My guess is that it will end well for SGY and QZZ, they will get their happy ever after. SGY with SRH and QZZ with LC. But I have a feeling it will not end well for SRQ again. 😅

Princess needs to draw the line with SRQ and stop giving him false hope. She also cannot let go of SRQ of the first life. She needs to confirm to SRQ that the 3 of them are from the past life and she wants to spend this 2nd life well with Pei. I think only then will SRQ stay away. Otherwise, he keeps thinking this is the princess from this timeline with no knowledge of what happened and he wants to protect her. But then if she does that, again there will be no more episodes to entertain us. LOL

This was just after his failed marriage proposal when he ran into Pei. I don't think any guy would be feeling good about a failed marriage proposal to a girl they love. These words were said in pique and also based on what he remembered how Pei behaved towards the princess in their first life.

Pei and Princess did not have the best relationship in their first life and princess must have shared a lot of bad things about Pei with SRQ. Now Pei has already cleared up the misunderstanding about QZZ with the princess in their 2nd life, but SRQ does not know that. Based on the first life, SRQ remembers that Pei let the princess down because of the QZZ misunderstanding. I guess a heartbroken SRQ only has the nastiest things to say to Pei. 😅

Sometimes I wish SRQ also knew that Pei and Princess are here from their first lives. The 3 of them can work together to make things better in this timeline. But I guess if so, then there will be no story to entertain us. LOL 🤪

Emperors have a fear of a single minister / prince / princess getting too powerful with the potential to overthrow or control them. Sometimes even if those people did not have any bad intentions, if the emperor perceived a threat because of other people saying bad things, he might have the minister executed or the prince sent to the border etc because of paranoia.

In his mind, SRQ wanted to protect the princess by showing up as an opposing force, so that the emperor would not perceive her as a "threat" as she gets stronger and more stable in her new role. I think if he knew these were the Princess and Pei from his first life, he would have worked with them to make things better, but he does not know. So SRQ goes about trying to "protect" the princess in his own way which I get a bad feeling is not going to end well for him.

And awww...for TTEOTM Water Deity. 😂🤣🤪 Currently, I am sympathetic toward SRQ, he hasn't done anything to annoy me yet.

There was a lot of hate about SRQ trying to propose to the Princess before Pei was officially declared dead. I think folks might have fast forwarded the scene where it was SRQ's older bro who prompted him to go after the princess since it seems like Pei is dead and SRQ likes her.

My heart went out to SRQ when after that failed proposal scene and he was letting out steam during sword practice, his elder bro noted that his heart must have been thoroughly broken, he said yes, but today I got to live for myself once. Awww man, that is such a sad sentence. He seems to be so controlled by family obligations, and alliances. To be fair, the princess needs to tell him to bugger off if her heart is firmly set on Pei. Else SRQ will not know where he stands with her.

I am hoping for a happy ending for everyone in this 2nd life, but somehow, I get the feeling SRQ will not be getting a happy ending. 😬

Yes, that is something I hope the drama confirms soon.

I sometimes pop by there, seems like that page is a mixed bag. Some do not like the princess, others do not like Pei but overall the most dislikes have to go to the 2nd ML SRQ aka TTEOTM's Water Deity. Poor Water Deity. LOL

I remember the S1 comments descended into mad, raging arguments. Every time I came by and wanted to comment or ask a question, I saw the "conversations" that were happening. 😶‍🌫️ Fierce is the nicest word I can think of to describe it. 🤪

I think the analysis of the fan favourite characters are true in their own way. A lot of interesting points about Xiao Yao, Xiang Liu and Tushan Jing were brought up. Folks from the 2 main camps did so much in depth analysis of their favourite characters. I thought that was very admirable and shows their passion. 🤩 It could have been a great discussion but ended up otherwise. 😅

Hopefully in S2, folks are more open to each other's POV. Don't have to agree with each other, but please be kind to each other because everyone on this page are fellow LYF fans from all walks of life, bringing to the comments different POVs. 🕊️✌️☮️

I think it is interesting to hear an opinion different from ours. We do not have to agree with those opinions, but if we are open, we can get new perspectives that we may not have thought of ourselves. We do not need to agree or make the other party think the same way as us.

Most importantly, comments need to be kept respectful and we are all set for an interesting discussion, otherwise it is going to degenerate into senseless mayhem, with few daring to express a different opinion for fear of being bombarded with unkind comments. 😬

I think Pei and the princess found out about being reborn because they got to talk to each other and interact more. Until now, SRQ did not have the opportunity to have a heart to heart talk with Pei and the princess. So he thought he was the only one.

For what SRQ did to the princess previously, as Pei says, it is a guess, nothing is confirmed for now that SRQ did that to the princess in the first life. I guess if SRQ was indeed guilty, then it could be him trying to make it up to her and trying to change things so that this life will hopefully end better. In his first life, he could not even marry LR if he wanted to due to his punishment.

But if this is their fate, then no matter how, Pei and the Princess will always end up together. SRQ will never end up marrying the princess. Let's see how it unfolds with more new episodes. I am only at EP 16 currently.

For me I am still not sure if he is a good or bad guy. So I will watch more episodes and give you my verdict later. LOL

I think it is not bad. Similar to this story in the sense it was going back to the past to make things right. But only the FL could remember. Everyone else does not.
