Ex will keep using her or threatening her, her scandal will come out and she'll be banished or divorced by Papa Jiang, her ex will kill her, or what if the cunning Jiang Li finds out about her scandal??? A lot of possibilities here...

That is a juicy plot turn I guess... but don't you think the ex-lover thing makes it a bit an easy outlet to end the stepmother, lol. Cos she's quite a powerful character against Jiang Li.

Story of Kunning Palace... Bruh, I can see resemblances with that drama everytime I watch this one.

Hard to say cos we already know Xue Fang Fei's family. Do you mean a secret identity from her mother's side? Cos her mother died, or was she adopted by Papa Xue? Lol... I only hope that we can see more scenes with her, her father, and her brother... seems like they're a very loving family...

FSM plot is BORING, I dropped it after several episodes, despite everyone and everything is being pretty and the leading actor and actress are more popular than the ones here. Plot wise this one is intriguing and nobody knows what will happen next (unless you read the novel I guess). The leads are witty and calculating, and the main villains are not stupid either, so far.

Yes, it's rape, she wouldn't be that shaken if it's consenting sex. But of course, with Chinese drama censorship, every sex scene is suggestive... but I think this is a plot move to make her guilty in the end to either die at the hand of the ex-lover or be banished by her husband because of infidelity. But again, I don't read the novel, lol. Just my guess.

This drama's theme is about female independence and being yourself (as a female). As much as a manipulative mother, Jiang Ruo Yao said that nobody knew who she really was. I think Jiang Li is waking up Ruo Yao's identity as an individual, so far she only attached her identity as her mother's daughter or Zhou Yan Bang's fiancee. She finally speaks the truth about the incident although her mom told her to frame Jiang Li.

I just hope Stepmom dies in the end, she has been bad from the beginning until now.

Plot twist for which Jiang Li? The real Jiang Li or the fake Jiang Li?

At first I hate her, too. I thought her role only served as a bitchy villain, one of the many mean girls in this drama. But in the latest episode got me thinking that probably the screenwriter (I don't read the novel) wrote a redemption plot for her. Her last word to Jiang Li before leaving her in today's episode hints that. Also, what Jiang Li said to Tong afterwards.

It's a tough question to answer, cos if it's revealed to the public that she is Xue Fang Fei, basically she lied to the Emperor. Lying to the emperor got a severe punishment in ancient times. As she said before to Xiao Heng, she just wanted to live a good life. That's why she married Shen Yu Rong who was merely a lowly scholar in the past, she doesn't want power, status, or wealth. I can picture that in the end, after they got their revenge, Jiang Li and Xiao Heng would retreat from the public and live somewhere secluded happily and peacefully. So, she'll quit the public eye as Jiang Li, but only the ones close to her know that she is Xue Fang Fei.

I know Sis won't stay bad forever... the actress is too good to just play a villain! I can see a sismance develops in the upcoming episodes!
