It could've been a very suspenful plot with more episodes if the budget was high. They still did pretty good job in covering least bit of everything so that atleast we know what's happening and we have so many questions here too.
For those of you still reading the comments: if the drama would have had more budget, what should they have invested…
Tbh, "almost" everything except DZA and SH's lovestory looked like it was left out or picked up from the middle. If i were to add some things that i really want to know and I can never understand -
The first thing would be "GYS's motive". He did the deed and then there was no afterstory to it. I wanted to know the whole operation he was on upon. What did he achieve afterall ??
Second would be "DHY's appearance". He just appeared out of nowhere and was not even awkward in first meet. Who was he ? Was he after something ?
Third and the most suspenseful thing "DZA getting poisoned". DHY's explanation of it did not make sense.
Fourth "Shu Qian's real feelings for his brother and Huo Ying". One thing ik for sure is that he loved both of them but why did he not communicate ?
Lol. Idk if I'm increasing the plot or adding little things but this is what I would like to see for a complete story.
I finished "The Living dead" today. So the Yin iron story never really ended in The Untamed. At this point I need to question how does everyone have Yin iron lol ?? I thought everytime a good man took a piece of it from a wrong man they destroyed it. How is everyone restoring it again and again from the scratch ?
It was awesome seeing Wen Ning and A'Yuan tagging along though and i almost thought WWX appeared. 😔

This is so sad. Why must he get hate for something he didn't know about ? It's not like he should know whole history of China. And also people do make mistakes. What's the point of cancelling him over such a thing and even going as far as to say dirty things about his parents too ?
I've never seen his works but I still feel bad for him. I hope he can make a return in the acting career. I see some of his works lined up above. Idk if they are in progress or not. Thank-you so much btw.

Tbh, they could've given us a spinoff movie with Jiang Cheng too just like how they gave us two spinoff movies with Nie Huaisang and Wen Ning. That would've done a little justice to JC imo. How i wished for JC and WWX to reconcile and go back to being "Twin Heroes of Yunmeng". 😭
Wei Wu Xian truly deserves all the love, warmth and respect back that he has ever given to anyone. Will miss this sunshine forever.

Not extra but some prolonged scenes and a little different ending. It's just 50 episodes compressed in 20.
I could only find one prolonged scene when first time Lan Zhan got drunk in cloud recesses. That scene was a little more chaotic.
I was impatient so i directly went to the last episode (ep. 20) today and indeed ending was different but it didn't give me that kick like the original one.
How are you holding up though ? Are you satisfied or traumatized ??
