The turn of the event in Ep 6 is hilarious. A true dark comedy. This is one drama in which you cannot predict the outcome, although by South Korean law the kidnappers have to get legal punishment. Looking forward to the finale next week. Two more episodes to go!

That can be an option. It makes sense. Cos recently I watched a drama with the similar situation. The ML had suffered from generational curse that fell on all male descendants. ML died, but the medical team brought him back alive. The curse is lifted.

Do you know how old is Jiu Ling on this birthday? People here calculated she was 16 when the drama started. But Baidu and Viki stated she is 18. 18 IMO is too old for Jiu Ling's bratty character at the beginning of the drama. Now that she has her birthday, I thought she was even only 14 when the drama started. That makes sense of her childish antics back then. Besides, in Ep 1 at the fabric shop, Dad mentioned she's now at her marriageable age (original translation), Viki only translated as "coming of age". Afaik, the marriageable age in Chinese historical/costume dramas is 14.
