why wouldn't they pair her with Kim Jae Wook instead? Better age-match
I see what you mean, since Gong Myung looks a bit baby-faced compared to a Shin Hae Sun (I donāt mean that she looks old, in a bad sense, she just look more mature, still fresh and beautiful) but heās actually only 5 years younger than her (their age gap is actually one year shorter than between her and Kim Jae Wook haha). The other pairing however has an age gap of 15 years. Personally, such things donāt bother me at all but Iāve encountered people who have some problems with such stuff. I wonder, the casting probably is as it is because it might fit the nature of the characters better?
He does look older, but definitely not like he could be FLās father (in all seriousness, please) and Iām not…
I am not lying. I wasnāt trying to at least. Iām not denying that he looks older. He doesnāt look like a high schooler and I agree, he might be a bit too old and not fit for this role. I never denied that, in my previous comment (and mind you, on of my other comments on this page is just about his looks/jaw shape and has literally nothing to do with this matter). I said that in this case he looks good enough for me to not find the fact that he looks kinda old that big of a deal (although it does look a bit unnatural in a couple of scenes, like someone who just finished university put on a high school uniform, which doesnāt integrate very well with other cast members). I might be as you said ātrying to defend himā because I kinda like this actor so even though the role might not have been a good choice for him he didnāt completely ruin it (that is my opinion).
Youāre, of course welcome to feel differently (and I wasnāt trying to argue that, maybe I wasnāt clear enough in my first reply), since as youāve said those are opinions⦠but itās just that in no way does he look ālike he could be FLās fatherā. The actress who plays the FL is 22, she looks like she could be anywhere between like 19 and like 24 or something, and this actor looks his actual age (around 30, heās 31) at most. How could he look ālike he could be her fatherā then? Like, be serious.
(He could be fit to play a young teacher though, rather than a student. On that I agree.)
Do any of the four āabandoned kidsā that we meet in the first episode die later on? If yes, who? Please, Iād like to know so I wouldnāt get too attached and then sad. Thank you!
It might be a slight mistranslation. Or, if you look up that skin condition on the internet, it looks like it happens mostly to the first outer layer of skin, it doesnāt look very appealing but the āscarsā and dry patches probably mend well once you manage to heal your skin. Thatās what she might have meant, but Iām not sure, I donāt know.
He did look like a teacher and the FL's father rather than a student and he shouldn't have been cast. I really…
He does look older, but definitely not like he could be FLās father (in all seriousness, please) and Iām not saying that just because I generally like this actor, Iām being impartial.
He has a really square strong defined jaw line. Look at those mandibles!! God help you if he were to ever bite…
wdym square jawline? He has oval face and soft cheeks⦠his face does look more mature than a high school studentās, thatās a fact but he has soft facial features.
Idk, I didnāt really notice the age difference, of course, he does look older than most of the other cast members but itās not that drastic. (On the other hand all Koreans - in entertainment industry, actors etc - usually look younger than their age to me)
All the other main cast members that played classmates are in their twenties and most of them didnāt look that much like 18 or younger high schoolers, they look like theyāre in their early twenties, I guess thatās okay, for a movie.
He still looks slightly older than all of them though, it wasnāt a big problem for me while watching (especially that itās not a very deep movie, just something nice and cute with a bit of a story) and I donāt think he should catch so much heat for that, just not play high schoolers in the future.
I absolutely loved this drama! ā¤ļøIt had some lower moments and there was very obvious product placement in…
I didnāt expect it, but I liked Ryu Hye Youngās hairstyle in this drama a lot. She looked really nice and elegant (like⦠business casual? Befitting a lawyer hehe) in that short haircut.
honestly hospital playlist is wayy better no hate to this drama.hospital playlist is a classic (zero boring moments)
Yes, the portrayal of a law firm and lawyer's work seems to be realistic here (certainly more realistic than in some other law-centered dramas, that I've seen - also the writer studied law apparently?), besides they even make fun of usual dramatic-style portrayal of criminal cases in dramas in episode 1 of this series ;0

I agree,
I havenāt even seen it yet, but I still agree lol.
