I just finished The Double, watching The Princess Royal now which will be juggled with LYF. I don't think I will be watching As Beautiful as You. But I must say Xu Kai looks are better suited for modern drama. Period costumes / hair / look does not really bring out his handsomeness.

Sadly, SRQ was like LR's spare. As you pointed out, she used him to replace her husband to fulfill her physical and emotional needs. But in her heart, LR loves Pei, the moment there is a chance for reconciliation like now in their 2nd lives, she is going to take it and dump SRQ. It would have been great if she told SRQ to go away and let her live her life well with Pei, but she has not made a stand about it. SRQ is being strung along. Not nice.
I wish LR and Pei well, because in the first place, they had each other in their hearts despite everything. But the way SRQ is being treated by LR is not fair. SRQ is doing too much now because he loved LR since they met as children, but he never did anything about it to let her know in their first life. He simply followed the rules and never told LR his feelings.
If LR had told him to go away and he still came to harass her and meddle with her business, then I would say he is an idiot and deserves to be hated. But he does not know how LR truly feels, everything is based on their first life interactions. LR should have taken the opportunity when he came with the marriage proposal to tell him that even if Pei died, she would be Pei's widow forever. That would be a strong message to SRQ to stay away. She said nothing. Doesn't that give SRQ false hope? I applaud SRQ for being brave and wanting to live for himself. Coming from a noble family, when do they ever get a chance to live for themselves? Everything is dictated by family rules and for the betterment of the family.
The real culprit behind the kill order for LR and Pei is LC, how come SRQ takes the fall for it? I find it illogical.
