can someone give spoilers regarding the timeline of the romance between the main couple
It's only 24 episodes so you won't get a complicated timeline like 40-episode xianxia. From the start, they're already close as FL tries many ways to get near to ML because the renegade spirits who have haunted her since she was little are afraid of him. They gradually get close to each other and by Ep 12-13, they realize they love each other. Several episodes after that there are characters who try to separate them since can't be together because he's immortal and she's mortal. Then there are major events happen and he goes back to the heavenly place. In the final episode, he's back to her in the mortal world. Happy end.

Ikr... with new Cdramas with popular actors/actresses airing this can easily bypassed by watchers since it was dropped all without promo. I started it without any expectation but curiosity and I was ready to leave if it was not interesting in Ep 1, lol. But the main plot seems different than other xianxias. Well, especially I keep going after I peeked into the ending 😉😉😉
This is the one rare drama that up till now I still can't figure out who the side couples are or if there will be side couples. Usually in other dramas they're clear as crystal because the side couples are always directed to be together. Here I thought A would be with B but B also close to C. Then I thought C would be with D, but D met A. A also met E... If you watched till Ep 16 you know whom I meant... 😂😂😂
I saw in the cast list, more of the shapeshifting characters of her we haven't seen. Looking forward to seeing them and how Jiang Xin Bei will deal with each of them.

I just found out that the South Prince and the ML's cousin played in the currently airing drama Qian Ban Xiang Si. Dunno if the drama is good or not cos I don't have iQiyi VIP membership to watch. Their characters don't seem annoying there, they're the main leads.
Almost deleted this drama from my list but I'm glad I didn't. This is a unique drama after all the logic thrown outside the window. Dr Chocolate is really cute and the little actress knows how to act! Love her relationship with Teacher and other team members. I won't doubt it if this drama is sponsored by a chocolate company, lol!
