The amnesia trope that's been done to death is to use the amnesia to trick or deceive a character. No one caused it to happen, and no one took advantage of her.

It was realistic of her to trust Mei Zhuyu because she was first attracted to him before she knew him.

Or maybe it was the fact that his Dad was the Cat Lord.

Whether it's a soft or intense gaze, wide-open eyes or narrow eyes, Xu Kai can elicit a world of emotions through those eyes. Each look is suited to the character he's portraying and the scene. There's nothing generic about them.

Mei Zhuyu will become one of Xu Kai's most iconic characters, right next to Han Ting and Li Ni, as well as the ones you mentioned.

Not a love triangle. The FL only has eyes for the ML. There are secondary male characters who desire her to the point of obsession, but she's not interested.
