The ML was such a unique character. I don't think I've seen such an emotional ML before or even an emotional MC that often. He felt everything and you could see every emotion in the way he held his body, by the look in his eyes, and see the thoughts running through his head. What a wonderful messy, flawed, and well written ML.
I've gotten so used to watching actors get stabbed or hurt and get up like nothing happened but a minor scrape. It was jarring and so impactful seeing an actor actually ACT hurt. The body in shock moving in odd ways, the act of trying to get up, the unfocused eyes, not being able to scream, etc. Zo In Sung, my goodness what an actor.
I was so confused why the final episode was 2 and half hours long! Luckily it's because it's 80% recap. Idk why they did it like that, but if you to the final episode that timestamp is right. I skipped to the current game at time stamp 1 hour and 31 minutes.
If you've never seen an early 2000's jdrama or an anime-style live action, then you're gonna get some whiplash from this show. But if you have, you'll love the excessive editing, funky styles, and nostalgia it brings. Watch it as a show from 2007 as a it's charming point and it's a great time.
This show is a mess, yet really fun with it's own charm, natural chemistry/intimacy, and heart. Skip all the secondary couples and enjoy a romance between two very flawed characters. I think it's fun watching older shows where not every character is perfect, instead their flawed and somewhat grounded.
This is my first time re-watching in 7 years and it's still super fun.
The leads have so many endearing and warm hugs, I love it when there is realistic moments of intimacy like that. Hugs are so underrated in the romance drama wordl!
That was such a confusing and creative movie. Each scene had so many details and stylizations to it. It's so colorful with interesting sound effects, fun transitions, bursts of animation, etc. If you like creative movies, I definitely recommend.
The plot was honestly really fresh. The leads were older, parents, and the maturity really showed through. We had complex characters, a consistently strong FL who stayed true to her goal without swaying and easily forgiving anyone. I would've loved to see this as an actual full length drama.
They did such a good job with the casting. All the characters were fun and I really liked the light natural chemistry between the leads. The story felt grounded and I enjoyed the slow pacing. I only wish that it had been made into a show rather than a movie so we could see more development.
i advise you to watch the whole show if you didnt. yes hes a vicious character that cannot be justified in any…
I finished it and learned about the mind control/poison. I still don't think the scriptwriters had to be that invasive with such a scene though. It was just too much.
I know cdramas, especially short length ones, often have those super toxic MLs. So there will be some major boundary overstepping and crosses the line against consent, but the first 10 minutes of ep one has to be one of the worst I've seen. My gosh that was coercion, SA, and public humiliation to exert power. It was so unbelievably violent, way more violent than a character just being beaten.
This is my first time re-watching in 7 years and it's still super fun.
Totally worth the watch <3
