now about the deeper meanings of it ...ok im not sure about myself yet i still have so many things to figure out…
Wow, thanks for sharing your experience, it's always nice to have people who talk about their country's culture in an unbiased way. And I agree, the girls do defend themselves by slapping, but the bigger problem is the guys who jump and force themselves on them. But at the same time, the same girls are forced by the society to always play hard to get, so... it's a never-ending circle I guess.

I'll get hated for saying this, but Qian Yue and Vivienne are so unattractive that they have the perfect villain faces. I just can't look at them without getting annoyed.

Anyone know of some Japanese dramas that could be called "slap and kiss"?
It's interesting that I cannot really recall any slap n kiss Japanese dramas. I would even go so far to say that doramas are the least violent of all Asian dramas out there. I don't even remember much wrist grabbing in their shows. I'm not sure why tbh but I'm glad.

Where are the old classics, like Ringu, or Ju-On, Hansel and Gretel or Tales of Two Sisters?! OO
You're right, but it is impossible to include all of the Asian horror dramas in one article. That's why you are allowed to type in your own option in the poll or to make a suggestion here in the comments ;)

I heard in Noble, my love he is possessively mean, and forbids the lead female from being around other guys/from…
Kachiiing, do not watch 'Noble, My Love' if you're looking for some good acting or deep story. If there weren't hot actors, cute scenes of manhwa pics in the opening and some funny scenes I'd probably not have rated it more than 4. It does have typical Korean traits but it shouldn't be taken seriously, it's not worth it. On the other hand, 'New Tales of Gisaeng' is a great subject for analyzing the patriarchal system in Korea.

Meh not really, the mfc does not take his shit, he's more annoying and socially impaired than abusive. There is of course wrist grabbing, otherwise it wouldn't have been a Korean drama.

This drama started so good but not until Ep 10 when the main issue has been solved. It becomes too boring for…
I agree with both of you.
