I think they get back together after the surgery because she finds the taped up picture. He said they can tear him down as many times as they want and he’ll get back up but she can’t meaning she can get hurt anymore. The kiss was not forced to me. I’m thinking something happened to her or they threatened her and it sacred him which is why the unexpected intense kiss. It looked more like adrenaline from fear versus a forced kiss because she kissed back. She looked pale in that kiss scene and up close when she said “Don’t Lower Your Head, I won’t Allow It”.

Even in the drama, LX and Gao only argue when they have conflicting views on how the project should be done…for the website Gao was about bells and whistles that complicated the programming while LX was about simplicity that works; for the app Gao leans more on short vision of completion while LX was more towards long term vision of growth. Aside from these instances, LX has told Gao he respects him because Gao did good programming unlike some of the others at the base. There’s just not as much of the friendship shown which is the one thing I would have liked a bit more of. As you said, LX is bad with words but has shown a lot in in actions such as the initial fight with ZXB over the app, his bargain was that she release the graduate students from her grasp because she was exploiting them. He does a lot of little things on the side without voicing them.

Yes he’s really nice. Unfortunately he reminds me of her dad, he covers up for her with her mom just like her dad. Also like her dad, I feel like he’s facilitating/humoring ZY, using time as the answer to their problems thinking time will make ZY realize her and LX don’t belong together. It’s some of the things he says like in ep 14, “sometimes we like pretending to be mature” when ZY says she switched from milk tea to coffee. He’s got feelings for ZY but isn’t acting on it and looks out for her which is nice.
Yeap…I bought the Blu-ray and soundtrack for TRS. I just downloaded the soundtrack for L&P. For the other dramas, I usually only download 1 or 2 songs that stand out but the full soundtracks for TRS and L&P are good and relate to the drama well.
🥰. Really can’t help scrolling through Twitter and YouTube for L&P crumbs. I did the same for TRS and YAMG as they were airing. I was actually patient with LLTG. 😆
