I just finished watching this drama a couple hours ago and I have to say it was really really good (: I agree with the other reviews when they say this drama isn't boring and has you on the edge of your seat. It's a roller coaster ride of emotion throughout the whole show. I've never come across a show filled up with so much hate and betrayal. I don't think I've hated a character as much as I did the step mother, who I felt myself not liking more and more as I watched each episode. In the beginning you have Eun Sung who comes back from studying abroad in America and her bag winds up getting switched with Hwan. As the story takes off from there you have these 2 characters continuously running into each other. She and her brother get kicked out by her stepmother, and not long after she loses her brother, Eun-Woo who is autistic. Majority of the show she's looking for him. While trying to make money she finds and starts to take care of this grandmother who's lost her memory. I don't want to say too much more, as I'd be giving away the story. Each episode had me guessing at what would happen next, and of course it leaves you hanging so you have to watch the next episode. This show made me cry, laugh, angry, but happy. Then you have the love triangles. It really is filled with a lot of drama and confliction, but that's what made it so good.

The acting in this show, well like the title it was Brilliant! You can really feel for the characters while watching it. I dunno how to describe it, but the acting was realistic. This was the first show I watched with Lee Seung Ki and Han Hyo Joo, and I plan on watching more dramas with them. And whoever played the step mom should've got an award. I hated her character but her acting was really good. Seung Mi's character... I liked her in the beginning but you feel her falling under pressure as the events continue. Her character was played really well, you could feel how hard she wanted to keep what was hers (or what she felt was hers). Jun Sae's character... I liked him. I felt bad for him later on in the story, he is a good guy. I'm glad at how the story ended, though.

As for the music...I liked it. The music played it's part and I liked a lot of the songs played throughout the show.

Will I rewatch this drama? Probably not anytime soon (too many dramas I wanna watch). Maybe a couple years from now I'll rewatch it. 28 episodes is a lot to get through (almost 3O hours total), but I think that watching this show was worth it.

Overall: Definitely worth watching. The story is really good, indeed like Cinderella in ways (evil step mom, step sister, "Prince Charming"). It makes you think about what money does to people. I'd have to count this as one of my favorites now (: And I loved Lee Seung Ki as Hwan haha, but that's my personal opinion

After finishing this drama I'm sad to see it go. I know some people (from what I've read) didn't start liking this show until later on in the episodes because they found the beginning to be boring. I didn't. I've been wanting to watch something with Yoo Seung Ho for a while and when I heard about this drama I just had to give it a try. I've never seen the Jversion, but I've heard that this version is a lot different (doesn't surprise me much because Korean remakes tend to be different). I loved it! Everything about it. I found myself rooting for Baek Ho on his journey and this drama left me feeling a lot of different things. Each week I found myself falling more and more into the story and before I knew it, I was even looking forward to it more than Shut Up Flower Boy Band - I just had to know what was going to take place next.

This drama frustrated me so much, everything Baek Ho tries to do, it seems to go in another direction. I think I must enjoy dramas that frustrate me, because the drama makes me feel so much and by the end, I feel that I've travelled so far with these characters, they've been through so much and it feels like a lifetime happened in a short amount of time.

The acting was terrific! Yoo Seung Ho is a child actor himself, so you know he's had a history of acting and he really pulled off the character of Baek Ho. I definitely want to watch more with him, he's going to make it far in acting. Park Eun Bin also did a really good job. I loved her as Yi Seul, and the chemistry between her and Yoo Seung Ho was good as well. All of the acting was good.

I loved the friends. Tae Nam's love for Chae Ri and Jin Joo's love for Chan Wook. The side stories with them were sweet and nice.

There were parts I found myself wondering if they forgot to show something, as something had happened earlier and it felt like they had forgotten it - but every time I thought that it wound up showing up later on in the right moment.

The music was nice. All along I loved it as the music for the drama, and I kept thinking I probably wouldn't listen to it outside of the drama but I find myself listening to the songs in the back of my head. I guess I grew to really like them with each episode.

Rewatch value...I definitely can see myself watching this again sometime. Not for a while - plus I want to watch the Japanese version as well to compare.

Overall, if you liked the Jversion I dunno if you'll like this one. And if you didn't like the Jversion then maybe you'll like this one better. This drama pulled me in and I'm sad to see it's already ended. There's a lot of drama, love, and frustrating moments that make you wonder how exactly this drama is going to end like.

I kept thinking the whole time that the drama was going to end on a different note - but at the same time I knew I was wrong. I almost gave this drama a full 10 but there were a few parts that I felt could've been done a little differently, so I gave it a 9 instead. But I do think this drama has fallen into my favorites (:

~~I wrote this review well over two years ago, when we didn't have Thai dramas on MDL, so I figured I would share this now that I'm able to!~~

This was my very first Thai lakorn! I fell in love with it from the first episode! I’d always wanted to try to watch one to see if I would like them, and this one came highly recommended for a first time lakorn watcher. It’s a cute rom-com, each episode just helped it get better and better!

This lakorn introduced me to Por Thrisadee – an actor who I definitely want to see more of after this drama! I loved him as a country guy, found his character adorable and cute. Paired up with Ploy the two of them were a great couple and the acting was done pretty good! I learned that in lakorns actors often come back to work with each again in another drama, and I’d like to see another drama with both of them as leads again.

And Pued! So adorable! He’s going to be a ladies killer when he grows up – such a cutie! I think he was my favorite character.

Dick was a dick. That is all I’ll say about him. Out of all western names he could have chosen he picked that name. It suited him very well. And Pathum got on my nerves a lot.

All in all though – the acting was good!

I loved the main songs to this lakorn! Even the annoying "Phee Poo Yai" by Buddhist Bless. It got stuck in my head a lot while watching it and they played it so much! But I loved the other songs – “Khao Kue Thur Chai Mai” [He Could Be The One] by Demi and “Hai Chan Doo Lae Thur” [Let Me Take Care Of You] by Nam Ronnadet was my favorite!

I can see myself rewatching this drama sometime. I really enjoyed it – it made me laugh, frustrated me, but at the same time the friendship was great and the love story was cute! I just have too many dramas I want to watch right now to rewatch it.

Overall – for my first lakorn I loved it! I’m glad I started off with watching this one. It also helped introduce me to the language. Thai used to sound very foreign to me but after watching this lakorn it helped me start to break that foreign barrier and begin to recognize the sounds and even a few words here and there. I’d recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a cute love story (:

~~Originally posted on The Dramatards

Even two years later I still have good thoughts about this drama, it was a fun ride and made me want to continue watching lakorn.

I found Buzzer Beat to be a really enjoyable drama. I started watching it because I heard good things about it and Yamapi is the main lead here. The story is good - it's about chasing your dreams and finding love along the way. Like other reviewers have stated, it's not a story that focuses just on basketball, more on the romance and the friendship between the characters.

The acting was done really well, no complaints at all. It was nice seeing Yamapi in a different role. Kitagawa Keiko I've recently seen in Paradise Kiss and her character here is different and she did a good job in her role. The rest of the cast was great as well!

The music was good! I loved the main song, "Ichibu to Zenbu" by B'z, I still listen to it a lot. Also the instrumentals were nice and there was also some classical music.

I can see myself rewatching this series someday, not any time soon, but someday.

Overall I think this drama deserved all the awards it got. It was well acted and the story was really good and enjoyable. There were a few characters that got annoying, but most dramas have those. In the end you find yourself cheering on the main leads. Also the friends were really great as well!

I liked the story by itself a lot. I felt it dragged a little in some parts, though, and they did a lot of flashbacks throughout the episodes. Also, there were parts in the story that were a bit unrealistic. I felt that Hebe and Mike He had good chemistry, though, and they played their parts well. I only wish the characters would have had more romantic scenes in the show, but it was still good. I would have to say the soundtrack to this drama is one of my favorites so far, music by S.H.E and the instrumentals they played in the background were just great (: Overall, I would say this drama is worth watching! It's a cute love story.

I absolutely loved this drama! I finished it about a week ago and still think about it. It's a simple story - a story about an innocent first love. It's one of the things I really loved about it - it was just simple, cliched even, but told in such a sweet way that it had my heart fluttering throughout the whole drama. It didn't have any over the top dramatic moments, it was just...nice (:

The acting was great! I loved the cast! I've seen Kame in 4 dramas now - and this is by far my favorite role he was in, his character just feels so real, just like an ordinary guy. He had great chemistry with Ayase Haruka, too, which just made the drama even better. And the friends were great! I loved Kou [Tanaka Koki]! His character was so sweet and nervous - just one of those guys you can't hate. And Toda Erika did a good job as Nao's friend (:

The music is great! Beautiful! I loved the soundtrack - I downloaded it (: Some of the music is reminiscent to Titanic's theme as other reviewers have mentioned. Of course it doesn't sound exactly the same, but similar definitely (: And the song "Cool Whispers" is a really pretty song. It definitely added emotion to the drama. Also I loved the ending song by KAT-TUN ["Bokura No Machi De"].

Will I rewatch this? Most definitely, I can honestly say I can see myself watching this drama again over and over (:

Overall - It's an underrated drama but one that's most definitely worth watching! If you're looking for a sweet love story this is a perfect drama to watch! For those sweet heartwarming moments. It even had me crying at one point.

There are a few really cheesy moments to note, one especially in episode one, but don't let it keep you from watching it, really (:

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this version when I was deciding to watch it. After I started to watch it, I knew I was going to like it because I've read the manga and the drama flows really well with the events that happen in the manga. Also, I loved Ella as Rui Xi (Mizuki Ashiya), although she does look really boyish in the show, it's hard not to like her, especially later on in the series. And Wu Chun as Quan (Sano Izumi) was perfect for the part. You can really feel that those two have great chemistry in the series, and it was fun to watch. Jiro as Xiu Yi was absolutely funny! I loved his attempts at speaking English, and overall he was just hilarious! This show introduced me to Fahrenheit, I love their music (: Which, also, there's a song by them playing in the background in almost every episode (: I did find myself disappointed in the ending, because I felt they leave you hanging almost, but overall that was my only disappointment, the show was really cute and fun to watch (:

I previously wrote a review for this drama but it got deleted when the site got hacked. Gives me the chance to write an even better review for it though (:

Hana Kimi was my first ever drama and I absolutely loved it! I originally read the manga and it became one of my favorites and I stumbled across this live-version. The drama was loosely based off of the manga, but there was so many things about this drama that made me not care about it. The funny, hilarious, and random events that happened, I still rewatch those scenes over and over again. I've watched this drama twice and my favorite parts a hundred times. The story might not seem that original nowadays, but there's something special about Hana Kimi.

The acting was great, especially Ikuta Toma as Nakatsu Shuichi! He was my favorite character in the manga and he felt more real in this version, and plus he was downright funny! I loved Jiro in the Taiwan version, but Toma plays the best Nakatsu [in my opinion] (: Horikita Maki was a good Mizuki, I don't have any complaints about her. I wasn't a fan of Oguri Shun as Sano, only because his character seems a bit dark while the original Sano is more like Wu Chun in the Taiwanese version. That's my only complaint. Not that he acted his part badly, but how his character was written for this drama just didn't win me over.

I loved all the music to Hana Kimi! From "Ikenai Taiyou" to "Peach" to all of the instrumentals. I absolutely love "Ikemen Boogie" and it's one of my all time favorite instrumentals.

I've watched this drama twice and I plan on watching it more than that!

Overall: If you're looking for something light and funny I recommend this drama if you haven't already seen it. There are many funny moments and you might find yourself replaying them over and over again (:

It Started With A Kiss is one of my favorite dramas. I just fell in love with the sweetness of the story and everything about it. The first season was really nice, and I finally got around to watching this one recently.

The story, I gave it a 7 because truthfully - it's a lot like the first season, but then it also drifts off into a lot of side stories with the supporting characters. Some were nice, but after a while I just wanted to see more with the main couple. Also there were parts that I felt they should've shown more with. Later on in the drama it kind of felt like some characters just disappeared and were forgotten about. I did enjoy it for the most part though.

I did love how Xiang Qin seems to grow up. She has a lot of silly and dumb moments just like the first one, but she does start to mature. Zhi Shu also grows up and you start to see his real feelings.

The acting between the leads was terrific! Ariel Lin and Joey Cheng really have wonderful chemistry, and they really pulled off their parts and especially the romance and love they were supposed to share. Some of the side characters though…they weren't as good at acting. Jiro was hilarious, I wish I had gotten to see more of him but he was only in about half the drama. I also loved the friends that Xiang Qin made later on, Qi Tai was my favorite. Christine was nice, but to be honest, the actress wasn't that good at acting.

I loved the music to the first season, and after a while the music for this drama grew on me. And I loved the upbeat songs they started playing in the later episodes. Really nice!

I can see myself rewatching both seasons of ISWAK someday, just probably not for a long time, haha. Too many dramas I want to watch.

Overall, if you liked the first season you'll most likely love this one as well. There's definitely a LOT more kisses and sweet moments than there is in the first season.

My one problem I started to have towards episode 15 is the fact that they change the actor for Yu Shu. I understand that time progressed in the drama and he had to get older, but the way they place the new actor in the drama is quite random, and I had a hard time adjusting to this random guy they changed him into.

Towards the end I did find myself skipping through some scenes to hurry up and finish it. The ending is nice, and they leave it unfinished just like the manga (which I haven't read). I don't know if they'll ever make a season 3 because of that, but I love how they paid respect to the original author of the story.

Anyways, fans of ISWAK you'll find yourself liking this version. To be honest I think I prefer the first season, but there's a lot that enjoyed the second season more, so give it a try yourself and see if you like it (:

This review may contain spoilers
To start off...I honestly loved this drama! The story is really unique and original and I fell in love after the first episode. It's really funny, filled with drama, and also heartbreaking in parts. This is the 2nd show I've watched that was written by the Hong Sisters (first being You're Beautiful), and so far I'm liking their style of dramas. Also You're Beautiful fans might enjoy seeing 3 of the characters showing up randomly in this drama haha (: (says so in the cast so it's not a spoiler...haha)

The acting is amazing! I originally watched this story because of Lee Seung Gi (first watched him in Shining Inheritance and loved him there) and his acting is really good in this drama! I loved him as Dae Woong, and there's no denying he's got one amazing smile (haha). This was the first drama I've watched with Shin Min A but I have to say her acting was done really good as well. She does a great job of pulling off learning things for the first time, and there's nothing bad I can say about her character. It's hard not to like her (: Now for the other guy, No Min Woo, it seems most people liked his character better than Dae Woong because of his looks. Personally, I didn't care for his character as much (only because I liked Dae Woong) - his acting was good though. The noona really got on my nerves in the show, but that just means her portrayal of her character was done well.

The Director and Dae Woong's Aunt make up for a lot of the funny parts in the show haha. Everytime they're together you'll find yourself going "Here we go" haha. If you don't like cheesy scenes, you might not like their characters.

The soundtrack has officially become one of my favorites! I love the music, especially Seung Gi's songs and "Fox Rain."

Will I rewatch this series? Not anytime soon (because there's so many dramas I wanna watch!), but I can see myself rewatching this show again down the road, it's become one of my favorites - I absolutely loved it! The only thing I wish is that it were a little longer, but I still found it great!

Overall - Watch it! (: If you're looking for something funny, sad, different with a great soundtrack and actors, this'll definitely be a must watch (:

I first watched this movie because I had heard that it was a good movie and that Death Note was a good show. I found myself wondering what was going to happen next throughout the entire movie. I think it's something worth watching if you're into both suspense and supernatural events. I don't really get why they played songs by the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the end of the movie (and the second one), though, haha. I've watched this movie 2-3 times, and I still like it. So overall, it's worth taking the time out to watch, especially if you're a fan of the show/manga. (:

I loved this movie! As soon as I got done watching it I downloaded the soundtrack! I loved all the piano music in the film. I thought the story was really good. I had heard it was a sad movie, but I was surprised at the turn of events, I hadn't expected it to turn out the way it did. I can't really express my thoughts about the film that way without spoiling anything. But I will say this movie is probably the best asian movie I've seen so far (although I've only seen a handful at the moment -_-). The music was wonderful, the characters/actors were great and I can honestly say I'll probably watch it again! Like the previous review, I did feel it started off a little slow in the beginning, but once it starts picking up you can't stop watching it. Especially towards the end! Definitely a must watch!!

I found this movie to be alright. Maybe part of it was me being really tired while watching it, but I didn't get too into it. I thought the story itself wasn't bad, Kushimori's abusive stepfather comes back to live with his family and upsets the atmosphere, so he decides to find a way to get rid of him. The problem I had with the movie was how fast the events seemed took place. It says this movie is supposed to be a romance movie as well, but it's very little. The movie deals more with crime than anything else.

The acting was pretty good, though. Not the best but it wasn't bad. This was the first movie I've watched with Ninomiya Kazunari (from Arashi), and I think he portrayed his character well.

There isn't really any music that goes with this movie, aside from the song they play in the beginning and at the end. All other music isn't memorable.

I dunno if I'll watch this movie again, it's not something I really got into.

Overall, do I think it's worth taking time out to watch? I'd say if you have nothing else to watch, it's not a bad film to kill some time with. Maybe you'll get more into it than I did.

I finished watching this brilliant story about a week ago and debated writing a review. But I loved this story so much I decided to give my opinion (:

The story is great! It's original, funny, sweet, sad. There were parts that made me laugh so much, parts that made me cry. I loved almost all of the characters - and it's always nice to see a main girl who knows how to defend herself. I think this is one of the few dramas I've watched where I've even found myself liking the second main lead girl. I knew I would love this drama by the end of episode 1 and I wasn't wrong. It's hard to choose a favorite among the characters, because they were all great! Including Secretary Kim and Ah Young.

The acting is amazing! Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won did a terrific job - especially during the parts when they switched. They really acted each other out well! And the other actors did great, too (You really get a feel for the characters).

The music is great! I love the soundtrack! My favorite song was "Scar," but I loved "That Man" and "Appear" as well as the other songs.

I will definitely watch this drama again, I've just seen it and I've thought about rewatching it again sometime soon.

Overall - it really is a great drama to watch (as I keep mentioning, haha). If you're the type who enjoys romantic comedies with a twist, this one is great (: I agree with all of the other reviewers who have rated this drama well, it really is a wonderful story - so... watch it! (:

I enjoyed watching this drama. The story was good, although it took me some time to get over the fact of the step brother/sister relationship. Considering they're not related by blood and are 2 different people, I got over it. Instead I found myself loving them as a couple. Rainie and Mike He have great chemistry! This was the first drama I've seen with both of them together. The side couple, Yuan Yu and Qing Zi were nice to see, and the rest of the guys plus Ahrang were great, too! Plus the parents were funny (:

Acting - Great! Nothing to complain about with any of the characters.

The music was good, I found myself downloading some of the music from the show (:

I have too many shows I wanna watch to rewatch, so i dunno if I will or not.

Overall- I think this show was worth watching (: If you're a fan of Taiwan dramas, and have not seen this one yet, I highly recommend it! It definitely has quite a few romantic scenes, and you'll find yourself rooting for the 2 to be together in the end (:
