I hate 70% of the plot. It's annoying politics and evil rich family. I loved the leads-their setup, chemistry, and dialogue is so fun. The leads plot is an 8/10, but it feels more like a subplot. The main plot is a boring and annoying 5/10. I'm putting this on hold for now and hoping I gain the energy to finish.

I really liked the first half, but the second half felt choppy with an ending that didn't feel too deserved. I would've loved 15 or 20 more minutes to give more scenes time to breathe and explain more of what was going on.

I feel the same way. It felt like it scratched the surface on a lot of things, but didn't dig as deep as it could've. Just 15 more minutes could've helped give each character more time and development. After reading people's theories, now I wonder just how much got lost in the editing. I feel like there should've been more focus on Yo Han and how he got better, what Gyeong Rok went through at the school, and what happened to Mi Jeong in between all of that.
This was sooo good. This was a surprisingly deep movie and I loved all the characters. The story, characters, acting, and lighting was all so good. I totally recommend <3

I'm being so annoying about this lol. In all my years of drama watching, I've never disliked a lead character this much before (minus terrible short dramas MLs,).
I love thinking about the psychology of characters. Morally gray or dark characters are my favorite ones, but that's when they feel fully explored to me. I think her character fell flat for me because she seemed like a bad person even in small ways. Her pride and ego made her treat anyone that worked "below her" or with her as if they were dirt. It wasn't the normal standoffish or cold that makes sense. She treated them as peons.
I think it was just a rough opening for her. Her abuse of power towards the ML and her disrespect towards coworkers. Even the first case (if I'm remembering right) she manipulated a worker into leaving his company of many years. It just showed how little she cared for blue collar workers and their desperation to keep the only job they'd known. It was his own decision to hurt her, of course, but that was her goal. To me, she seemed prejudiced towards poor people (in money or power), disregarded the mental health and financial need of her coworkers and the small companies she set out to destroy to profit more for herself, and was just straight up rude and hateful all the time.
The dramatic editing in epsiode 13 was hilarious. The reveal over who was messing with the posters and then boom instant reply from hundreds of angles was so silly and funny.
