Lately some TVB dramas appear to shoot both in HK and presumably Shenzen.

Shouldn't the Department of Justice office or D.O.J office be spelt in full. 😅

I like that the show reflects a more realistic perspective about equal legal rights and protection for the people esp. the of ppl surrounding FL, Judge Yin.. although I must say FL is clearly the most and undoubtedly the righteous character.

Sadly, this drama, Themis, is the last Benz Hui work in TVB or any on screen work. 🫡 🫡🫡🫡🫡

My Destiny starring Seven Tan Songyun was so so 🤏🏻... hope this one Dream of Golden Years is more realistic in that era.

This drama's writer is definitely a millennial or Gen Y. Although its all feel good but I must say women at that era, 80s 90s would not have been that independent or capable even if they come from educated family background.

In fact, Qian Qian and Wan Zhi niece Zhao Jun are more realistic characters compared to Juan (filial to blind in law refused help) and Fan Wanzhi, who are idealistic.

As long as I can remember and those days, like Lee Min Ho's dramas were super popular before they were released and had tens of thousands ppl tagged Plan to Watch e.g. "King Eternal" and many discussions but was not under Trending this week until it was released. It only started and stayed there for many weeks.

The horizontal belts display 3 categories, i. Trending This Week, ii. Starting This Week, and
iii. Ending This Week.

Outside of that the Group is Upcoming, as it doesnt make sense for it to trending when it has not been released, what is the talking/discussion point...rite

Thank you for your observation. But normally Trending dramas are either currently airing or has been aired. Not once i encountered for dramas yet to be aired based on my years of membership here.

So just wondering if the policy has changed.

They should have aired this drama a week earlier to coincide with CNY.

Didnt think i can stomache another Zhang Linghe acting as ML but Pursuit of Jade is interesting and watchable, together with FL.

The drama made audiences feel living with less resources and old fashion utilities can be romantic and fulfilling ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Romance here is innocent, pure and romantic 👩‍❤️‍👨for 1st main couple, while 2nd lead couple 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 is rash, s_x_al and deliberate.

Whenever Uncle/Aunt Bei (Bei Shu) came on scene , either male or female actor would surely draw laughter to audience 😄 🤣 😆 😂 😅

Its hilarious to think Louis Fan Siu Wang and Auntie Cui Yi are the same person in diguise! Lol

Maybe i watched too much idol drama, for me the first 5 episodes are a bit slow for me.

He was quite amazing when he acted as Yang Kang, absolutely stolen the limelight from the actor who played Quo Jing in the Legend of Condor Heroes.

Am not ashamed to admit that I was one of those 40+ year olds who went to watch the movie sequel due to nostalgia and curious about how the Hong Siu Long and Qin Emperor story ended.

I feel that 7.7 points for the drama in MDL is a bit low for the overall entertainment experience the 2001's A Step Into the Past; which was the 1st time travelling to Qin dynasty or any ancient dynasty drama in Chinese language. The tvb classic series typically average 8+ due to its originality and the pop culture instilled in the minds of audience.

The movie is not too bad if judging by acting alone from Louis Koo and Raymond Lam's s
master disciple chemistry.

Production spending c.HKD400m, around HKD1xxm paid to TVB for the rights😱...so do hope Louis Koo get back his capital 😅and some decent profit.

This is definitely Nezha's come back drama!! Love her poise and decisive role as Rong family Eldest Daughter.
Hope Li Qin has a good chance like Nezha.
