ending!!!

I read below that the little boy dies later in the drama and that's heartbreaking so don't want to continue if it ruins the whole storyline. Should I continue with the drama?

I'm really enjoying this drama - major fan of Jung Kyung Ho - I don't think I've seen Jeon Do Yeon before but she's playing her role very well.
Question - is education in Korea really THIS t bad? Are parents and teachers really this brutal, dishonest and backstabbing anyone and everyone to make sure their kids get the best education and come out on top - even if their children suffer tremendously? We've all seen it many many times in our favorite dramas but if it's really THIS bad?
I hope the ML’s are together at the end and the last scene is 10 years from now and we see them with a handful of kids and Eun Beom is a doting dad…..but they are worlds apart in their way of thinking so I just don’t see it happening. Hope I’m totally wrong.
Started watching this a few days ago but had to put it aside for a few days because…..well life got in the way. I just finished episode 1 and already totally hooked. Can’t wait to binge watch tomorrow !
Rewatching this again - won’t even attempt to guess how many times I’ve watched it. I watch this when I have a dry spell or when a drama I’ve finished disappoints. My Love Eun Dong is one of the first of a couple hundred kdramas I’ve watched and still rate it in my top 5 of all time. Such a beautiful story but sad at the same time.
There were parts I loved but more parts that I hated!!! IMO the acting from all the cast members was incredible, the OST was beautiful but the writing felt like a first time amateur….it could have been so much better. Don’t understand the ending - maybe they left it open for another season? It breaks my heart cause I adore YYS but it just fell flat.
I keep getting fuzzy warm feelings for Eun Beom. In the beginning I thought he was an asshole but then I keep finding myself smiling when he's on the screen......can't explain why - it's just something about him that pulls at my heart strings. I am behind a couple of episodes so I'm hoping my instinct is on target and he's not the asshole I thought it was.
Watching this on Dramacool - been waiting for English captions on episodes 18-23 for a few days - since Viki has picked this up and is airing an episode a day now, do you think DC is just not bothering to caption the remaining eipsodes. Long shot = far fetched... but maybe?
It's been said many times below but worth saying all over again............every episode ends with me laughing hysterically! Chi Yeol is grumpy as hell but so he's so loveable - love the way Jung Kyung Ho is playing the character. And from the previews of episode 5, it seems like he's going to start to have feelings Haeng Seon. The way he can't remember her name is adorable. This drama is very clever.
