Agree with you. It's like someone doesn't like being told something because of what he/she posted, and yet, in that post itself, he/she has tried to tell others to believe their own impression/thoughts.

Title Bad Buddy
And as I am also a big fan of Your Name Engraved Herein, another epic LGBT production, and as someone had mentioned it earlier in Twitter:

The runaway scene to the beach is also reminiscent to what happened between Jiahan and Birdy, as they also went to that faraway island (Penghu Island) where they ended up in their own world at least for that very short time, having intimate time together, before they were separated for thirty years.

The difference is that, the parents didn't know about their relationship (save Jiahan's mother who likely have felt it) and they were fighting each other trying to hide their real relationship from their parents (especially Birdy who didn't want Jiahan to reveal it). And Jiahan and Birdy were never boyfriends, but they loved each other. (Though it took them that thirty years before they said it to each other)

(Parallel, they also had to face opposition from their families and friends, for their friendship)

Meanwhile, in Bad Buddy, Pat and Pran both declared the truth before their parents, and had each other's back as they are going off to that distant beach. And this is why, while P'Aof also subtly refers to the YNEH scene, he's going to make it different, by not making them separated again (and definitely not the way Jiahan and Birdy was separated, for a mind-boggling and heartbreaking thirty years).

YNEH was a bittersweet story of regrets, of love that blossomed before it's acceptable to have their kind of love (due to that happening in the past). And Birdy wasn't brave enough to admit it and face their love together. Pat and Pran on the other hand, lives through a much better time and place, and at least, their parents and friends do not seem to be homophobic.

That's why I have much more faith in Pat and Pran!

And as Pat appeared before Pran at the EP 10 rooftop, his eyes spoke a thousand words. Nanon may be somewhat better…
The music of this series isn't perfect, but the way they used the music especially for the last part of EP 10, was especially amazing.

Completely agreed! I also feel their parents will realise their folly as their kids have left them.I can already…
Yes they were definitely feeling guilty inside. And because of that, it is almost incomprehensible for them to try to do anything drastic to oppose Pat and Pran.

Already in the hospital scene earlier in EP 10, the moment that Pat's dad realised how Pran had been helping Pat, he was already wrecked with quite a bit of guilt.

I think deetsy was too excited and wanted to press !! but instead it turned out to 11 (forgot to press shift)

50 refers to Bad Buddy now ranking #50 among all dramas in MDL.

I believe in Pat and Pran. And although we don't know yet what is going to happen in EP 11 (and 12), one thing that won't happen is Pat and Pran breaking up or being separated again.

There may be some tension yet coming forward, but you know what is one thing that made Pat's heart break more than finding out his father's lies and how he had hated Pran for nothing more than because of his father's past actions?

It is seeing Pran crying his heart out and knowing how he has been suffering all these while too because of their family's unresolved feud. Neither him or Pran will let the other go. They will not give up their love for anything, no, not even their families, after all that they had endured and gone through to that point.

That as compared to the novel, Pran chose to run away with Pat, is significant because it showed just how strong their love is (not that the novel version love isn't strong, but the series version shows that their love is so much more and so powerful)

Pat, being a smart problem-solver as usual from the beginning of the series may also have thought of this as an excellent idea to resolve their family problem (as emotional and heartbroken as he was then)

Them staying there in the midst of the aftermath of the revelation wouldn't do anything good, and them taking their refuge in a far away place not only would help to settle their broken hearts, but hopefully trigger their still stubborn parents (Pat's dad and Pran's mum) to realise the folly of their actions.

(Why? For example, Pran's mum lost her scholarship, and was still very salty about that, but compare that to losing your own son? She will come to realise that her remaining ill-feel about being betrayed will make her lose so much more)

I can't believe I'm still rewatching the climactic scene of EP 10 again and again. And not just the rooftop scene.Ohm's…
And as Pat appeared before Pran at the EP 10 rooftop, his eyes spoke a thousand words. Nanon may be somewhat better in doing this, but I would say Ohm has done very good as well all these while, especially in that scene.

Pat's eyes to Pran literally said to him that, 'I am devastated too, just like you. You had it tough, so did I. But I am here for you, no matter what, for you are my love. At least, we have each other.'

(This is what I like so much about that scene. No words are needed. What we need is excellent acting, storyline and plus matching music in the background)

And Pran could have endured it all alone. He had always done that, but as we know he's already at the breaking point.

He decided to call, and I am very sure all of us agree that he's calling Pat, not knowing that he's already there. He's literally his last hope there. He just opened and burst forth all that emotions that he had long kept in his heart.

His words, 'I can't take it anymore' to Pat is significant. From someone who kept himself totally closed emotionally, to him trusting Pat fully with his emotions and feelings. All the whole story from EP 5 rooftop up to the end of EP 6 is basically caused by Pran still holding his emotions inside, and it took Pat to try to get it out of him throughout that summer camp.

why did the parents fight in the book? i've read it was for a different reason but i can't seem to find why
Business reason and misunderstanding each other. Plus they were too proud to admit their mistakes and misunderstandings to each other.

Ohm's acting as Pat when he was utterly disappointed at his father's lies was so good. I can literally feel his heart breaking piece by piece by looking at his eyes, his tears and hearing him speaking his words, one by one.

I was compelled to post the following in another series' comment thread (after considering and pondering about it for some time) since unfortunately I did see at least two posts in other series talking bad about Bad Buddy, and how one of the commenter dropped Bad Buddy because of what happened here just few days ago.

Comment below (I won't reveal the series - and most importantly, each series are great on their own. Let's not shitpost and even if we like a series so much over the other, let's not allow this to make us biased)

BB actually has one of the healthiest and best comment sections here in MDL.

*** and BB are both amazing in their own way. BB is still the better series for me, but I think that’s always subjective.

But again, BB comment section in fact surprised me by just how lively, healthy and engaging it is. We may have some disagreements, but it’s normal, just as it has happened here too.

That's why I love visiting this page so much, and honestly it had added to the already very amazing experience of watching Bad Buddy's phenomenal performance.

But let's remember to maintain this atmosphere, just as it had happened earlier, arguments and disagreements may happen and flare up, but each one of us have to keep calm, share rationally and respect each other. Just an advice here.
