I haven't watched TOL but I'm afraid this show might end up like how you described it but so far Junho is doing…
Don't worry. Here comedy is on point. Whereas in TOL they added too much drama especially at the end. Hence why it was boring. I feel that this show will keep us entertained for long (:
I agree with you, Cncll (how do you pronounce your nick? :D ).Here are my 2 cents. There's a difference between…
amrita828, thank you so much for adding to that. I am not strong with words, total science geek here, so sometimes I find it hard to express my mind but this is exactly what I wanted to say.
Your observation and interpretation skills are so on point. I couldn't quite work out just WHY I cannot get into this drama and now I know. They are basically wasting screen time on unnecessary visuals and not on the story development. Hence you would think that at least cinematography would be outstanding but it is simply above average.
As for my nickname, you pronounce it as if you are spelling it :D
I dropped. It's just not for me... I don't mind slow-paced dramas, there were so many that I loved. Like Memory, Just Between Lovers, Money Flower, Misaeng, Awl, Prison Playbook, Reply 1988, and now My Ahjusshi... But here for me the story is just not strong enough, it feels like it's not going anywhere and I stopped caring for the characters as well. Obviously I'm not going to rate it as I've only watched 6 eps but really do think it is a bit overrated. I noticed that recently slow-paced dramas get high ratings BECAUSE they are slow-paced. There were so many good slow-paced productions recently that people actually start to subconsciously think that slow-paced = better, realistic plot development; more mature; requires more thinking. That's obviously just my opinion but is anyone feeling the same?
I was sceptical after 1st ep but 2nd one was much better.
Be warned... this drama is silly. But not cringy silly like Hwayugi (thank god). This gives me such Jealousy Incarnate vibes... music, characters... I love it. It is light, it's going to be fun. But I hate it at the same time. SLS is gonna kill me here (sorry Seo Poong... gangster ahjusshi's character is just perfection) but I just cannot drop it.
Jang Hyuk... thank you for returning to romcom world! I missed your crazy laugh and smile (:
I've been saying it since the beginning myself xDI skip the brothers' story. I'll say it again. I think LJA and…
Brothers are very important in this story. The relationship between them is the reason PDH's wife started cheating on him. He is more involved in his brothers' life than his wife's. That's how I understand it.
And I personally love their stories as well. The actress is irritating and I still don't understand her relationship with the youngest brother... but I do think that dramas need side-plots like this because otherwise they get boring too quickly.
hmmm.. He really look like So Ji Sub in the first glance... :) how's Jung Kyung Ho here guys??? :)
IMO his character is a bit boring and doesn't really add much into the story. Which is such a shame... it doesn't seem like he is one of the mains here
