The most? Home School for now (Q1). Midnight Museum for later (Q3 or Q4).
I watched Ep 1 but not interested to continue. I think because it's a school romcom. If it's school but different genre (thriller, mystery, action etc) I will watch it. But if you like it give it a try.
The plot is actually great, very unique. But the lacking is probably in... bland characters? Since I don't know…
Also... do you think romance is necessary in this case? I don't feel their chemistry. So I peeked at your completed drama. For example, like Tomorrow, we crazily shipped Goo Ryun and Joong Gil, or her with any ML, but never happens. Some dramas don't need romance, especially if they have thriller and mystery to keep the audience interested.
When I realized that the whole first episode is just a long ass recap🤦🤦♀️🤦♂️and here I…
I think they called it the special episode. But I agree with you, it's not like S1 was released many years ago that we have to be reminded of what happened in the prequel. I still remember the last scene, it just ended 3 months ago lol.
This drama could have been great!! But there is something lacking, something I can't quite put my finger on 🤔Last…
The plot is actually great, very unique. But the lacking is probably in... bland characters? Since I don't know about these K actors/actresses I can't really tell about their acting quality, but they probably should cast a more experienced young actor for Park In Sung? Also, Park Sung Woong is supposed to be the veteran but we mostly hear his voice. Seo Eun Soo's acting and characterization are stiff. That's why we like interesting characters like Ma Pi, Min Ah, In Sung's parents, etc. The villainous VP is not bad, he's also a veteran actor, the other villain Oh Mi Ran is also bland.
I watched Shizuka-chan to Papa, and I would not categorize it as a sitcom. It employs some light humor, but it's…
I really don't understand this genre in a drama either. Since I don't watch any under this genre neither the sitcoms themselves (they're categorized as TV shows not dramas on MDL), so I don't know the difference. I thought it's more like a Life/slice-of-life.
Hey! nice article...although I do not agree with em all and have not watched all that are present in the article,…
#5 what are your top dramas that are not mentioned in this article?
#7 that sounds like a good idea. I usually read almost all reviews for under the radar/underrated dramas more than reviews for popular dramas since there are so many of them.
- How many 2022 released dramas did you watch? 8 dramas = 1 completed + 8 still watching (I don't have an enough…
Ah... you watch Thai dramas! I see Dew and Tu on your pfp. I don't know if you read my article published yesterday on upcoming GMMTV shows or not. For some odd reason, it was not featured on the MDL home page yesterday as it's supposed to. If not, here it is: https://mydramalist.com/article/upcoming-gmmtv-thai-shows
Let us know if you have any of them in your PTW already. Dew has some upcoming dramas lined up ;D
So many good dramas came out of 2022... especially in the later part of the year.Ngl after Crazy Love, Shooting…
For #1 actually you can go to the Completed of your watching list, then sort based on year being 2022 on the top (descending). I think you got 25 ;D
I agree with you for #7. I used to binge dramas once they finished airing since I didn't want to waste my time just in case the ending is bad. But there are dramas that cannot be binged, they are usually slow-paced (not draggy) because of the plot nature. Were I binge these dramas probably I would've dropped because I easily get bored.
Out of the topic... I'm gonna work on the coloring design of our article today. I moved the draft and found the feature image yesterday. Once I got the coloring done I will add you and we'll talk about the pic/gif ;D
You've seen how women in this drama was treated, they even been used to to sacrificing at the beginning of the…
I was also thinking about that... but although the public may never see consort Yin Lou since she is in the royal harem, Xiao Duo is everywhere. Someone will recognize him...

oh ok... I was just thinking out of the box for some options for the couple, hahaha... since CYQ said there will be an unexpected ending. Fu Wang releasing Yin Lou is unlikely, him being obsessed like that. Faking deaths is too risky... What else? ;D
If they kill Fu Wang and Rong An, can Wan Wan raise to the throne and become the empress? I mean she's from the Murong family. I like her and I want her to be the ruler since she's BFF with the couple, lol.
Thank you for this long and informative article, ChoNa! :)If I may, the above mentioned "historical" dramas are…
I know, right? I agree with you. I didn't watch Under the Queen's Umbrella or LLTG, but since I wrote an article on AOS1, I absolutely know that is not historical, but a fantasy drama. In China, they don't regard them as historical dramas but as costume dramas.
I think somehow there should be a modification on genre definition or genre categorization, since there is a long debate about historical vs period/costume drama, the same as xianxia is not supposed to be categorized in wuxia. Also when I read the definition of the Family genre it says it's suitable for children but at least for Rivalry and The Love Proposal, definitely not suitable for children.
I observed this list since November and actually, Mystery to Iunakare was at the top for Jdrama and Psychology genre, then First Love Hatsukoi came out and replaced Iunakare to be the top, and when AIB2 came out it replaced Hatsukoi. I actually hesitated to put AIB2 because it was only released a week before the end of the year so the rating was still somewhat not stable.
Yeah, I would love to watch more Jdramas too cos they're short, but finding out the sub is a pain. The need to deal with joining this and that group, torrent, soft sub, etc gave me headaches already ;D
