That counts bcos they reunited in one project. Just like Ju Jingyi with the actors from her agency or Chen Yuqi with Zhou Tingwei (3 times).

At first, I thought the ML is a red flag and the FL is hopeless. Thankfully it's not like that.

Xingzhou (ML) is cold, arrogant, a jealous man but deeply in love with Anning (FL). He fell in love at first sight, but Anning has a secret goal and she deliberately seduced Xingzhou to marry him. Her senior brother, Snowdrop, was murdered when he went to He family house to perform. Anning vowed to avenge him.

She doesn't love Xingzhou even though he treats her well and they have a very good relationship in and out of bed.

Things falls out of order when Xingzhou finds out Anning has been lying to him and deceived him to enter the He family. Anning also suspects Xingzhou was the one who killed Snowdrop.

My opinion:
The ML is sweet and caring. FL is seductive and brave. She fights like a lioness. They have a lot of sexy time *cough*
Tbh the sudden sadistic madness from ML when he finds out the truth is so unnecessary 😑
Also the last minute ending. How is that possible given her diagnosis? I prefer they gave the last minute to show Yumei and Xiaochuan. They are so cute!

P.S Yan Zixian is probably the most handsome c-actor I've ever seen! Of course China has dozens of handsome actors, but this one... Wow!

Actually she has been getting offers after her performance on Unchained Love and Never Give Up, especially for comedy genre. Also bcos Thin Ice won awards on satellite tv awards, she received another offers. She doesn't lack scripts. However she is very careful and selective. She said she wants to do more modern aka not ancient costume drama at the moment. So she has been taking modern dramas since these past years (excluding her guest appearances).

Yuqi is popular in china. Her dramas are popular and won awards too. But outside, she has more haters and they already see her in negative light and close their eyes to her dramas, despite the success that her dramas achieved in mainland.

But why the staff never post anything? Not even the cast list nor poster. This has been bothering me 😥 I read that this drama will air on iqiyi. Knowing iqiyi it might take years. Some of my waiting list are on iqiyi as well.

Perhaps I'm the only one who wants her to keep acting in historical costume drama bcos for me she looks the most beautiful in hanfu. So enchanting and dazzling. As if a real fairy descends. While her in modern drama is no different from seeing her in daily outfits doing variety shows.

Well what can I say? As long as she gets more and more leading roles, I'm happy and thankful! Especially since tencent loves Meng Ziyi 🤭

Just like when I watch a drama or read a manga and find out the ML is a red flag, I immediately drop it and move on to the next one.

I have been waiting to see my girl Jin Seyeon and it's also a comeback project from Kim Jaejoong. I really enjoy it so far and curious about what's coming next. The 4 lead characters are likeable but not flawless. Each has their own problems and make me think from their perspective.

Indeed. Some people are so biased that they praise their fav and hate every other characters. Even when the ML is a red flag, people will still love him. If people can just enjoy the drama, discuss the plot, also objectively try to understand the villain's motives, how awesome would it be?

Goon and Saeyan have met when they were kids. They need to find the clues about it. Also the writer has to set the stage first of how to make Saeyan join the circle naturally. Saeyan is jobless and always running around, while the other 3 are professional.

The mother only cares about producing a super athlete. Bcos Goon became useless, she shifted her energy to Shin. She was a former athlete, so it's natural she has high hope. The father can't win against his wife, so he just followed suit 😑
Although Shin isn't innocent, he also has a mental issue and has been taking meds and consultations.
Juyeon also has a trauma due to her father's death and seems like she lost her childhood memories.

Based on my understanding:
1. Saeyan is back to Korea to find her first love aka Goon.
2. Goon and Saeyan are each other's first love.
3. Goon lost his medal when he was drowned and saved by Saeyan. Means Saeyan found the medal and had been keeping it.
4. Shin feels guilty bcos he was the cause of Goon's injury which ended his career.
5. Their parents put the pressure on Shin to fill in Goon's spot.
6. About the shoes, the ceo knew that Shin is taking meds (and other secrets). To shut down and prevent any rumors to spread, they need money to bribe the papz and media.
7. Their parents want Shin to be successful, and the ceo sees him as a gold mine. He is almost like a puppet, having no time for himself and do what he wants.
8. Due to the parents different treatments towards their kids, the brothers grew distant after the injury.
9. Juyeon's mom said she subconsciously followed her dad's steps and became a doctor.
10. Seems like Juyeon lost parts of her memories or more specifically, her childhood memories due to a trauma after seeing her father died.
11. Juyeon coldly rejected Goon for the Nth time. Goon is upset, however he can't really give up on her.
12. A romcom isn't a romcom if there is no love triangle. The writer created a hole between Goon and Juyeon so Shin can enter. This will create new dynamics and will give the main couple a chance to start anew.

The brothers already grew distant due to the injury and their parents. Which is why Shin said "So you have good memories about me" to Goon. It says a lot...
Also Shin also keeps a lot of secrets from Goon. He isn't innocent and is afraid if Goon finds out the truth.

Saeyan is Goon's real first love.

I think it's not that Juyeon doesn't know Shin is Goon's brother. Shin doesn't know Goon claimed Juyeon as his first love and she never tells Shin about this. The ending on ep 6 is more like Juyeon didn't expect Shin would come. Imagine how she should explain it to Shin. Just like when Goon found Juyeon in his house, she had a hard time explaining.

Of course, bcos most viewers are female. So even if the ML is a jerk, they will love him anyway. But when the FL is strong and doesn't give a shit to ML, they will hate the FL. Nowadays red flag ML has been booming, readers and viewers love this kind of ML just bcos the illustrations and actors are handsome.

Juyeon is a strong and independent FL who is dedicated to her work, but she also suffers from trauma and struggles in social life that her peers don't care about her. Somehow I feel that Goon and Juyeon are similar, it's just Goon lost his self esteem, while Juyeon is proud.

At this point I'm actually wishing for different pairings. Goon x Saeyan, Juyeon x Shin. Reasons:
1. Goon and Juyeon don't love each other.
2. Goon and Saeyan were each other's first love.
3. Goon's infatuation to Juyeon is a mistake or should we say, fake. While Juyeon feels responsible with Goon as doctor to patient.
4. Juyeon heals Shin's heart and she is the only one who asks about his feelings.
5. Juyeon might be the first woman Shin ever likes.
6. Shin and Juyeon's interaction is more natural and somehow when one of them is in trouble, the other appears.
7. Even though Goon and Juyeon eventually fall in love, once the truth is out, it will be harmful to both.

The actor playing as Teo sunbae is so my style! Especially with that hairstyle, he looks so much like my fav game character. I'm weak when I see a man who is physically look like that character, just like the man in my current pp 🤭 Such as shame that Teo is a jerk.

After TSL she's taking a long list of short dramas! I guess bcos it is shorter to film considering her busy study life.
