The director is good, he/she could produce a worthwhile 2ML back story without stealing too much from ML ie Zhan Zhao Adventures. Its quite well balanced.
The drama ep 1 to 34 were still melodrama like with forceably still logical storyline. Understand why the low rating average 7.6 because the ending is unlogical for both FL and ML acted out of logic.
I appreciated the scriptwriter and director managed to balance what is royal protocol and ordinary people's habit in the drama.
Just to reflect the other side of being royalty, they too need to sacrifice the ordinary people "joyful and fun" things to do and eat. Imagine not being able to sample sashimi in your entire life and strictly abides the royal rules even when no one is watching 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
