When I saw him and the other members of the cast, I said people were going to stone him to death lol. And let's…
He is a pretty boy thoš I donāt get why people donāt think so. His styling just doesnāt lend to it. Theyāve gone for a plainer more subdued aesthetic/look for him probably to give him a sense of maturity.
I donāt really get the complaints about plot or not understanding what is going on. The setting is a world full…
And Hong Ye is not a simp. Heās just someone who sees the bigger picture. If he doesnāt play the game with bad Huaizhu, he wonāt get the results he needs.
What Huaizhu probably sees in Hong Ye is a man who is trying to clean up a messy situation. Thereās different kinds of love and love that builds from admiration or gratitude isnāt any lesser than one that is built from passion.
I donāt really get the complaints about plot or not understanding what is going on. The setting is a world full of human-demon conflict. The ML is trying to break the cycle of violence and also clean house on his end (the human side) to reduce the bad apples who are creating conflicts/chaos. Jiu Huo+Jia Lan at this stage seem to be result of the human side messing with demons. The reason for the 20 year time skip is because itās the best time.
As for bad Huaizhu, think about Jialan. Jialan is very clearly a psychopath- her thinking patterns will not follow mainstream human logic and when she does things, it will be with her at the centre with little empathy for others.
Luo Yunxi and Liu Yu Ning were each criticized early in their careers for not being attractive enough. Iām sure…
He looks fine. And he visually works as a serious and righteous leader. Thereās a quiet gravitas about him.
This director doesnāt seem very good at capturing peopleās best looks. Itās really straightforward filming with little atmosphere for most characters. And, thereās a lot of mediocre and lifeless shots of the characters which affects perception. An actor can act well and be really handsome but if the director canāt capture the performance, the effect will be greatly reduced.
Just ignore the ppl who say this. They're just romance junkies. I don't understand why they watch these types…
Yeah, sentimentality and saccharin donāt work for the tone of this show. Itās really got to be in the background or in a few stolen moments. Thereās just too much going on for it.
š Some fans have been trying to figure out what Jialanās character setting is and apparently the character AI set up for her is just saying all types of things so itās even more confusing š
I donāt get all the demand for āpure loveā for the main couple in a drama this grim. Thereās different kinds of love. And different reasons for being in a relationship. Just because the relationship doesnāt follow the standard romantic pattern doesnāt mean it doesnāt work. Tbh, in this type of storyline, I feel like the most plausible type of type of romantic development would stem from mutual admiration/understanding, comfort and familiarity. It would be the quiet kind, one that develops in the background as they face more and more hardships together and learn more about each other. .
Xiao Ranās time on Sisters Who Make Waves 6 has ended. Although the airing experience wasnāt ideal, I think it was still a good opportunity for Xiao Ran to try new looks, meet new people, and gain new skills. Her final blog for the show is posted below: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/5162251275993384
I'm watching this drama and I'm on episode 8. I still haven't seen PXR yet, but I saw edits of her on TT. Her…
Her sense of faith is so strong that she really feels like sheās casting magic and interacting with the surrounding environment. She integrates perfectly with the special effects, which has been a weakness with some WYXās shows.
I still think the Jialan in Jiu Huoās memories is not the real Jia Lan. The kid versions of her donāt seem very affectionate and give the impression sheās a psychopath. The Huaizhu version of her seems to support this as well - sheās charming and manipulative but doesnāt seem too attached. I feel like Jiu Huo is banking on the memory loss and Huaizhu not knowing their backstory to create a false narrative. I donāt know if itās because of genuine love or ulterior motives but it doesnāt feel right.
