I’m the opposite. L&P caught my attention from the beginning while I couldn’t get into LBF&D. I’ll probably try again after I finish L&D.

There were probably kiss scenes in his other work but they may have been cut. He is also 22 so could have had personal experience.

ZY: when they were with Prof Lin fixing the piggy virus. She was mesmerized with LX explaining to Prof Lin. He’s handsome but she was caught by his brain. 😆
LX: When he saw her asleep outside his hiding area and put the sweater on her. She caught his attention every time he encountered her starting when she accidentally ate his lunch on the first day but I think her persistence got to him there.

I think if there were 20 eps for part 2, they could have done that but as it is there still a lot to cover with 9 eps left. At least the hospital scene gave him a good insight into how she was after the break up. I don’t think they’ve moved on from each other but got a little bit of closure of the past so that they can reconnect better in the present. You can see in their eyes that neither have moved on from each other.

So this must be the temporary place before the hospitalization and they move in together then?

I watch all kinds of drama but I admit that my most watched ones are Thai and Cdrama. I do like some Kdrama but like you said, it depends on the plot.
Even if I get drawn to a drama because it’s with an actor or actress I like, I’ll drop it if the plot doesn’t pull me in. Currently only L&P is keeping my attention. Two of my favorite Thai actors are starring in a drama together but I can’t get into Thai modern fantasy/action and after seeing the trailers, I didn’t even bother to start it. I almost dropped Almost Lovers too. I love Wuxia and Xianxia too along with slice-of-life costume dramas.

Definitely, in this case it was the right thing for him to do. When he planned to go after FZJ, there was no longer a future for him so the only thing to do was ,are her leave him. Like you, I usually hate the noble idiocy trope because most of the times there’s really no need for it. In this instance, it had to be done since he was planning something with a point of no return.

Lol…they must mostly watch the normal length kdramas and not the daily kdramas that are 50-100 episodes. OMG, sometimes I try a daily kdrama and stop after the second amnesia plot and may or may not go back for the ending. Some daily kdramas irk me because the bad guys always win until the last few episodes and sometimes one of the leads get amnesia 2 or 3 times so you just want the white truck of doom to hit someone. I think filler episodes are in all types of dramas, Thai, Cdrama, and Kdrama. The one thing I do notice with cdramas though is that if an agency wants to intro a new artist that is a secondary character, they’ll pay to get them more screen time and sometimes these filler episodes screw up the flow of the drama.

That’s literally both of them. They try to cover up the worst parts because subconsciously they know how much they each care for each other. I feel that ZY is LX’s North Star. I can’t wait for the reveal of LX’s time in prison and that taped up picture.

Hope you’re feeling better. Take care! But yes, it’s not just in cdramas, even in the real world, especially in Asia where they work 12-16 hour days or multiple days at the office before taking a break. If we don’t take care of ourselves, we can’t take care of anyone else.

I feel like they both suffered during their time apart which is why I like how ep27 ended. Also, that whole interaction was an amped up version of their initial interactions in college. This time instead of throwing darts at his sweater in blond wig, she went drinking. Yes he shouldn’t have thrown their relationship in her face but at the same time, she knows he had no clue about her depression. She didn’t want him to see her in the hospital because she didn’t want him affected by her illness just like he talked good about prison food at their professors. These two protect each other at the cost of their own selves.

How many people thinks Gao initially didn’t want XLN to be the model for the “first love” game because he knew XLN’s first love was LX. 🤦🏻‍♀️ even if it was a one-sided.

That’s what’s crazy about Gao. Even when he wasn’t working with LX, he couldn’t get away from being in his shadow. From the start, I felt that he was the type that would make himself compete against anyone who placed ahead of him and I don’t know if that was from habit because he was used to being on top in his region or if it was part of his family expectations or both. I think what irks him the most is because LX gets recognition when he doesn’t even try.

It was RenDi. She’s always supportive of ZY with whatever choices she makes with no criticism., only advise when needed. Just like she accompanied ZY to the Tech Show and chase after LX. I think she only said what she said when LX visited her because LX acted the way he did, visiting for money vs friendship.
