Tbh, I feel like this wasnāt supposed to be released yet. A lot of people were saying itās a nod to his Tiny Times movies and I think those dance sequences were at the end (I have to rewatch to be sure). This also feels like something that gets released during or at the end of the show but it got pulled out because IQIYI is struggling right now. GJM current storylines mostly seem depressing and dark. This kinda video works best once viewers are invested in the characters and how the plot has changed or affected them. Thatās probably why the tone of the video is so happy. Itās probably supposed to be a balm for audience watching all these emotional things happen.

Tbh, I think she will be fine in this show but I like to give reassurance to people who donāt know herš Youāre very right though -sheās in excellent shape. As seen in Huamei, she can do hand to hand combat and knows how to carry herself as a bad*ss. Like you said she worked with Jackie Chan, who uses real weapons. Phoenix Stage is using some martial arts masters who have worked on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. And she used to do boxing. We also know she can do coyness and seduction from JJL and the cut tidbits of RoatF. Cangcang is my absolute fave atm but Iām also dying to see MYM in action. I low-key hope she gets a promo makeup video too. Her makeup videos are always amazing and capture the true spirit of the character. The biggest bonus about her though is it doesnāt matter how many scenes she has-she can shape a character even with few scenes. Sheās a true character actress in this regard- even her early days with Old Nine Gates, her short performances are always super effective .
Just seen Xiao Ranās sword fighting skills in the drama sheās currently filming and she looks good. Her expression management during the fight scene looks on point and she seems to be seriously and sincerely listening to the martial arts master. Not sure if she will use weapons in this show but I think her martial arts should be okay.

After seeing the clip of HDJ and PXR in the same frame earlier last week, Iām still upset this show hasnāt aired yet. They look so good togetherš
It will depend on the screenwriter and director. Sometimes it can be done well. I watched a spy show with PXR last year and the romance didnāt interfere with the plot at all but it was really good because it was super subtle and fit the era and the character personalities. So Iāll stay optimistic about this one too.
Should I watch this? My friend recommend me this one but I'm not sure. Cause I know no one in the cast.
Itās a light-hearted watch with a smart, calm, and gentle female lead and strong supportive male lead. The pacing is pretty good. The revenge storyline is the main focus but there is a good amount of romance too.
