I think RJ's character is more complicated than Athens's. Imo, Athens's character is just there for the love interest. Meanwhile, RJ's character is to create the audience's curiosity/suspicion whether he's involved in the murder or not. Unless there is a plot twist that Athens killed Queen, lol. So far Ep 7 he was not at the murder spot.

I saw Na before in 2 other dramas but never seen Ko. In one drama Na pulled a suspicious character by the end of the drama (I think it'll be a sequel). The comments there said that Na played bad guys before.

So if you read the synopsis, your imagination is like this: they broke up in the beginning (possibly Ep 1) and the drama gradually reveals why they broke up (the mystery that makes him scheme her). It should take time to pursue her again. Around the middle of the drama they patch up and investigate the past case together.
But it's actually:
He approaches her and their romance for 16 first episodes. A bit of mystery. They broke up in Ep 17. Back together in Ep 18/19. And in the last 6 episodes, they cracked the case.

If you're a romance fan you won't be disappointed. But if you love second chance romance, this is ain't it. If you're also a mystery fan, you'll be disappointed. At least I am.

Why?

So I finished it. I can say it's 80% romance and 20% mystery. As a romance, it's steamy and the main couple has sizzling chemistry. But as a mystery, it's quite disappointing. And if you're interested in watching it after reading the synopsis, forget it. The synopsis is misleading.

I finished it and found out who the mysterious woman is. 😊

The AI translation doesn't come straight from Kanji but from Hanzi (Chinese sub). The Chinese language has its own idioms and slang. Idk if the Chinese sub is also from AI or a human translator. But we English audiences are lost in translation, lol.

If you're patience probably better watch it on Viki, although they're slower to upload than MangoTV but their sub is very good so don't cause misunderstandings. I'm not sure if all will eventually free or have to be with subscription. I watch it on MangoTV cos I don't have patience, lol.
