I just knew who is gonna backstab Mr Park and who would help him. My heartbroke until I saw them under one roof again. But then the ending few seconds left me feeling empty and sad. Watched twice but somehow still did not understand the reason for last few seconds. He was a spy, he did what he was told to do, without losing his conscience at anytime, even saved the whole situation during election but still....?? Serious???
I have a love hate relationship with this drama. I love it for Kim Nam Gil, he served perfectly. I hate it because…
Also, when his hairs fell on forehead in ep 1 or 2, I immediately sensed his affection (best and most distinguishable traitsin kdrama) and I was right. He started to have affection for FMC but the granny told him to stop TT

My heart ached every time Van suffered and finally broke when he had to sacrifice himself. Like they could have simply shown Van and Mi Ho building the seal together instead of his sacrifice!! Then both can have their HEA whether they're together or not. He just wanted to be a human. TT
And that brat girl should have been punished. If they didn't intend to make a part 3, they shouldn't have shown her freeing(?) evil in end.
I have a love hate relationship with this drama. I love it for Kim Nam Gil, he served perfectly. I hate it because he (Van) is the MC with minimal plot armour. My man needed to live freely, happily and healthily as a human. Poor soul! They did dirty to him. He presumably lived for few hundred years but didn't feel alive/happiness.
Its upsetting that there's still no news of another part...why make shows with incomplete endings? This, Vagabond,…
I almost teared up seeing Van's flashback, especially when he said "I just want to feel human emotion even if it's for a moment" and ended up killing Wonjeong because the white hair guy's last second move. My boy just must have had a mental breakdown. Also, later the granny told him something like not to give her any affection.
And Ga Ram, my heartbroke when I realised the person he liked was Su Min. And Su Min blowing his ashes around Seoul during was so emotional and heartwarming.
I came across this while going through Nam Gil's works and when I saw the poster, I knew I have to watch this. 26 year old Nam Gil was a whole new vibe to see. Totally different from his other dramas that I love and yet this is another masterpiece!
Glad it's still available after 19 years. At first, even I was aware of Jae Min coz of the wallet and taxi scene. I could also understand how wary Su Min must be when he sees ML and factory. Then I felt like Su Min's life takes a turn for worse. I am not a fan of love at first sight so Jae Min definitely felt kinda creepy. Luckily, things get better later on.
Except the one wrong thing in end, this is 10/10 for me. I didn't see that coming at all.
30 minutes in and God the prime minister and whole staff under President is rotten trash. Well, the president is no better when he was the first person to call Kang Jae Hyeok as 'that person'. If not for the wake up call from the female (his wife I think), he would have lead the nation to ruins.
Pilot would have declared an emergency right away when he knows there is a biohazard on the plane and passenger's…
Right! Even I was expecting him to declare emergency right after Yim Siwan's death. At this point of time, all people on airplane were surely not infected. They should have done landing around 1-1.5 hours and then show the whole aftermath.
Cutting the landing sequence at the end was so irritating and anti-climactic. If you're making me sit through…
EXACTLY! Why cut the landing and the quarantine scene. After all the rollercoaster ride, it instantly goes into a peaceful atmosphere. All the tension built only to cut a crucial moment. I was expecting people (or rather the nation) to thank the pilot, flight crew, on-board doctor and the detective (who got himself infected) for their continuous effort of bringing back everyone home safely even when they themselves were infected with virus.
I never expected any another country to allow their landing but not their home country leaving them hanging mid air because of people's protests at the air base. That's a big betrayal, a huge back stab, an emotional damage to anyone affected by the disaster.
The people in flight are your own fellow countrymen. They need help. I mean, I don't even want to consider the protestor's concern for infection but leaving them hanging mid-air with less fuel and an ex-pilot with his own fears is traumatic.
I am pissed and heartbroken at the same time. Abandoning them mid-air only to crash in any place is just a big no.

I was misslead by the high rating and positive reviews (maybe they made sense in 2020) and I tried my best until…
yes, it came during the (peak?) covid times (May 2020) and was a fluffy romcom with eye candy leads, intense chemistry and many good kisses. It was definitely popular. I myself re-watched it countless times.
It's almost 6 years, we have too many better romantic dramas with perfect script, characters and chemistry, this one definitely isn't as pleasing as it was in 2020

Van needed to get his humanity back!
I just thought Su Min would be heartbroken by the betrayal and cold shoulder and move on; move out as well probably because the place will remind him of Jae Min (and Ga Ram too). Especially when Jae Min when to his place after confessing to the fiancée, I was nervous he is gone. Guess it's the effect from watching too many vertical c-dramas ðŸ˜
