They definitely needed an extra episode for closure. In addition to Manman finding out about Big Qiao, I needed a reunion scene for Manman and WS, WS’s first time meeting Fei Fei, WS and WY reunion, etc.

I was fine with Wei Liang’s death because it looks like the F3 (😭) will look out for Xiao Tao. Which is what Wei Liang would want.

I’m sure they needed someone mature for later episodes. That’s why I think she should be paired with a mature looking male lead.

I agree with you about Bai Lu being too mature looking for these kind of roles. What’s worst is that both the ML and SML are much younger than her. Joseph is only 3 years younger but he has a baby face and the SML is 7 years younger. I would love to see her with someone more mature - maybe Cheng Yi, Gao Weiguang or Miles Wei.

I think it’s the matter of taste. I tried watching Zang Hai but tapped out because the plot armor was working overtime.

Although he broke bro code, I thought it did made sense that Wei Yan fell for the FL. He was captivated by her beauty at first but what’s more is that they’re both “outsiders” in the Weis household. He fell for her wit, her intelligence and she believed in him when no one did. She even helped him get out of they sticky situation.
